Happy Wednesday! We hope you are all having a whale of a day…haha. Our {somewhat} cheesy pun is brought you today by our latest How To’s Day! If you hadn’t seen yesterday’s post, we shared a tutorial for our Wallace the Whale plush. He is the absolute sweetest whale, and is looking pretty dashing in our Design Studio Collection. It’s also time for another Winsday! YAY! This week, we are giving away our Petite Plume FQ Bundle on our Facebook Page. This beautiful collection of feathers, birds, and floral designs takes us to that wonderful Summer to Fall transitional period with its richer, more earth-toned colors. We thought it would be the perfect collection to giveaway this week, as we are heading into our last days of August… Last month, we launched our Summer 2014 Collections and were so happy to see all the positive responses from all of you. It’s time for our What We Love #10 ♥ Every week, we have been sharing with you all the things that ‘tickle our fancy’ here at the Camelot Design Studio, on our Pinterest. Today we are sharing some of the things that we have really been enjoying as of late. We love designing and creating, and are often inspired by our everyday lives and activities. Whether it is a day out with family, cooking with friends, playing our favorite game or instrument, or going on a picnic…there is so much to be influenced by. Take time to do the things that make you happy, because happiness is the true ingredient to success. On to what we’ve loved this week… ♥

To start off another great week, we’ve got this week’s Moody Monday to inspire you. Today we are sharing our Pastel Me More by Camelot Design Studio Collection from our latest Summer 2014 collections. Pastel Me More is a fun, upbeat, and girly collection of beautiful…yup, you guessed it, pastels. Pinks, greys, blue, and yellow come together to create wonderful swirl of geometric and floral patterns. With a mod-flair, these colors are perfect for spring and summer – throw on your favorite oversized sunnies, large floppy hat, and an adorable pastel dress and you will be all set for a picnic in the park or sunset bike ride! We were definitely inspired by Alexander Lewis‘ Resort 2015 Collection – full of sweet, pastel-y hues, mod-inspired cuts and silhouettes, and pretty patterns…we lovelovelove this one. It definitely reminds us of our Pastel Me More collection, so girly and vintage-inspired with a modern twist. We can never get enough pastels for the spring and summer! Today is our What We Love #9! ♥ This week, we have been inspired by all that is gold, brilliant, and encouraging. Fire is the element of life, passion, and newness…three characteristics that inspire us to take charge of our life paths. We adore this fire pit table that brings people together for a fun and delicious meal. One can never have too many shiny accessories, such as these beautiful earrings, golden keys, and minimalistic utensils. Lastly, we share this empowering quote that encourages us to take the extra step because the outcome will be wonderfully rewarding ♥

It’s time for our What We Love! This week, the Camelot Design Studio has been inspired by clean spaces, intricate detailing, and bright colors. Things can get pretty hectic – the hustle and bustle of day-to-day can be a lot to handle – that we forget to enjoy the little things in life sometimes. If you get the chance today, take a minute to appreciate the architecture or fresh blooms on your way to work and remember that yes, life can be busy, but we must also enjoy the moments…as mundane as they may seem.
