It’s time for this week’s Fan Friday, and it also happens to be the last Fan Friday…of 2014! Today we are featuring some adorable dolls that we found on Instagram from Heather. When we saw them, we squealed with the amount of adorableness and knew we just had to share! Heather comes from a family of quilters, and she taught herself to sew in 2006. It wasn’t long before she discovered doll making and knew she had found her niche in the sewing world. She opened up her Etsy Shop, Handmade by Heather, to share her dolls with others who will cherish them as much as she had making them.

Heather pays great attention to detail when making her sweet dolls; each handcrafted with lots of love, as well. She chooses fabrics that are bright and modern for their clothing. She also makes the sweetest mermaids that we are just head over heels for! Soso cute!!

Heather chose some of our collections for her dolls’ clothing, such as our Penelope and Mint Condition by Jackie McFee collections. They work wonderfully to bring her dolls to life, looking all sorts of stylish and pretty in their outfits!! :)

Time to end another fun week with a Fan Friday post! Today we are featuring Simply Stitched by Sara, an Etsy shop dedicated to providing high-quality, handmade baby essentials such as baby blankets, bibs, burp cloths, hand-cut appliqued clothing, and more! Sara Sebero Bryant, owner and creator of Simply Stitched by Sara, loves modern fabric designs with bold, bright, and fun prints & colors. She chooses and uses these fabrics for her baby essentials, making them equally fabulous and on-trend. Sara is also a stay-at-home mommy of two and military wife & veteran. She learned how to sew at a young age, sitting on her mother’s lap while she sewed…and her passion for sewing only grew as she did. She was able to turn her passion into a business, creating unique baby essentials and sharing them with the world.

Sara loves our What a Gem and Penelope Collections, and used them in her designs. We thought they were beautiful, and just had to share her creations with all of you. The first is a baby bandana, which is as adorable as it is stylish. The baby bandana is “a creative and unique alternative to the traditional bib – the bandana bib will have your little one drooling in style, while keeping them dry”. We love the idea, and we definitely agree that any little one will be rocking with style in our What a Gem collection.

The next project we absolutely adore is this Luxurious Chenille Burp Cloth, with our Penelope collection. In addition to being gorgeous and cuddly, this burp blanket is “designed for the hip, trendy parents on the go to withstand the ickiest and messiest of spills and spits”. Any baby using this chenille burp cloth will definitely feel posh and comforted! LOVE!!

Happy Friday! YAY for it being almost the weekend!! :) Have you entered our Itty Bitty FQB x Aurifil Giveaway? We have been rocking out to our Summer Playlist in the office, and have been looking for some new songs to play…which inspired this week’s giveaway theme. Be sure to enter HERE! :)

Time to finish off a great week with our Fan Friday! We saw this absolutely precious on Instagram, and we just had to share! Jenn Trumbo shared her stunning apron with our Penelope Collection and we are in love with it. At the Camelot Design Studio, we are definitely suckers for anything with pockets. And these pockets = perfection! Jenn used our main floral print from Penelope for the body, and our beautiful Pink Baubles print for the contrasting trims…a beautiful combination! :)

Jenn is a part-time seamstress, and full-time mommy to a 3 year old boy. She has always had a love for sewing and quilting, and has found a career that she loves & finds a great passion for. Her favorite part about sewing? Fabric shopping, of course! She gets inspired by her pretty fabric finds for project ideas, and always has at least three different projects in the works at a time. She sews ceiling grid designs for Noah’s Events Venue and apron samples for Jan Lutz from The Apron Lady Designs. However, it’s important for her to separate her “work” sewing and her “fun” sewing. In her free time, she really loves making things for her friends and family…another “excuse” for more fabric shopping. We agree with your smart thinking, Jenn! :)

Jenn saw our Penelope Collection at a quilt show and was immediately drawn to its happy colors and designs! Pink and blue is her favorite color combination, and she was inspired to create a work apron with it. The bright colors from her apron now add an instant boost to her workday when she wears it. And how can it not? It’s such a fun and sweet apron!! Thank you so much Jenn for the fabric love, and for sharing your Penelope apron with us. We are finishing the end to another great week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring an adorable free project from E-beth Designs using our Penelope Collection. How perfect for our Penelope Giveaway week! We first saw this project on Instagram (thanks for tagging us!!), and we squealed with excitement from how super cute it was. Elizabeth Shepherd of E-beth Designs created a beautiful Adjustable Fabric Headband Pattern as a free project on her website, and featured our Penelope Collection with it. It’s a simple, but fun project…and is such a great accessory to “jazz up” any outfit for the Spring and Summer!

Elizabeth’s daughter is seen here wearing the Penelope headband, and we think she looks super adorable and so ready for Summer!! Elizabeth is also working on a romper tutorial that will also feature our Penelope collection, and we are SUPER excited to see the finished project! :)

E-beth Designs is a mix between an online pattern/fabric shop and blog filled with lots of fabric, sewing, and project tutorial goodies!! We absolutely adore the modernity and stylish pieces that Elizabeth creates, and are so happy she loves our Penelope Collection. Thank you so much, Elizabeth, for sharing your project with us and for the fabric-love.
