Hi everyone!

We have been working with some incredible quilt pattern designers to create exclusive and free fantastic quilt designs for our Free Projects Program. It has been such a wonderful experience being able to partner with such creative minds who have created quilt designs that perfectly encapsulate our fabric collections. Our fabric collections have a modern, fresh, and vibrant feel to them and all of our exclusive modern quilt designs showcase that.

We have so many fantastic free quilt designs on our website currently, but we have decided to post a roundup of our current quilt designs on our blog each month. This way, you can see all the new wonderful quilt designs and talent we are currently working with. You can check out all of our current designs, as well as free projects, here. Here is our quilt roundup for March!!

Camelot Fabrics Plus Sized Quilt | Free Project

This week’s How To’s Day is sharing with you a tutorial on a simple, but modern quilt design! This tutorial is such a great one for the beginner quilters because there aren’t too many pieces, the instructions are clear & concise, and the end result is a stunning quilt to call your own! :)

We used our Paisley Please by Jackie McFee Collection for this quilt, which makes it very fresh, vibrant, and pretty. This would be the perfect quilt for snuggling up with a book on those cooler nights, to use as an esthetic piece to vamp up a room, or even as wall décor!

11 March

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. The end of the Winter holidays only means the commence of all celebrations to follow (ie. Valentine’s Day, St. Patty’s Day, Easter, etc.). With the bountifulness of all the upcoming celebrations, having the appropriate attire is always *fitting*. And yes, from one woman to another, it’s honestly one of the best parts of a holiday – finding a new and pretty outfit to match! ;) But…how about the men in our lives?

Sure, a man can wear his best suit…but even they have the chance to amplify their outfit a bit. Changing up a necktie design is one of the easiest ways to start anew with a basic suit. Today we are sharing our DIY necktie tutorial with you all! Any design would look fantastic with our tutorial, but we especially adore our Iconic collection as an added freshness and modernity to a look.

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday everyone! We hope you all are having a wonderful day. It is terribly cold and windy here today, with just a wind gust of only 45 km/hr (27.9 mi/hr)…eek! We are exceptionally jealous of all of you who are enjoying sunny weather and warm rays. With the cold weather, we need something to cheer us up…such as a…party! The holiday festivities have thus come to an end, but sometimes throwing a fantastic party on impulse is the best way to lift the spirits of any bit of S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder).

For us, any gathering that includes great company, amazing food, and lovely decor (and maybe just a dash or two of sparkle!) is a party! We love easy, DIY party decorating ideas and we’ve got one for you today. Napkins are a great way to change up a party look and add some instant flair to your dinner table, and our DIY napkins tutorial can do just that!

They are easy to make, look fantastic, and are environmentally-friendly. Ps, how cute are these measuring tape-styled napkin rings?! They are part of our new barware collection that will be coming soon, so stay tuned! So, call all of your closest friends and get to DIY-ing, ’cause you’ve got a party to plan!

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday! As well, it’s Christmas Eve!! We hope everyone is having a blissful day, taking a moment to enjoy everything even through the busy rush. Santa Claus is coming to town tonight, and we are super excited! ;) Here’s to family traditions and memories, and of course the plethora of amazing food! Yum yum yum!! “‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there…”

We’ve also got a How To’s day for you! Today we are sharing an exceptionally adorable project we are sure you are going to LOVE! You might just squeal with glee when you see just how cute these stuffies are. Today’s tutorial is of these uber sweet Stegosaurus stuffed animals, perfect for any little youngin’. How precious would these be to decorate a little one’s room? They can be used as room decor, as friends, and pillows! Change up the fabric designs to match these stuffies to any room scheme. Take a peak at our black-and-white themed Steggies:

For the gingham stegosaurus, we used 9400/N #11 for the Main color and 21547 #11 for the Contrast color. For the damask stegosaurus, we used 4150003B #2 for the Main color and 9400/N #11 for the Contrast color.

So precious right?! You can make your very own Stegosaurus stuffed animals with our tutorial today. The project isn’t too difficult, and in not too much time…you’ll have a steggie friend of your own! Click more to see the full tutorial :)
