Hi everyone!
Happy Friday! It’s just about the weekend!! Does anyone have any special plans? It’s going to be rainy here for us, but we’re looking forward to a movie night in – complete with buttered popcorn, S’mores, warm socks, and a much needed Katherine Heigl movie marathon. Cheers to the weekend! :)
Today is Fan Friday here on the blog, and today we’ve got a super special treat (for both you and us!). We adore seeing all your projects using our fabric, but we’ve recently been posting our DIY free projects on our site which we are very excited and proud of. One of our most recent projects have been our Stegosaurus Plush Toys, and we received the best surprise from Judi who created her own steggies!
They are honestly absolutely too adorable for words. Judi created four of her own stegosauruses for her grandchildren, using our patterns, and even put her own spin on each of them. We love that each stegosaurus has its own personality – so so cute!!
Hello sweet steggies!! We are so thrilled that you enjoyed using our stegosaurus pattern, Judi! As well, thank you SO much for sharing your project with us. Everyone here is gushing over how adorable and lovely they are!!
We hope everyone has enjoyed today’s Fan Friday post. If you have used any of our free projects or our fabric, we would LOVE to see your projects! You can always send us pictures to info@camelotfabrics.com :) Have a great weekend everyone.
Happy Sewing!

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday! We hope everyone is having a fantastic day. It’s almost the weekend!! Three days into the new year, and we are feeling great. So ecstatic and happy for all the amazing things to come in the new year. What is everyone’s plans for the upcoming weekend? It’s the first weekend after the holidays, so we think a sit-down by the fire with a good book sounds just about right.
Today is Fan Friday on the blog, and we’ve got another great person to share. Coral, quilter and crafter (we adore her already!), shared with us her “Boldly Go” pillows with us using our Star Trek fabric and we absolutely love them! After Coral’s sister-in-law saw an advertisement of Star Trek fabric at a local quilt shop in Australia, Coral thought it would make a great project idea. She bought the fabric, used Design Sponge’s Pillow Tutorial, and thus two Trek-worthy pillows were created!
She designed one with our Blue Space fabric, and one with our Characters fabric. Coral and her mother-in-law bonded over their mutual love for Star Trek (both big Trekkies…though her mother-in-law prefers the newer series to the original), and will be gifting them to her for her birthday in January! Check out the pillows below:
Thank you so much Coral for sharing your amazing projects with us, and for allowing us to share them! We are so happy that, as a true Trekkie, you adore our Star Trek fabric! You can check out Coral on Twitter. Thank you so much for reading today’s Fan Friday. Happy Weekend everyone!

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday, the weekend is just upon us. If you are still recovering from the holiday celebrations, oh we hear you…because so are we! We cannot believe that the holiday season is officially over for 2013, but that also just means we now have all year to come up with creative and fun ideas for the 2014 celebrations ;)
It’s time for another Fan Friday post! Today we are taking the time to share with you a fun and creative shop, PK Stuff. Pam Kellebrew, owner and product extraordinaire of PK Stuff, started up her shop after many years delved in the crafting world. It only seemed like the natural, next-step to take – to share her passion with others – and is now behind a very successful online shop! PK Stuff sells all sorts of wonderful things, from stuff for your home to stuff for your bag! Pam loves to create “stuff” that are not just functional, but also pretty to look at..and she definitely does just that.
Amongst all her lovely items, she has used Camelot Fabrics in the mix! Our favorite is her PK Go-Go Wristlet and Tote About with our Simply Fashionista by Jackie McFee collection. By the way, how cute is the name of this wristlet? We adore how the floral fabric looks, styled as this sweet wristlet that is perfect to take with you on the go! Beautiful style and great choice in fabric, Pam!
Thank you for sharing with us your wonderful wristlet and for loving our fabric designs! If you would like to check out her wristlets, and all the other wonders she carries, click here for her shop! She also sells fabric, and you can follow her on Facebook. Thank you so much for reading this week’s Fan Friday! If you have a project using our fabric and would like to share it with us, please email us at info@camelotfabrics.com – We adore seeing all your fan projects! :)

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday! We hope everyone is having a fantastic day. There are 5 more days until Christmas!! “Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful” – Norman Vincent Peale
Is anyone doing some last minute Christmas shopping this weekend? That is definitely in the plan (oops!), along with finding some delicious recipes for the upcoming holidays parties and spending some downtime playing in the freshly, fallen snow! We hear a snow angel (or two!) calling our names to be made! :)
It’s time for another Fan Friday! Today we are featuring another fantastic Etsy Shop, SuiteWorks. SuiteWorks is run by a husband and wife duo, and they specialize in creating unique, handmade baby accessories such as bibs and aprons that are very practical yet stylish. They spark the idea of creating on-trend baby pieces when they became parents themselves, and saw the limited design choices and “created the label to provide parents with alternative baby and children’s products. Each item is handmade with love and great care. The uniqueness of each piece will sure to put a smile on your child’s face.”
In lieu with fashion fabric designs, the husband and wife duo has chosen Camelot Fabrics amongst their favorites. One fabric design they especially love is our Hot Chocolate by Jackie McFee fabric collection. All the designs in Hot Chocolate are vibrant, fun, and on-trend…perfect for baby accessories and the like, and would make perfect holiday gifts too.
We adore the bibs they created with our Hot Chocolate collection. Any baby wearing these bibs are definitely going to be style mavens in the making! Click to see more :)

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday! We hope everyone is having a fantastic day. We definitely are having a great day in the office today! Christmas presents and a cookie exchange…we’ve now got a sugar rush but in the best way possible. Yum! What is everyone else up to for the day? :)
We have a Freddie’s Friends and Fabric Giveaway on our blog too! Click here to enter :) You can win an Olive the Owl sewing pattern and the accompanying fabric.
And it’s also Fan Friday on the blog. Today we are sharing a crafty Etsy shop, Thread Lightly Designs. Thread Lightly Designs is run by a mother/daughter team, Elaine and Erin, who create handcrafted, stylish accessories, book covers, bags, and more! Erin and Elaine choose fabric designs that are trendy, fun, and brightly eye-catching. What had started as a side project in 2010 has now expanded to a multitude of new products, a strong customer base, and the place for all your gifting needs!
Some of the stylish fabrics chosen were that of ours, such as our Birds of a Feather by Allison Cole collection! The feather and bird designs look especially darling as weekly planners…so sweet and functional!
They make the perfect gift for all your friends (and yourself!), and the best part is that the covers are reusable. There are also amazing wallets, bags, passport covers, luggage tags, hair accessories, and bags galore! Click to see even more dazzling products :)
