Happy Tuesday! We hope you are all having a lovely day. Unfortunately, we’ve been getting some pretty yucky and muggy weather here as of late. We were surprised with a heavy downfall this morning, and some hail (yes, hail!) in some parts of the city this weekend. Let’s hope June will bring some more sunshine!!

To brighten up a gloomy day, we are here with our weekly How To’s Day! And this is a fun one, with colors that will surely brighten up any rainy day. And that is just what we need! Today we are sharing our Foldover Wedding Clutch Tutorial, featuring our Neon & On by Jackie McFee collection. With Summer approaching, it also means that party and wedding season are here too! And we couldn’t be any more excited!! Gorgeous floral arrangements, stunning gowns, delicious food, and heartwarming nuptials…we LOVE it all!  Plus, who wouldn’t want a reason to wear a cocktail dress and pretty accessories? :)

Our foldover wedding clutch is the perfect compliment to an even more perfect day!! This beautiful clutch would be a wonderful gift to show your loving bridesmaids how much they mean to you, or an added accessory to hold all your wedding day essentials! Happy Tuesday! It’s the second day of the week, but the first day back for us Canadians. It was an absolutely fantastic long weekend, with the weather being absolutely gorgeous – the perfect amount of coolness and sunshine = my kind of weather! As well, Quilt Market was this weekend and it was such a great market!! We hope you enjoyed all the pictures we posted on our Instagram; lots more to come soon! We’ve got an absolutely brilliant How To’s Day for you. Today we are sharing our tutorial for our Lattice Table Runner – a gorgeous quilted table runner that will instantly add some sparkle to your dinning or coffee table! We absolutely LOVE switching up and playing around with room décor, because they are a fun way to change up a look quickly, and at a lower cost. We really love sharing our home décor projects with you because, not only are they great for sprucing up a room, but they are so much fun to make. Triple win!

Our Lattice Table Runner is such a beautiful centerpiece to add to any table; it is a statement piece on its own! The intricate latticework on the table runner makes for a very pretty, fun, and modern feel that would look great with any fabric choice. We really love how it looks with our What’s Cookin’ by Allison Cole, as we think it’d be the perfect attention-grabber for a dazzling dinning table! Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day. We are celebrating Mother’s Day all this week because we love our mums! Today we are going to share with you a wonderful gift idea for that special mom who deserves to feel pampered.

This week’s How To’s day is our elegant Trellis Edged Robe featuring our Iconic Collection. This robe is luxurious and beautiful, complete with stunning trellis detailing on the sleeves and edging, as well as a satin lining. Happy Tuesday!! We hope everyone is having a lovely day. We are trying to embrace the milder weather, as we are supposed to be getting more rain in the next coming days. Sigh. We just want sunshine!! :)

In the meantime, we’ve got something else to brighten your day – it’s time for this week’s How To’s Day post! We’ve got a fantastic new tutorial to share with you all, our Easy Pillow Slip! We are all about simplicity and convenience here, so if we can make something…why not right? :) Bedcovers and sheets should be interchanged every couple of weeks, and there is honestly nothing better than the feeling of going to bed in fresh linens. However, buying extra bed wear can get pretty expensive, especially for something that can easily be made yourself, so we are going to share our tips & tricks with you today on just that!

Another awesome thing about bedcovers is that they are just that – covers for your bed! It’s the simplest way to change up a bedroom look; keep the rest of your bedroom décor neutral and add pops of color with your linens (ie. pillows, bed sheets, and curtains!). In a manner of minutes, you’ll have yourself a completely different looking room. It’s a great way to decorate on a budget (such as for a dorm room!), or for those who just like changing things up! Happy Tuesday everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful, blissful, and relaxed long weekend filled with love, family time, and chocolate :) As well, Happy Earth Day! We always try to do our part to help out our planet as much as we can, and sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference. For example, using a reusable tote at the grocery store, reusing fabric napkins, and a fun fabric ring stacking toy game are some ways you can “stay green” too! Any of our DIY projects are some easy ways to be crafty and use/reuse some fabric in your stash! :)

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are sharing another of our quilt patterns from one of our quilt designers, Christa Watson of Christa Quilts. The Herringbone Quilt, featured with our Gray Matters More by Jackie McFee Collection, is a very classic and clean design. This quilt would look spectacular with just about any fabric collection, but it features our gray- and yellow-hued collection perfectly by showcasing all the designs in a lovely uniformed manner.

Christa showcased this quilt on her blog, with a couple of really great tips, including how to work with directional fabric! We love this post because it really helps fine-tune the details of a finished quilt’s look. We are also very excited because this will be one of our featured quilts at Spring Quilt Market – we cannot wait to showcase it at the show because we know it will surely be a showstopper!
