It’s time to announce our Star Wars fabric giveaway winner today! We hosted a glow-in-the-dark Star Wars fabric giveaway in honor of May the 4th, and the response was outstanding! We adore our fellow Star Wars enthusiasts. We asked you who your favorite Star Wars character was, and you delivered! We got a great mix of characters, but Chewbacca, Yoda, and Han Solo were definite faves! Thank you to everyone who participated and for all your fantastic comments.

Happy Wednesday! We hope you are having a spectacular day. The weather is pretty mild today, but the sunshine is out and we are loving it! Although a little too chilly for our weather here, it’s National Picnic Day – we would love to be spending our lunch soaking up the greenery and sun! :)

Happy Wednesday everyone!! We hope you are all having a wonderful day – the snow is melting here!! Can it be? That Spring weather is just around the corner? :) We are crossing our fingers…and toes (just for good measure!). We hope everyone is having a sunny day too! :)

Happy Wednesday everyone! We hope you are having a lovely day. We have been getting milder weather here lately, and we’ve even seen a bit of green…but alas, we’re heading towards another snow storm here. It seems like Winter just does not want to end yet. We are just longing for Spring!!

To put us in a better mood, we are excited to announce our Roonie the Raccoon Kit Giveaway winner! For last week’s giveaway, we wanted to know what everyone’s favorite solid plush fleece from our basics collection was your favorite. We got an array of color favorites!! We are so thrilled that you all enjoyed our solid plush fleece colors; all of your comments were super sweet. Happy Wednesday! We hope you are all having a fantastic day!! It’s super cold here and we should be expecting a couple more centimeters of snow, we’re hoping it will be the last with the end of February nearing.

Today we are announcing the winner of our Chalkboard Fabric Giveaway! We want to thank everyone for taking the time to participate in last week’s Winsday. We wanted to know what you would create with our chalkboard fabric, and we received lots of innovative and great answers!! We have the most creative readers ever!! :)

After reading all the answers, it was definitely not an easy feat to choose just one. But alas, we can only choose one winner for our giveaway. Our chalkboard fabric winner is…

Congratulations, Lacey Dudiak!! Everyone had such creative answers, but we especially adored Lacey’s idea “I teach little ones with learning difficulties, and I would turn this chalkboard fabric into many different letter-tracing/fine-motor/spatial awareness activities! I could also use it to sew a small patch on a student’s backpack (maybe heart or star shape) to write notes or reminders on that are visible right before they leave school!  Or, I could add a fun bias edging and turn it into a multi-purpose floor mat- hopscotch, car mat, jump to the letter, etc. OK… I need this!” – We hope you enjoy our chalkboard fabric, Lacey!
