Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a wonderful day!! Weekend is just about here – any plans? :)

Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring some gorgeous clutches by Shannon Fraser of s/f designs. s/f designs is an Etsy shop dedicated to handmade & unique aprons, pillows, cosmetic bags, make-up brush rolls, lavender sachets, pet accessories, and more. As a longtime fabric lover, Shannon decided to take her passion and do something she enjoyed with it – making beautiful items to sell! She is inspired by nature and color in choosing fabric collections to sew with, and to create her designs. Her motto is to share her “love and passion with the world through [her] creative designs, one piece at a time.”

Shannon used a couple of designs from our Wildflowers collection for some feminine clutches, and we love how they turned out! She mixed our gorgeous floral prints with some textured, natural fabrics – which is the perfect balance.  The simple foldover clutches include a top zipper to hold all of your belongings. And, how the floral prints add a pop of color to the clutch is perfect. Not too much pattern, but just enough. So pretty!

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. Guess what? It’s almost the weeeeeekend. And with the gorgeous Summer weather, we’re ready for a pool day!

Ending a great week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring an embroidery case that Katherine sewed, featuring our Wildflowers by Alisse Courter collection. Katherine chose This and That‘s Tag Along Embroidery Bag, which is a fun whimsical bag that cleverly makes use of a charm pack. The feminine colors and floral prints of Wildflowers work so well together, to add the perfect amount of brightness and bloom to this useful bag!

Happy Thursday! I hope everyone’s day is going awesome-ly!! :)

It’s time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our awesome quilt designers who recently launched a new quilting book. Jessie Kurtz of Harding Hill Designs, who designed our beautiful Crossroads Quilt, released her new book at Spring Quilt Market: One Block Remix – 10 Fresh Quilts from One Traditional Block.

The book, available in her Etsy Shop, features quilts that use a traditional 2-1/2″ strip block, but modernized into fun and different quilts, ranging from crib-sized to king. Such a brilliant concept, using the same block to make unique quilts. We were happy to send Jessie some fabric for her quilts, and love how they turned out!

The first is her Downtown Criss Cross Quilt, which features our Rise & Shine Collection. We love how the blues and yellows pop against the solid black! The second quilt featuring Camelot Fabrics is her Uptown Turnaround Quilt, with Wildflowers by Alisse Courter. Who knew equilateral triangles could be so fun!!

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having a wonderful Winsday!! Today is also National Apple Pie Day – uhhh, YUM! There’s never been an apple pie I had that I did not like. Nothing better than a warm slice of apple heaven, wrapped up in a flaky crust and some ice cream…

Time to announce the winner of our Mother’s Day Winsday! This week, we hosted a Wildflowers FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page, inspired by our mums for Mother’s Day. We asked you what your favorite mommy-and-me memory was, whether as a child or more recent. We had so much fun reading all of the replies, and am sure it took you all down memory lane a bit… It was also a great way for us to think about our favorite moments with our moms. Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are all doing fantastic today. Interestingly, today is National Beverage Day...my favorite drink of choice on a hot, sunny day would have to be good ol’ lemonade. Yum! What is yours?

Another Wednesday, means that it’s Winsday time! Just in time for Mother’s Day this weekend, we’re hosting a Mother’s Day Giveaway on our Facebook Page. We love our mums – aka best friend, biggest supporter, teacher, shoulder to cry on, hand to hold when the tough gets tough, role model – and wanted to host a giveaway dedicated to the strongest of women.
