Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday! We hope everyone is having a good day so far. We cannot believe that there are 48 days until Christmas!! So excited for everything – the pretty decorations, the shopping, the gift wrapping, the food. Ah, we can’t wait! :)

It’s time for this week’s Thankful Thursday, and today we are thanking one of our incredible pattern designers. Nikki Maroon is the crafty gal behind the blog, The Girl Who Quilts, a name that perfectly embodies who she is. The Girl Who Quilts is all about Nikki’s quilting adventures, from her latest quilt creations to her tutorials to her custom work. Nikki creates really unique and pretty pieces, and shares her story behind each design in her posts. As well, Nikki has an Etsy Shop where she makes and sells her own patterns!

We found Nikki’s blog and absolutely fell in love her design style and patterns! Scrolling through her blog, our eyes were quickly filled with lots pretty quilts and incredible embroidery work. We are so happy that we got the chance to work with Nikki on a couple of projects for our Free Projects Program. Nikki has created three custom projects for us, the first is her Octagon Pillow which is very geometrically pleasing and showcases a collection wonderfully, such as our Mixology prints.

As well, she created her Diamond Cut Pillow for us which has a lovely “window”-like effect, which a diamond middle. We love it with our Sea Life by Heather Rosas Collection. Finally, her Diamonds Quilt is like the quilt version of the Diamond Cut Pillow and we are loving the gradient effect it has with our Spectrum Collection.

You can check out all of Nikki’s projects on our website! As well, be sure to check out more from Nikki at her blog, Etsy Shop, Facebook Page, Pinterest, and Instagram. Have a wonderful day!! :)

Hi everyone,

Happy Tuesday!! We hope everyone is having a lovely day so far. It’s the last day to enter our Beyond the Backyard x Westcott Giveaway, so if you haven’t entered yet, be sure to! We are giving away a Beyond the Backyard FQ bundle and two Westcott cutting tools.

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Tablet Case Tutorial from Hypernoodle, a case that is equally protective and stylish for your tablet. Long gone are the days of those industrial-looking and plain cases that, yes, are functional…but really not that pretty to look at. We’ve solved that problem with our fabric case so that now you’ll want to carry your tablet with you everywhere! The slight padding adds support, and the size will fit a standard tablet. As well, the snap closure makes it easy for you to use your tablet and then store it back.

We used our Iconic by Camelot Design Studio Collection to feature our tablet case, which makes it very modern and chic. The pink and navy pairing of our case is super pretty and elegant, and makes for the perfect companion for the stylish technologist-a on the go!

Fall Quilt Market was last week and we had the best time! It was wonderful getting to meet so many of you. Thank you for the all the amazing comments on our newest collections. We also sold FQ bundles for the first time this QM, and it was a hit! As well, we introduced our newest artist Alisse Courter. This QM was truly one for the books!!

In the heart of reminiscing of Fall QM, we are sharing some pictures of our booth. We received so many lovely comments on our booth setup. We also wanted to take the time to thank all our incredible project designers for creating and sewing up projects for us. Our booth would not have been half as beautiful without all your hard work and creative talent. Thank you!!

Hi everyone,

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having an absolutely wonderful day so far. We launched our Fall 2014 Collections last week and all the responses have been so amazing!! We are so happy that you love all of our new collections, and can’t wait to see all the lovely projects created by you with them. If you haven’t seen all of our newest collections yet, you can read about them all on our blog. As well, check out our website for all the designs.

In the heart of our new collections, today’s How To’s Day is featuring one of them – Elixir by Camelot Design Studio. As well, we have launched a new quilt design for our Free Projects Program by one of our wonderful project designers, Anne Sullivan of Play Crafts, Our Festival Quilt is a stunner – it is so pretty and modern, and the perfect quilt for a couch spread or as well as wall decor. The diamond blocks give the illusion of being the foreground of the quilt, almost as if there is a 3-dimensional effect. Our Festival Quilt has a whimsical flair, the fabric pieces not perfectly equal or in any special order, which gives it a more intricate and fun look.

Our Festival Quilt looks so pretty with our Elixir Collection; the mint, grey, and navy hues working perfectly with one another in this quilt design. We love how the turquoise prints are used within the squares, which creates that modern 3-dimensional look. So, so pretty!

Hi everyone,

Happy Tuesday!! We hope everyone is having a lovely day. You can definitely feel the frost in the air today. We’ve had a couple of “sweater weather” days, but now have been abruptly hit with the cold haha. Oh well. There are so many exciting things ahead – Quilt Market, Halloween, and Christmas. It’s also the last day to enter our giveaway! You can enter HERE for a chance to win an Imaginarium FQ Bundle!

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! We have been excitedly packing up everything for Fall Quilt Market, getting all our projects (in-house and outsourced) ready for the booth. We cannot wait to share all of our projects, but we have decided to give some little sneak peeks. Today we are featuring our Foldover Wedding Clutch in our Nightfall Collection. This absolutely stunning foldover clutch is the perfect little accessory for a Girls’ Night Out, Date Night, or any other glam event. Perfect in size to fit all your essentials – cell phone, lipstick, and money – this clutch will add some extra pizzazz to any outfit. The foldover design makes it super easy and convenient to use, and the wrap-around string is another unique detail.

We have previously shown this foldover clutch with our Neon & On Collection, which is a perfect statement piece for the summertime, but as we transition to fall and winter, our clothing choices and accessories are, in correlation to the weather, also getting darker.

We love our foldover wedding clutch with our Nightfall Collection because it’s so chic and glam, especially with the gold detailings. This clutch would be perfect with an LBD, but also with any other color because the gold really does pop! This clutch would be a perfect bridesmaid’s or birthday gift, especially along with our Trellis Edged Robe (free tutorial here).

We’d love to know what you would pair with our foldover wedding clutch in Nightfall, as well as what your ideal night out would be. Have a great day, everyone!
