AllFreeSewing.com also shares tutorials from around the web, and ours have been included! They featured our Half Circle Skirt Tutorial on their website, and we are super excited that they really love it as much as we do. We adore our Half Circle Skirt because it is relatively simple to make, and you create a beautiful and stylish skirt that you can twirl around in! It’s pretty much a win-win. You can find the featured tutorial on the AllFreeSewing.com website here.

They are also hosting their 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways on their Seams & Scissors Blog, and we are one of the sponsors. Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday! We hope everyone is having a brilliant day. It’s National Cookie Day – and all we can say to that is…where are the cookies?! Haha! Bring on the oatmeal, chocolate chip and macadamia nuts cookies pleaseee. YUM!

It’s time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! This week we are featuring one of our fantastic project designers…Stephanie Palmer of Late Night Quilter! Together Stephanie and Michelle, both fabric and quilting enthusiasts & mums, own and operate Late Night Quilter – a professional longarm quilting and pattern design company, and accompanying blog! The Late Night Quilter blog is a wonderful quilting haven that is dedicated to quilting projects and tutorials, all things modern & pretty, and longarm quilting services. They are focused on sharing their quilting tips and tricks, their latest quilting creations, and inspiring others with their love for fabric.

We had the lovely opportunity of working with Stephanie on a couple of quilt patterns for our Free Projects Program. Stephanie created three modern, whimsical quilt designs for us and we adore them all! They all embrace the esthetic that is Camelot Fabrics and showcases our fun fabric collections wonderfully. The first is a beautiful quilted pillow pattern called High Tide – a pillow design of diagonal pieces that create interesting triangle and trapezoid shapes. It’s a great pillow for showing a multitude of patterns, such as our London Fog Collection, in a cool way.

The second pattern is a stunning quilt design called Summer on the Sound, a pattern of pretty starbursts. We adore how it looks with our It’s a Bird’s Life by Heather Rosas Collection, focusing on the beautiful pinks and greens while keeping the rest neutral. Saybrook Island is another quilt pillow that creates a gorgeous, symmetrical  “leaf like” pattern – we think it looks perfect with our Mint Condition by Jackie McFee Collection! [CLICK TO SEE MORE]

It’s time for this week’s What We Love! Today is American Thanksgiving and we are a couple days away from December…so it’s officially okay to celebrate all things holiday! Pinterest is definitely a main source of inspiration for DIY project ideas, impeccable Christmas decor, and just all things pretty. We’ve also been starting to search for gift ideas for our loved ones – always the best part of the holidays for us (aside from the yummy food!). Inspired by geometric shapes, the holidays, and more…this is what we have loved most this week:

Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday!! And, Happy Thanksgiving to all of our American friends! We wish you all a wonderful day filled with lots of love, family time, and delicious food. Because today is our weekly Thankful Thursday, we thought it would be the perfect time to share what we are most thankful for…

We are so thankful for our wonderful and supportive families – thank you for loving us unconditionally and for always being there for us, especially when we need it most. We are so thankful for our incredible friends and significant others – we will forever cherish all the fun, crazy, special, and laughing-till-our-bellies-hurt times; you are our chosen family. We are so thankful for the place in which we proudly call our home, with all the necessities to live comfortably, happily, and safely. We are so thankful that we get to do what we love everyday, in a place where we are encouraged to be creative and inspired (and of course, play with lots of pretty colors and fabric ;)).

We are so thankful for our talented artists – Vita, Allison, Jackie, Heather, Andrea, Jane, and Alisse – so much inspiration, creativity, and awesome-ness. We are so thankful for all the fantastic people that we have gotten to partner with, including the magazine features, blog collaborations, and project pattern designers for our free projects program. And of course, we are so thankful for all of YOU – thank you for letting us be a part of your lives, for sharing your Camelot Fabrics projects & tutorials with us, for your sweet and positive words & comments, and for inspiring us each and every day. We are also thankful for chocolate, tea, online shopping, pretty pens, adorable kitties, post-it notes, and glitter hehe.
