Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a fabulous day. Have you been keeping up with the blog with week? We’ve been launching our Summer 2015 collections all of this week.
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring our wonderful friends at May Arts Ribbon, whom we have been collaborating with on some upcoming blog projects. May Arts Ribbon is a ribbon company, who specialize in wonderful quality ribbons of all sorts. Starting out as a high-quality silk flowers company, they soon realized how popular their ribbons were among their customers. And thus, they slowly graduated to being a ribbon wholesaler. From decorative ribbons for crafting, lace ribbons, 100% silk ribbon, and trims & embellishments – May Arts’ ribbon are one of the best! They have endless designs, colors, and types of ribbon that you are bound to find the right one for your next project.
One of the projects they created with our Folklore Collection was a tablet case. The DIY Tablet Case is designed like a book, with a top cover to protect your tablet screen. As well, it features a pocket in the front cover for convenience, and elasticized ribbon to securely hold the tablet in place. Jenifer of Stitch, Cute, and Create was the project designer, and used coordinating red ribbon and trim to decorate the tablet case. Our favorite part was that Jenifer cut out a little birdie and flower design from the fabric, and used them to decorate the front. Such a creative idea!
We absolutely adore the project, May Arts Ribbon and Jenifer! You all rock!! You can check out the tutorial for this tablet case here. Have a great rest of the day!

Time for this week’s What We Love ♥ New month, new adventures… in the midst of summer, we’re trying to do/try/experience/love/learn new things. Whether it be a recipe you’ve pinned but never got the chance to make, or a different experience such as skydiving (woosh!) or going to a ceramics class. Take a chance, take a risk, because you’ll never know unless you do. We’ve also added a new member to our design studio; everyone say hi to Roxanne! See what we have been loving this week… ♥

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a fabulous day. We are hosting a new giveaway this week – our The Kitten’s Meow Collection. Let us know what you would create with our adorable collection for a chance to win!
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a gorgeous quilt pattern designed by Nicole Maroon of The Girl Who Quilts. The Diamonds Quilt is a lovely quilt pattern, featuring columns of octagon and diamond shapes. Each block features a different pattern, and the outline allows for a beautiful gradient effect of colors.
We love the idea of sticking to a synonymous color palette, such as the sea-inspired blue and green hues of our Zoey collection, so as to keep a harmonious look. We chose the grey SKUs from Zoey to create the bordered ombre effect; dark to light to dark again, and LOVE how it turned out. Nicole of The Girl Who Quilts designed this modern quilt pattern for us, and also quilted it for our Spring Quilt Market booth. It is such a pretty pattern digitally, but seeing it in person – it is a stunner!
We want to thank Nicole for designing such a beautiful quilt design, and for quilting it for us for Quilt Market. You are amazing!! You can find more from Nicole, and all of her quilting wonders, on her website. You can also create your very own Diamonds Quilt; here is the free printable PDF. Have a lovely day!

It was a nice day out too, so it was the perfect day for a trip to the pool or a picnic at a local park. Taking time to enjoy the people who mean the most to you, doing even the simplest of things, is one of the most rewarding things in life. We love love. See what has been inspiring us this week… ♥

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday!! I hope you all are having a fabulous day. And just in case you’re looking for an excuse to eat some sweet stuff today (we always are haha ;)), it’s National Strawberry Parfait Day! Yummm.
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our gorgeous quilt patterns, designed by Marta of From Marta With Love. Marta’s modern and fun quilt pattern features boho-inspired arrow details that go both vertically and horizontally. It creates such a cool look, while keeping the rest of the quilt neutral, to really make the arrow designs pop. This quilt pattern would work with a multitude of different fabric collections, but we just love it in our Gypsy Lane by Jane Farnham collection.
One of our display sections at this Spring’s Quilt Market was Gypsy Lane. We wanted a standout quilt design to feature this bold and whimsical collection, and knew Chevron Arrows was the winner. Another of our pattern designers Nikki Maroon of The Quilt Who Quilts and her mum, were able to quilt it for us, and did an incredible job. Just look at the quilting work on this quilt? We were speechless when we saw it in person. Absolutely stunning.
Thank you so much, Nikki and mom, for helping us out for Quilt Market. We are so in love with our Chevron Arrows Quilt, and are so blessed to work with such incredibly, talented people. Be sure to check out more from Nikki on her blog. She is such a quilting pro. If you’d like to make your own Chevron Arrows, it’s also available as a free pattern on our website. And with that, have an awesome day!
