Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a great day! Today is National Doughnut Appreciation Day… so get to appreciating and have a doughnut! ;)
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our lovely sewers who made some projects for our Fall Quilt Market booth, Denita Walker of HattieLu Handmade. Denita is a sewing and fabric enthusiast, who shares her latest creations on her blog and has an Etsy Shop to sell her goodies. We were connected with Denita as a Pattern Revolution contributor, and had an amazing time working with this lovely gal. She sewed two projects for our booth – the first, a stylish two-piece dress – the Vanamo Dress by Named – with our Nordic Collection. It was truly a stand-out piece in our Nordic section, and our “Val” mannequin was rockin’ it!
Denita also sewed the super cool London Backpack by UpCraftClub with our new The Alchemy: Indigo Collection. We adore the vegan leather she chose, which is a perfect compliment to the blue hues of the Alchemy prints.
Thank you so much for being such an incredible person to work with, Denita!! Our booth was fabulous, and we have you to thank for that. Have a fantastic rest of the day, everyone!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope everyone is having a good one. It’s a bit gloomy here today, but we are excited because tomorrow is Hallow’s Eve!!
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring some projects we had done for our Fall Quilt Market booth. Melissa of Sew Bittersweet Designs sewed a couple of outfits with our Mickey Mouse & Friends collection that are just the sweetest!! The first is the Hummingbird Dress, pattern by RabbitRabbitCreation, that we chose to feature with our adorable Minnie Mouse, red print. A more “playful” outfit is the Sweet Comfy Romper by Puperita Patterns – our primary-colored print was the perfect choice! As well, our Teeny Tiny Tunic (a free pattern on our website!) was so cute in the Minnie colors – especially how the pockets looked like teeny Minnie Mouses!
Finally, Melissa also sewed the children’s Kimono Sleeve Romper by SalmePatterns! The grey Mickey Mouse & Friends print makes this little romper cool and stylish, while still being fun and comfortable!
Melissa did such an incredible job sewing these outfits for us, is always such a sweetheart to work with, and we thank her for making our Mickey Mouse & Friends booth all the more special!! You can find more from Melissa on her blog and Instagram. Stay tuned for lots more from Quilt Market! Have a good day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! We have been launching our Fall 2015 Collections this week! Let us know which ones are your favorite so far :)
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring an Canadian-based Etsy shop – Barabooboo Designs – dedicated to handmade, high-quality, and beautiful wallets, handbags, and totes. Michelle, owner and creative behind Barabooboo Designs, started handstitching at the age of 5… and never looked back. She is a fabric buyer, collector, and sewer and adores working with fun, modern fabric prints. After spending 14 years as a floral designer, she went back to her true passion – sewing – and started Barabooboo Designs.
She recently launched a couple of bags featuring our Elixir collection, and we just had to share!! The first is the gorgeous Lantana Shoulder Bag, the second the lovely Jada clutch – both patterns by Blue Calla. We adore how she mixed a soft gray fabric with our Elixir print. So pretty!
Thank you for the fabric love, Michelle!! We are obsessed with your Elixir bags. You can find more from Barabooboo Designs on Facebook, Etsy, and Instagram. Have a terrific day, y’all!!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a marvelous day!!
On to this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are sharing a project featured in the Sew Fabricated Quilt Shop – our Boxy Tunic sewn by the lovely Jess Zim. To showcase our Paradise by Alisse Courter collection, they chose our Boxy Tunic (a free pattern on our website!) as the front liner, and wow – does it look fantastic in person!! They chose the purple, medallion print for the bodice, the floral damask print for sleeve and hem details, and even added POCKETS!! An addition by Jess, that we absolutely adore. The dress is so cute, and makes for a wonderful walk-in to greet customers.
This dress definitely made us take a double-turn look when we saw it on Instragam!! Jess did an amazing job in creating the Boxy Dress, and we hope she had fun sewing with our pattern!
Thank you so much, Jess and Sew Fabricated, for the pattern and fabric love!! We want a dress of our own – pockets included!! ;) Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a great day! Did you see yesterday’s Winsday post? Enter to win 3 yards of our soft and cuddly Bambino fabric!
On to this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a lovely Australian-based online pattern shop, Tadah! Patterns. Tadah! Patterns evolved from Lauren Harris’ (owner and creative behind the brand!) love for sewing and want of creating clothing that is both comfortable and beautiful for little ones to wear. She loves timeless styles, with a modern twist, which she uses as influences in her patterns. She is passionate about sewing, which definitely can be seen in her gorgeous, easy-to-follow patterns. Her goal is to design patterns that fun to sew, but that result in professional quality garments.
One of Lauren’s latest patterns is the Tea Party Dress. The Tea Party Dress pattern is a darling little dress, that includes over 190 unique combinations – from sleeve, neckline, skirt length, skirt type, accessories, and more! The Tea Party Dress pattern allows for you to customize the perfect dress for your little one, whether it be for a day to the park or for a wedding! Additionally, the pattern includes sizes from 6 months to 8 years old, and is great for medium-skilled sewers.
Laura of LauraCreates, sewed a version of the Tea Part Dress for her daughter, Harriet, during pattern testing with our Peacock Garden by Jane Farnham Collection. This dress features a full skirt, half-cap sleeves, and a scoop back. Her little one looks oh-so precious in her new party dress, and she is ready to dazzle and dance!
Too adorable, right? Thank you for choosing our fabric, Laura!! You can find the pattern for the Tea Party Dress here, as well as more from Laura on her Instagram. Have a great rest of the day!!
