Hi everyone!
Happy Friday! We hope everyone is having a fantastic day. It’s almost the weekend!! Three days into the new year, and we are feeling great. So ecstatic and happy for all the amazing things to come in the new year. What is everyone’s plans for the upcoming weekend? It’s the first weekend after the holidays, so we think a sit-down by the fire with a good book sounds just about right.
Today is Fan Friday on the blog, and we’ve got another great person to share. Coral, quilter and crafter (we adore her already!), shared with us her “Boldly Go” pillows with us using our Star Trek fabric and we absolutely love them! After Coral’s sister-in-law saw an advertisement of Star Trek fabric at a local quilt shop in Australia, Coral thought it would make a great project idea. She bought the fabric, used Design Sponge’s Pillow Tutorial, and thus two Trek-worthy pillows were created!
She designed one with our Blue Space fabric, and one with our Characters fabric. Coral and her mother-in-law bonded over their mutual love for Star Trek (both big Trekkies…though her mother-in-law prefers the newer series to the original), and will be gifting them to her for her birthday in January! Check out the pillows below:
Thank you so much Coral for sharing your amazing projects with us, and for allowing us to share them! We are so happy that, as a true Trekkie, you adore our Star Trek fabric! You can check out Coral on Twitter. Thank you so much for reading today’s Fan Friday. Happy Weekend everyone!
Happy Sewing!

Hi everyone!
October has officially come to an end…Happy November! We are SO excited for all the holiday excitement and cheer that will soon be encapsulating the frosty air. Our November To-Do List includes listening to holiday music (never too early!), baking lots of pumpkin and apple pie, sitting by the fireplace with a good book, supporting all the men participating in Movember, and of course, starting to decorate the office with a garland…or two! And to kick-start this wonderful November, it’s time for another Fan Friday.
Today we are featuring two projects by Another Eternity using our Star Wars fabric…a zippered pillow and a drawstring bag! Check below for some pictures:
They are super well done, and the perfect projects for any Star Wars enthusiast! Thank you so much, Another Eternity, for sharing your Star Wars projects with us!!
If you have created a project using any of our fabrics and would love to be featured in a future Fan Friday post, please email us at info@camelotfabrics.com or @mention us on twitter. We LOVE seeing all of you incredible projects using our fabric designs!
Happy Sewing!

Hi everyone!
Welcome to another Fan Friday post!! This also means that today is Friday…the last day before the weekend (hooray!!). Let’s celebrate the last day of the work week by sharing another amazing fan project with you all.
Erin Erickson recently shared with us her Two Zip Hipster Bag using one of our Star Wars fabric designs. When we clicked on the link and saw the picture, we instantly fell head over heels for the bag (and using our fabric, nonetheless!) – we just had to share!!
[Quoted by Erin on her blog: I love Camelot Fabrics. Camelot are you listening? You make my geeky side so happy! – You made us super happy. We LOVE hearing all of your positive feedback so to that we say a big thank you Erin for the love!! <3]
Erin is the pattern maker and founder of Dog Under My Desk PDF Sewing Patterns. She has fantastic, easy-to-follow patterns for all your bag needs (daytripper, makeup, lunch, and more!). You can check them all out in her store by clicking here! Erin also has a correlating blog where she posts informative and creative tutorials, interfacing and pattern tips, giveaways, and fun updates.
Erin made her Two Zip Hipster Bag for one of her friends, Lisa, who is a big Star Wars fan and she chose our Star Wars Blue Schematic fabric for it! Lisa wanted her bag to be iPad-friendly, so Erin made the bag pattern a bit bigger…and tada! It came out looking pretty fantastic. You can check out the full post on the bag here. Now on to some pictures!!

Hi everyone!
TGIF!! Wishing everyone a lovely Friday, and a Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all our fellow Canadians! Here at Camelot Fabrics, we have much to be thankful for…especially all of those who love our fabrics as much as we do! Seeing all the amazing and unique projects created using our fabrics truly make our days.
Today’s Fan Friday features the wonderfully talented Beth, and her lovely Geek-a-Bye Baby team!
Geek-a-Bye Baby started out as Beth’s quest for the perfect baby bedding (aka pirate monkeys…umm, how awesome!!) for the dream of a pirate monkeys-themed nursery. After no such luck on bedding, she decided to look for some pirate monkey fabric to bring her vision to life. Once her little one was born, she went all out making adorable “geek-worthy” blankies for her, and after many positive comments from strangers on starting up her own shop to sell them…she did! And thus, Geek-a-Bye Baby was born…and has only been growing wonderfully since! Geek-a-Bye Baby now carries a wide-range of “geeky” baby items, from burp cloths to sweet crocheted hats to custom bedding.
We are so honored to be one of Beth’s fabric choices for her designs! Seeing our Star Trek and Star Wars fabrics created into darling bedding sheets and baby bibs makes our hearts swoon. We think once you see them, you will feel the same. Here are some of our personal favorites:
