Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a lovely day!

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! We wanted to share a couple more Quilt Market projects that were sewn for us, for our booth. We were connected with Larissa Gibbs – a wonderful blogger and pattern designer – this year, and she sewed three projects for our Quilt Market With Love section. The first project we chose for With Love is the Seamwork’s Adelaide dress – a casual tank dress with a waist-tie. We decided the vintage-inspired scrolls print would be perfect for this dress!

The next is Swoon Pattern’s Blanche Barrel bag, which with With Love by Jack!e McFee, makes for a very sweet and feminine gym or shopping tote. The final project was a bow clutch, pattern by ConstructivePatterns. We chose the fun hearts print for this one, and matched with the funky bow detail, love how it turned out!!

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a lovely week – and are ready for some fun this weekend!!

Ending a great week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a gorgeous bag sewn by Valerie Higgins of Eldra Ann Designs. Valerie chose Swoon Sewing Pattern‘s Vivian Traveler Diaper Bag pattern to create this wonderful bag for a friend. She included the additional pockets and one long exterior pocket for a diaper changing pad. She decided to feature our Gray Matters by Jack!e McFee collection, with its vibrant yellow and grey tones, to create a modern and feminine diaper bag. Valerie also mentioned that she “loved making this bag, mostly because [she] never got tired of looking at these beautiful fabrics”. Aww, thanks Valerie!!

Ohhhhhh, the inside lining is just as pretty and fun!!

Thank you, Valerie, for the fabric love. We are also big fans of Swoon Sewing Patterns, so it was great to see our Gray Matters made into one of her bags. We hope your friend enjoys her new bag! Happy Friday! I hope you all had a fantastic week – so excited and ready for the weekend!! :)

Time to end a great week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a fun Coraline Laptop Bag by Valerie Higgins of Eldra Ann Designs. Eldra Ann Designs is a small Etsy shop that Valerie started last year, as a way to share her fun project creations. Sewing is something she learnt from her mom and grandmothers, and now is an enjoyable hobby that helps relieve the daily stress (oh, we can so relate!). She said that she can get lost into a project, way into the night, but loves every minute of it. She opened up Eldra Ann Designs to share with others, specifically creating custom orders for people.

One of the custom orders Valerie received was for a laptop bag. She used an altered version of Swoon Patterns‘ (one of our faves!) Dakota Bag and used our Coraline by Camelot Design Studio collection as the main fabric, including a fun interior and strap detailing. We love the use of the coral pattern, while keeping the rest of the bag neutral with a gray fabric. The bag is finished with two hidden snaps, and makes for the perfect, stylish bag for carrying your laptop – either to work or school!

Happy Tuesday!! I hope you all are doing fabulously. Quilt Market weekend is officially over, and we’re back to work today. A bittersweet moment, but we have so many incredible memories from the show that we will forever cherish. What a great Quilt Market!

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring the stunning Glenda Clutch Pattern by Swoon Patterns, with our Coraline by Camelot Design Studio collection. Coraline is feminine and cool collection of coral, navy, and grey hues in bold geometric patterns. This modern and girly collection would make for the perfect decor for a little girl’s room, complete with tabbed curtains and tossed pillows! The patterns are also wonderful for accessories – a cute cropped jacket or clutch (like the Glenda clutch).

The Glenda Clutch is perfect for a Girl’s Night Out – it perfectly fits your wallet, powder and lipstick, and your phone in a cute little clutch. The simple snap detail gives the clutch a clean feel, with a detachable shoulder strap. We chose a subdued grey drops pattern, and a fun surprise of coral inside. Such a stand-out clutch!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a great day. As well, Happy Cinco de Mayo, to those who celebrate!

On to this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring another awesome Swoon Patterns project that we had sewn in-house, with our Elixir Collection. Our Elixir Collection is packed with bold purple, navy, and mint hues in fun geometric patterns. The freshness of this collection makes for beautiful accessory and clothing pieces because they add happy pops of color to anything! We decided to use Elixir to create Swoon Pattern’s Vivian Handbag & Traveler.

The large-sized bag would make for the perfect baby bag or weekender tote. The pockets, one located on each side, make for a convenient spot for a baby or water bottle, and the double straps make it easy to carry around. We chose a fun triangle geometric pattern for the body and a more muted, broken herringbone design for the handles and outer shell – a great combination that is playful, but still neutral! We love how this Vivian bag turned out!!
