And finally… we’re so excited to finally be able to share this collection with you – Batman V Superman!! Our Batman V Superman collection is in conjunction with the much anticipated film coming March, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The two superheros go head-to-head to battle it out, but must put aside differences and work together to save the world. Our Batman V Superman Collection showcases the two superheroes-in-action, along with the beautiful Wonder Woman and Justice League. The colors are dark and mysterious, but encompass the mood between the superheroes.

Put on your swirling cape – jet black or red – and you’ll be ready to conquer the world… or at least the day ahead! And then come home to your haven. Spruce up your Batcave with logo-shaped throw pillows in sleek grey and black, and a matching quilt.

To start off another great week, we have our Moody Monday to inspire you. Today we are going to share with you our DC Comics Originals moodboard. Our DC Comics Originals collection is the ultimate fabric line for all the DC comics enthusiasts who also love to sew (…or know of someone who can hehe!). This collection brings together all of your favorite DC comics characters – Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and Flash – in a multitude of vibrant and dynamic designs and prints.

We picture a fun quilt with this collection, as well as t-shirt patches of each DC comic character, and a modern bag design! The possibilities are endless, and can fit the style of all DC Comics fans of all ages everywhere!! You can check out the full collection here.

The DC movie Superman vs. Batman, set to launch in 2016, has been getting a lot of buzz lately on the storyline…and more importantly, who will be playing who! DC Comics has not yet released any set plot information to the public yet, but from the title we can assume there will be a storyline focused on the two superheroes in some way. DC Comics has released most of the actors and actresses set to play the superheroes: Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. This film will include all your favorite DC Comics characters, just like in our fabric collection!

There has been lots of discussion amongst fans on the chosen parts, namely Batman and Wonder Woman – What do you think about the chosen cast? We are SUPER excited for this movie to launch – We are happy with the cast members and cannot wait to see the movie ourselves. We cannot wait for all the action and drama, we know it’s going to be an amazing movie! :)

It’s Friday!! We hope that you have all had a fabulous week. Some things we are looking forward to this weekend are mastering the perfect mini apple tartlets, creating a playlist of upbeat old-and-new holiday songs, DIYing something (or everything!) with glitter, and taking a lovely afternoon walk in the brisk but beautiful fall weather. What are your plans for the weekend?

For today’s Fan Friday, we are sharing with you a project by Sondra Blank. She used our Superman Man of Steel flannel to create a super-hero worthy crib sheet for her little one. The mattress cover is brilliant, and our Superman flannel design fits perfectly with her boy’s blue and green color-schemed bedroom. This is one crib sheet that would make any superhero-in-training happy!

Hello everyone!

First of all, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Whether you are all decked out in a fabulous costume today or going out with the little ones for Trick-or-Treating, we wish you a boo-tiful and safe Halloween!

Being that today is Thursday…it is also Thankful Thursday! Today we have decided to take the time to thank one fantastic and vivacious lady, the beautiful Mdm Samm from Sew We Quilt. Mdm Samm has been such a wonderful supporter to us, has created many amazing projects for her blog using our fabrics, and overall has been the best cheerleader! We absolutely adore her!!

Here are some of her projects:

…Using our Simply Fashionista fabric, Mdm Samm created the most darling sewing bag (named the Tammy Bag) and a sweet thread catcher to match. We just adore the ruffles!!

As well, Mdm Samm sewed the perfect, hero-worthy quilt using our  Man of Steel fabric for her eldest who is a big Superman fan!! It is absolutely amazing, and would make any Superman fan swoon! We also featured her quilt in a past Fan Friday, which you can check out here.

And this is just the beginning! We are so ecstatic to be working with Mdm Samm and there is lots more to come. It’s officially Friday!! Hope everyone has had a wonderful week. October has sneakingly crept up on us (Seriously can’t believe we’re already into October!)…but we’ve been happily busy with the official launch of our blog, our Fall 2013 Collections, and getting ready for Quilt Market. We’ve got lots happening, but excited for all the incredible things to come!
