Hi everyone,
Happy Monday!! We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Did anyone work on any fun projects? We would love to see! If you create a project with one of our Free Projects or fabric collections, we would LOVE to see! You can always send your pictures to info@camelotfabrics.com, and you might be featured in a future Fan Friday blog post :)
To start off another great week, we’ve got this week’s Moody Monday to inspire you. Today we are sharing our Pastel Me More by Camelot Design Studio Collection from our latest Summer 2014 collections. Pastel Me More is a fun, upbeat, and girly collection of beautiful…yup, you guessed it, pastels. Pinks, greys, blue, and yellow come together to create wonderful swirl of geometric and floral patterns. With a mod-flair, these colors are perfect for spring and summer – throw on your favorite oversized sunnies, large floppy hat, and an adorable pastel dress and you will be all set for a picnic in the park or sunset bike ride! You can check out the full collection of our Pastel Me More Collection here, as well as its accompanying free project ideas.
We were definitely inspired by Alexander Lewis‘ Resort 2015 Collection – full of sweet, pastel-y hues, mod-inspired cuts and silhouettes, and pretty patterns…we lovelovelove this one. It definitely reminds us of our Pastel Me More collection, so girly and vintage-inspired with a modern twist. We can never get enough pastels for the spring and summer! Some of our favorites are this one and this one, but be sure to check out the full collection here!
We hope that you enjoyed this week’s Moody Monday and got inspired by all of the pretty colors and patterns. You can see the full collection of Pastel Me More here – we’d love to know which your favorite design is. Have a wonderful day, everyone! :)
Happy Sewing!

It’s the LAST DAY of our Summer 2014 Collections Launch Week!! We hope that you have been enjoying the four collections we have launched this week: Paddington Bear, It’s a Birds’ Life, London Fog, and Pastel Me More!! We’d love to know what you think and which is your favorite. Be sure to check out the full collections on our website, as well as their coordinating free projects and blog posts.
The last collection that we are going to share with you for Summer 2014 is our Opposites Attract by Jackie McFee Collection! Opposites Attract is striped down to the ‘basics’ of black and white – two colors that may be overlooked when it comes to ‘what your favorite color is’, but are the most used and loved. Black and white are minimalist and simple colors, but together create a very classic and modern feel in our Opposites Attract Collection. Using the basics, it allows you to be more creative and have more fun when it comes to texture, design, and patterns; our Opposite’s Attract does just that, letting its patterns speak for themselves.
We love wearing a black or white outfit, and then adding a pop of color in our accessories or shoes…or wearing a bright colored dress and toning it down with a black & white clutch. We love the idea of a black and white quilt, table runner, or pillow, because it allows you to have fun with your room decor and your quilt will always match! We absolutely adore this Diamond Sparkle Quilt by The Quilted Button with our Opposites Attract Collection.
We really hope you like our Opposites Attract by Jackie McFee Collection!! What is your favorite color? Check out all the free projects and complete collection on our website. And, be sure to check out our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for lots more. We hope we have enjoyed our Summer 2014 Collections Launch Week!! We’d love to know which is your favorite :)

Today, we have got our fourth collection to share…Pastel Me More by Camelot Design Studio!! Our Pastel Me More Collection is the epitome of all things girly, pretty, flirty, and of course, pastel! What could be better on a warm Summer’s day than a bike ride with friends (pastel vintage bicycles of course!) wearing your favorite tea dresses, and ending the day with some yummy sorbet? Or maybe a pink & sprinkled donut…or both? We could definitely concur to an afternoon like that! Pastel Me More is a feminine collection of soft pink, yellow, grey, and blue hues together to create gorgeous floral and geometric patterns. This collection reminds us a sweet, bakery shop so we love the idea of a confectionery-filled Summer party – cupcakes, cookies, donuts, macaroons, and cotton candy – decorated with a pastel-hued table runner and matching napkins. Such a fun (and yummy) idea!
Our Pastel Me More is such a fun and vibrant collection that could liven any room or space! We love the idea of a neutral room with a punch of color, such as a Pastel Me More pillow or quilt. We adore this Box Trot Quilt by Chris Hoover of Whirligig Designs:
We would love to know what you think about our Pastel Me More Collection!! What would your favorite confectionery to indulge in? :) It would definitely be a toss up between cotton candy, cookies, and donuts at the Camelot Design Studio. Check out all the free projects and complete collection on our website. Be sure to check out our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for lots more. If you imagine all the things you love most about nature, a perfect and scenic day, that is what It’s a Bird’s Life is all about. This collection is beautiful and whimsical, enchanted by gorgeous floral designs and adorable birdies. There is something wonderfully majestic about being able to run freely through an abundance of colorful blooms. The colors in this collection are soft and cheerful hues of turquoise, red, grey, and yellow making It’s a Bird’s Life feminine and vintage-esque.
We can imagine a mother-daughter duo with matching voluminous skirts and floral crowns, or a floral infused living room with a It’s a Bird’s Life table runner and pillows. A little girl would be super cute in a It’s a Bird’s Life jumper, and she’s got to have her own little purse too, of course! Also, how stunning would a floral and bird-themed quilt be? :)
