Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. It’s the last day to enter our special, “Jackie McFee’s Website Got a Makeover” Giveaway…so head on over to her Instagram to win a Neon & On FQB!
Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are sharing a beautiful crossbody tutorial: our Polygon Bag by Made by Marion. Our Polygon Bag is a clean, two-toned foldover design that features a long body strap, grommet details, and an interior zipper to hold your essentials. The straps can easily be removed, so it can also be used as a “night on the town” clutch. Its simple and lightweight design will make it your new, throw-on-and-go bag. We chose to use two mustard print from our Heirloom collection for the bag’s shell, which gave the Polygon bag a classic and rich feel!
A gorgeous crossbody bag that is perfect for yourself, and as gifts! Want to make your very own Polygon Bag? Click MORE to see the full tutorial.

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Woke up to quite the dreary and wet morning, but it’s National Best Friends Day! So call all of your best girlies to let them know just how much they mean to you. Cause let’s face it, our lives would definitely not be as much fun without them!
Time for this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are featuring one of our Spring 2015 collections, Make a Wish by Alisse Courter. Make a Wish is a very pretty and ethereal collection of fluttery feathers and blossoms in lavender, mint, gray, and grapefruit hues. It reminds us of running through a field of beautiful blooms, barefoot and wearing a lightweight frock, cascaded by the warm sunrise. This dreamy collection is also available in our double gauze, a lightweight fabric perfect for swaddle blankets and summery scarves.
Let’s get inspired by the runway! Valentino’s Spring Couture Collection was dreamy and soft, with lots of billowy fabrics and flowing dresses. Feminine florals and jewels adorn each dress, complete with ethereal capes and princess sleeves. We can imagine all of these dresses in a princesses wardrobe, all ready to picked for the next affair. One dress that especially caught our eyes was this dress, that was reminiscent of our Make a Wish Collection. Such a stunning collection!
We hope we have inspired you with this week’s Moody Monday! We’d love to know what trends you have been loving for the season. Have a fantastic day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday!! I hope everyone is having a great day!! Jackie McFee relaunched her website yesterday with a makeover, and we are celebrating with a giveaway!! We’re giving away a Neon & On FQ Bundle on her Instagram, so be sure to head on over to enter (click me!).
It’s time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a wonderful quilt and bag pattern design team, Krista and Shayla of Sassafras Lane Designs. Their name was inspired by the street name where their Orange Studio is located, and famous streets continue to inspire their quilt pattern names – so fun! They are BIG fans of lots of color and prints, especially anything orange (also, hence their studio name!). Their bag and quilt patterns are modern and fun, drawing inspiration from their friends & family, and everything around them.
They launched a new quilt pattern this week called Canyon Boulevard for Spring. A gorgeous and beginner-medium skilled quilt, the pattern comes with two versions – one with string-piecing and one with a background & assorted scraps. As well, the quilt pattern includes three sizes for versatility and convenience! The girls also gave a neat explanation behind the quilt, which you can read in their blog post. They chose to feature one of the quilts in our Fruit Stand by Jane Farnham collection, and adore the contrasting colors with white. The triangle cutouts at the bottom are such a lovely detail, which makes this quilt all the more unique and cool!
Thank you for the fabric love, Krista and Shayla!! We are so in love with the quilt, and think it looks beautiful with Fruit Stand. You can find the pattern for Canyon Boulevard on their website (available in both PDF and paper versions), as well as their blog, Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram. And with that, have an awesome day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We got a mix of super hot weather on Saturday…but then a dreary, cold day on Sunday – no winning with this season!
Kicking off the first day of June with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring one of our Spring 2015 collections, Emilia by the Camelot Design Studio. Emilia is soft and feminine, combining pink, purple, peach, and grey together to create a wonderfully girly palette. The bold, sorbet prints of Emilia are perfect for a little girl’s bedroom or for a true girly-girl’s wardrobe essentials. As well, some of our Emilia prints are also available in our double gauze – perfect for a lightweight scarf!
A coincidence? Emilia Wickstead’s Fall 2015 RTW collection was absolutely stunning, combining soft muted colors with sleek, feminine silhouettes. Every dress had a fantastical flow to it, each something Lauren Bacall would have easily been seen wearing. And let us not forget about the color palette – pastels, such as yellow, blue, and purple were used to give soft textures to each piece. We were especially head over heels for this dress and print, which were very reminiscent of our Emilia collection.
We hope you have enjoyed our Moody Monday today! We love finding these little bits of weekly inspiration, and hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Have a marvelous day!
Happy Sewing!
