Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a fabulous day. It’s National High Five Day, so here’s a high five from us haha! *virtual high five*
It’s time for this week’s Thankful Thursday on the blog. Today we are featuring one of our favorite ribbon enthusiasts, May Arts Ribbon! May Arts Ribbon started out in the early 80s in Riverside, Connecticut, and is a family-owned and operated company. They started out by producing high-quality silk flowers that were decorated with pretty ribbons. The ribbons became such a big hit, that May Arts eventually became a dedicated ribbon wholesaler. They have now expanded their selection of beautiful ribbons, from lace to 100% silk to other fun trims & embellishments. We especially adore their pom-poms and scalloped trim! From their solid, bright colors to their funky patterns, we are such fans of May Arts’ ribbon selection – they’re great to pair with our fabric projects (…we’ll be sharing some with you soon!).
We decided to do a fun, crafty swap with May Arts Ribbon! They recently posted a lovely Vintage Style Apron tutorial, featuring their ribbon and our Folklore Collection – and we adore it! Charlene Driggs created this easy apron tutorial for the May Arts Ribbon blog, a project that any leveled sewer could master and have fun with. The hardest part comes from choosing a favorite fabric and ribbon, and from there – a bit of sewing and you’re done! In the end, you’ll have a super cute apron – with an adorable bow detail – for your next cooking or baking adventure. Love this one! You can find the full, free tutorial on their blog.
How pretty, right? :) You can find all of your ribbon and trim needs at May Arts Ribbon. As well, be sure to find more fun projects on their blog, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Thanks so much, May Arts Ribbon, for the awesome tutorial and for sharing. We can’t wait to share what we’ve got planned with our new ribbon! Have an awesome day, everyone. I know I will…psst. it’s my birthday ;) hehe

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! We hope you are having a lovely day. It’s another gorgeously, sunny day out today – a little cooler than yesterday, but Spring weather has officially arrived!! Goodbye puffy coats, goodbye heavy boots haha.
Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring another one of our lovely quilt designs, this week’s by Stephanie Palmer of Late Night Quilter. Stephanie created her blog, Late Night Quilter, because that is what she started out as – working full-time during the day (as well as being a full-time mama), and quilting at night. Such a cute name. As she started to get more involved in the quilting world, her blog and brand quickly grew…and she saw herself being more in the quilting industry.
Now, along with her friend Michelle, they run Late Night Quilter – a long arm quilting service and pattern design company based in Austin, Texas. Their style is cool and modern, just like our fabric designs, so we knew they would be a great fit from the start! For our Free Projects Program, Stephanie created her Summer of the Sound Quilt, featuring It’s a Bird’s Life by Heather Rosas, which truly showcases the pretty greens and pinks in this collection. The star designs make this quilt truly unique, and would make a fantastic bed quilt or wall decor. Just stunning!

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday!! Welcome back to another week on the blog! It was such a beautiful weekend here, our first official “Spring-like” day. I spent it strolling along some cool neighborhoods, and took in the sun with some delicious iced tea. It was perfect!
Time to start off the week with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring another of our Mixology prints – our collections of blending fabrics, that match perfectly with our colors and collections. Tonic is our bubbly dots print, the scattered mini dots making it a perfect blending print for any of your projects – whether it be a bag, pillow, or quilt! From neutrals to pops of colors, Tonic has a color that would suit you. As well, we recently launched a couple of new Fresh Solids in our collection, including Orange Soda and Minty – which are also in Tonic prints!
Thakoon’s Spring 2015 RTW Collection features fun mixes of white and black, in different patterns and textures – with fun pops of burgundy and aqua. Thakoon stayed true to his classic, suit silhouette with a twist. He shared beautiful chiffon dresses, in chiffon and satin fabrics, that flowed effortlessly as the models walked. All of Thakoon’s pieces definitely reminded us of a cool trip to the Mediterranean. His dotted dress was reminiscent of our Tonal print in black; we loved the mix of different dot sizes in the dress. So pretty!
We hope we have inspired you with today’s post! We’d love to know what you’re most excited to be rocking for the warmer weather. Have a great day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week. Ending our week with a rainy, gloomy day…but at least it’s above O°C, and the following week is supposed to be lovely :)
It’s time for this week’s Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a fantastic Easter project we found on Instagram, that Lish Dorset made. She created an awesome Easter basket, filled with yummy goodies, using our Star Wars Comic Strip fabric!! This basket would be the BEST kind of Easter basket for any Star Wars enthusiast, including the boy that she made it for. And our Star Wars patch-like design was a great choice, because even on its own, it’s fun and bright for a project.
Thank you so much for the tag, Lish! And thank you for the fabric love. We always love seeing projects, so if you use one of our collections or free projects, we’d love to see! You can tag us on Instagram, like Lish, or send us a picture at info@camelotfabrics.com. Have an awesome weekend!!
