Ending our week with a fantastic Fan Friday! Quilter’s Cupboard Iowa is an awesome quilt shop dedicated to all things fabric and sewing, naturally. They offer amazing project ideas, finished samples, and a wide range in styles of fabric to choose from. They also offer all of your sewing machine needs, from personalized training to extensive knowledge on your machine. For even more, they offer an e-newsletter with lots of fun tips & exciting news, organize sewing events, and have an online store. What makes them even more awesome? They sell Camelot Fabrics! ;)

They shared a beautiful quilt on their Instagram, with our Cove Collection, and we fell in love!! This Chinese Coins Quilt is made by Cozy Quilt Designsand features our beach-inspired prints of blue, grey, and white in a linear, modern design. We think it is stunning, especially with the grey border detail! We are so glad you shared your quilt with us, Quilter’s Cupboard Iowa :)

Happy Thursday! We hope everyone is having a terrific day so far. We are inching closer to the weekend, which means it’s just about Quilt Market time!! Today we are bringing to you our Thankful Thursday! We are featuring an amazing quilting magazine, the only Canadian quilt-based read… Quilter’s Connection Magazine! Quilter’s Connection is all about sharing the latest and greatest there is in the quilting world, from new fabric collections to featured project tutorials to perfecting techniques. They will share upcoming, Canadian quilt shows and festivals, and share their current favorite fabrics, notions, and supplies. They have a lovely mix of quilt projects in both modern and more classic fabrics. As well, because they are Canadian-based and proud, they like to highlight Canadian companies and designers…a wonderful treat for fellow Canadian, sewing enthusiasts! And as their motto goes, “we are a truly Canadian magazine – for quilters, by quilters.”

Quilter’s Connection featured our Fresh Solids in their latest issue for Fall 2014 in their “Favourite Finds” Section. Our stack looks oh-so pretty in print, almost as lovely as they do in real life. We are so thrilled that Quilter’s Connection adores our Fresh Solids Collection! And as a bonus, we’re also Canadian…so it is even more special to be featured in a home-based publication for quilting!

Happy Thursday!! We hope you are all having a wonderful day so far. We are getting excited for the long weekend as it will be Canadian Thanksgiving. Our tummies are rumbling just thinking about all the delicious food – pumpkin pie, turkey, cranberry sauce, and of course, mashed potatoes! YUM!!

It’s time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring Quilters’ Digest, a fantastic full-color newspaper that is published four times a year, and is exclusively available in quilt shops. Quilters’ Digest is dedicated to providing up-to-date and forecasting information, inspiration, & ideas for the quilting hobbyists. Each issue features free patterns, readers’ quilt projects, fascinating fabric-related books, new fabric collections, & some other tips, tricks, and facts!

Readers can also contribute their thoughts and ideas to the column features, and provide feedback on what they would like to see next. It’s such a great source for up-to-date information for fabric enthusiasts, and best of all? It’s free!

Quilters’ Digest chose to feature our Girl Power II Collection in their latest issue (Issue #11), in their “New Fabric Collections” section, and we were so pleasantly surprised! It’s always fun seeing our collections being shared with fellow fabric enthusiasts, and seeing what everyone thinks. Quilters’ Digest wrote up a little feature on our Girl Power II collection saying that “this action-packed 14-piece collection will be a knock-out for the super hero girls in your life” – so cute, and we couldn’t agree more!
