Happy Thursday! I hope you are all having a wonderful day. We are having another lovely and sunshine-filled afternoon! We are starting to count down the days until Spring Quilt Market, which is about three weeks away!! We are super excited! We are going to be at booth 1425, so be sure to stop by and say hello if you see us! :)

To get us all the Spring mood, we have got our Thankful Thursday to share with you all. Today we are featuring Audrey & Diane of The Cloth Parcel, one of our quilt designers, who created the amazing Tumbling Jewels Quilt for us. Audrey and Diane are the creative duo behind The Cloth Parcel, and they also happen to be a mother-daughter team! The Cloth Parcel is an online shop dedicated to quilting, sewing, and crafting supplies, including quilt patterns & kits. As well, they have an accompanying blog with craft ideas, sewing techniques, project ideas, and so much more!

Tumbling Jewels is an absolutely stunning quilt design, and as the name suggests, makes the quilt look like it is “dripping in jewels”. A combination of triangles and squares pieced together, Tumbling Jewels fits perfectly with our Penelope Collection. Although a mixture of different prints and designs, the coordinating colors allow for a seamless look.

This is going to be one of our featured quilts at Spring Quilt Market, and we are so thrilled because it is going to be a “wow” piece! The girls at The Cloth Parcel sewed this quilt for us, and featured it on their blog. We are going to be getting it in the mail any day now, but seeing the pictures makes us all that more excited!! It definitely screams “fresh and springtime happiness” to us…we just cannot to see it in person!

Thank you SO much to the lovely ladies at The Cloth Parcel for creating a spectacular quilt design for us, and for taking the time to sew the physical quilt. It is just breathtaking! We are so thankful for your partnership and are very excited for all the future endeavors. Happy Monday! We hope everyone had a lovely weekend. There are 9 days till Christmas!! We’re excited to try out some new cookie recipes, make pretty snowflake garlands, and play in the bountifulness of snow that we’ve accumulated this past weekend. What are you most excited for? “Christmas snow can never disappear completely. It sometimes goes away for almost a year at a time and takes the form of spring and summer rain.  But you can bet your boots that when a good, jolly December wind kisses it, it will turn into Christmas snow all over again.”  – Santa Claus in Frosty the Snowman

It’s time for another Moody Monday! Today we are sharing with you our Penelope by the Camelot Design Studio moodboard. Penelope is a very pretty and feminine collection of floral, chevron, bauble, and cross prints in beautiful pastel blends. The array of muted aqua, coral, grey, and yellow make the designs soft and ethereal, and the perfect backdrop for elegant dresses, accessories, and home decor pieces. Feminine and sweet, this sorbet-infused collection is perfect for any fashionista!

In the same color scheme, Erdem’s Spring 2013 RTW collection was brightly infused with pastel colors, ladylike silhouettes, and soft prints. I especially adore the juxtaposition of tough and soft with the mix of lace, snakeskin print, cutouts, mesh, and floral appliques. Such a beautiful collection, and so reminiscent of our Penelope collection! So hard to choose but click here, here, and here for my favorites, and here for the rest of the collection!

It’s Monday!! Hope everyone is having a fantastic day. We are currently having a wonderful time at Quilt Market, day three!!

Let’s make this a great start to the week! With another Monday comes another Moody Monday. Today is the wonderful mix of chilly but sunny outside…such pretty autumn weather. Today’s weather has reminded us of one of our collections that is the perfect combination of yellow and gray color hues, the right juxtaposition of cool and bright. That’s right! Today’s Moody Monday is inspired by Gray Matters More by Jackie McFee.

Grazing the runways once again, we have found a noteworthy fashion collection that is very much in tune with Gray Matters. Calla’s RTW Fall 2013 Collection is an eccentric blend of bright pops of colors and neutrals, but it is the use of grays and yellows that really catches our eyes. The Fall 2013 Collection includes dresses, skirts, jackets, and more all infused with splashes of grays and yellows – we definitely approve! You can see the full collection by clicking here. This is one collection where gray really does matter…and so does yellow!

With the amass of positive feedback from Gray Matters, we had launched Gray Matters More by Jackie McFee in our new Fall 2013 collections.
