Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are doing fantastic today! I want to wish all of the incredible nurses a Happy Nurse’s Day – we appreciate you, you are amazing, thank you for all that you do.
Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are sharing an adorable Made by Rae little girl’s dress pattern that we had sewn up in-house (thanks, Tammy!), featuring our Pastel Me More Collection. Our Pastel Me More collection is just as the name suggests – beautiful pastel hues of blue, yellow, pink, and muted purple in fun geometric prints. The pastels work really well together to create unique color combinations, that are fun and girly. The happy colors in Pastel Me More are perfect for clothing, such as Made by Rae’s Geranium Dress.
We adore the versatility of the Geranium Dress, with the pattern including a range in sizes (newborn to kid’s size 12!), as well as different sleeve options (flutter sleeve, sleeveless, or faux cap sleeve). The Geranium Dress is the perfect everyday dress for your little one to go to school in or play at the park in. It ‘s such as sweet dress that can be worn casually, but also for a “nicer” event…while still feeling comfortable (which I know, is important for little ones!). We chose a blue and yellow triangle print for the bodice and pockets, and a contrasting yellow skirt, both from Pastel Me More. Super cute!!
You can find the full pattern for Made By Rae’s Geranium Dress here. You can also find more from Made by Rae on her blog, Facebook Page, Twitter, and Instagram. Have a wonderful day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Fri-YAY!! We hope you all are having a great day. We are definitely looking forward to the weekend. Woot woot! We’re also giving away a Coraline FQ bundle this week, so be sure to head on over to our Facebook Page to enter.
It’s time to our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring some stunning dresses made by Lucy Made, with our Beyond the Backyard by Jane Farnham Collection. Lucy Made is a blog by a creative gal named Lucy, who shares her love affair for fabric, wool, and sewing on her blog. She is inspired by color and pattern, creating with a sewing machine named Daphne – how fantastic!
Lucy Made made a couple of Geranium dresses (by madebyrae) for her friend’s little girls, using our Beyond the Backyard by Jane Farnham Collection, and they are just the sweetest. Big sister got a tunic-style dress with cap-sleeves and pockets, featuring a more bold, floral print from Beyond the Backyard. A sleeveless option, with a fuller skirt and a pink design, was chosen for the little sister. Both are just as adorable, and we hope the girls enjoyed their new outfits as much as we do! Lucy did such an amazing job making these dresses…we wish there were adult sizes in these hehe.
We also had a Geranium Dress made up in-house, with our Pastel Me More Collection, so we thought we’d also share it here. This dress truly is so versatile, and looks uber cute in both bold and soft prints.
Thank you so much, Lucy, for the fabric love!! We found your adorable dresses on Jane Farnham’s blog and just had to share. Too much cuteness!! (ps: congrats on the bundle on the way!) You can find more from Lucy on her blog, twitter, and flickr. Have an amazing weekend, everyone!

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! We hope you all are having a great day. Another Tuesday, another fun DIY project for you all..
Yup, that’s right! It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our beautiful No-Sew Pillow Tutorial. This relatively simple project is especially perfect for beginners, who are just starting to get into the crafting world. This tutorial does not require a ton of time to make, so it’s a great project for transforming any interior space. Having guests over but want to quickly spruce up your living room? Need to film a pretty, but quick DIY project for a friend? Feeling crafty, but don’t have a sewing machine? This is the project for you! (…and anyone else just looking for a fun project to try! ;))
Make a plethora of them and pile them all together on the floor to lie in! So so comfy! As well, we shared our No-Sew Pillow with our Pastel Me More Collection – the colors are fresh, happy, and exuberant – but this pillow would look amazing with any print.

It’s DAY FOUR of our Summer 2014 Collections Launch Week! We hope you have enjoying all of our collection launches thus far: Paddington Bear, It’s a Bird’s Life, and London Fog! Be sure to check out our blog posts on them, as well as our website for the full collections and free projects. Also, have you entered our Licensed Fabrics Giveaway yet? Enter to win 5 yards of licensed fabric on our Facebook Page.
Today, we have got our fourth collection to share…Pastel Me More by Camelot Design Studio!! Our Pastel Me More Collection is the epitome of all things girly, pretty, flirty, and of course, pastel! What could be better on a warm Summer’s day than a bike ride with friends (pastel vintage bicycles of course!) wearing your favorite tea dresses, and ending the day with some yummy sorbet? Or maybe a pink & sprinkled donut…or both? We could definitely concur to an afternoon like that! Pastel Me More is a feminine collection of soft pink, yellow, grey, and blue hues together to create gorgeous floral and geometric patterns. This collection reminds us a sweet, bakery shop so we love the idea of a confectionery-filled Summer party – cupcakes, cookies, donuts, macaroons, and cotton candy – decorated with a pastel-hued table runner and matching napkins. Such a fun (and yummy) idea!
Our Pastel Me More is such a fun and vibrant collection that could liven any room or space! We love the idea of a neutral room with a punch of color, such as a Pastel Me More pillow or quilt. We adore this Box Trot Quilt by Chris Hoover of Whirligig Designs:
We would love to know what you think about our Pastel Me More Collection!! What would your favorite confectionery to indulge in? :) It would definitely be a toss up between cotton candy, cookies, and donuts at the Camelot Design Studio. Check out all the free projects and complete collection on our website. Be sure to check out our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for lots more. Stay tuned for the last collection of our launch week tomorrow!!
