Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. It’s the last day to enter our special, “Jackie McFee’s Website Got a Makeover” Giveaway…so head on over to her Instagram to win a Neon & On FQB!
Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are sharing a beautiful crossbody tutorial: our Polygon Bag by Made by Marion. Our Polygon Bag is a clean, two-toned foldover design that features a long body strap, grommet details, and an interior zipper to hold your essentials. The straps can easily be removed, so it can also be used as a “night on the town” clutch. Its simple and lightweight design will make it your new, throw-on-and-go bag. We chose to use two mustard print from our Heirloom collection for the bag’s shell, which gave the Polygon bag a classic and rich feel!
A gorgeous crossbody bag that is perfect for yourself, and as gifts! Want to make your very own Polygon Bag? Click MORE to see the full tutorial.

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having an amazing day!!
For today’s How To’s Day, we are featuring one of our exclusive quilt patterns from our Free Projects Program. The Butterfly Quilt was created by the incredibly talented Melissa Stramel, of Lilac Lane Patterns. Melissa has now expanded her patterns to clothing and accessories, for women and little girls…and their dollies! But, we are obsessed with her Butterfly Quilt, which gives a unique flair to a quilt pattern. The little triangles throughout the pattern look like butterflies, which may seem complicated, but in the end – a super neat effect.
We love a contrast between the butterflies and the background, so that the butterflies really pop! Imagine a white quilt with solid colored butterflies?! That would be so so coooool. We decided to feature the Butterfly Quilt at our booth for Spring Quilt Market, in our popular Botanical room. The quilt displayed as a backdrop to the room (and because of its size, was a real showstopper!). It really made everything come together.
Vicki Reubel of Orchid Owl Quilts did such an incredible job quilting the Butterfly Quilt. We received so many compliments on the design and quilt work – so thank you to both Melissa and Vicki! You both rock!! Now… want to make your own Butterfly Quilt? Click MORE to see the full instructions.

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a brilliant day! It’s the last day to enter our #GypsyLane Giveaway, so be sure to head on over to our Facebook Page to enter!!
Time for our How To’s Day! Today we are featuring a beautiful pillow pattern for our Free Projects Program, made by the lovely Veronica Koh Eischeid of VeronicaMade. Modern Cross is a fun take on a flower/star cross design, which is the focal point of the pillow. Mixing and matching different patterns is what makes this pillow awesome; we love keeping the background neutral so that the middle pops! We chose to feature our Paradise by Alisse Courter Collection with Modern Cross, choosing our bright orange, fuchsia, and purple prints for the middle, and a pretty floral, neutral background. We love how it turned out, and think it would be beautiful in any feminine space.

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday!! I hope you all are doing fabulously. Quilt Market weekend is officially over, and we’re back to work today. A bittersweet moment, but we have so many incredible memories from the show that we will forever cherish. What a great Quilt Market!
It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring the stunning Glenda Clutch Pattern by Swoon Patterns, with our Coraline by Camelot Design Studio collection. Coraline is feminine and cool collection of coral, navy, and grey hues in bold geometric patterns. This modern and girly collection would make for the perfect decor for a little girl’s room, complete with tabbed curtains and tossed pillows! The patterns are also wonderful for accessories – a cute cropped jacket or clutch (like the Glenda clutch).
The Glenda Clutch is perfect for a Girl’s Night Out – it perfectly fits your wallet, powder and lipstick, and your phone in a cute little clutch. The simple snap detail gives the clutch a clean feel, with a detachable shoulder strap. We chose a subdued grey drops pattern, and a fun surprise of coral inside. Such a stand-out clutch!
Such a gorgeous clutch by Swoon Patterns! You can also find the pattern for the Glenda Clutch here. And with that, have a fantastic rest of the day!
Happy Sewing!

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are doing fantastic today! I want to wish all of the incredible nurses a Happy Nurse’s Day – we appreciate you, you are amazing, thank you for all that you do.
Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are sharing an adorable Made by Rae little girl’s dress pattern that we had sewn up in-house (thanks, Tammy!), featuring our Pastel Me More Collection. Our Pastel Me More collection is just as the name suggests – beautiful pastel hues of blue, yellow, pink, and muted purple in fun geometric prints. The pastels work really well together to create unique color combinations, that are fun and girly. The happy colors in Pastel Me More are perfect for clothing, such as Made by Rae’s Geranium Dress.
We adore the versatility of the Geranium Dress, with the pattern including a range in sizes (newborn to kid’s size 12!), as well as different sleeve options (flutter sleeve, sleeveless, or faux cap sleeve). The Geranium Dress is the perfect everyday dress for your little one to go to school in or play at the park in. It ‘s such as sweet dress that can be worn casually, but also for a “nicer” event…while still feeling comfortable (which I know, is important for little ones!). We chose a blue and yellow triangle print for the bodice and pockets, and a contrasting yellow skirt, both from Pastel Me More. Super cute!!
You can find the full pattern for Made By Rae’s Geranium Dress here. You can also find more from Made by Rae on her blog, Facebook Page, Twitter, and Instagram. Have a wonderful day!
Happy Sewing!
