Hi everyone,
Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are doing fantastic. Today is also Earth Day, a day that has been celebrated for 45 years, dedicated to encouraging and reminding people to take care of the world around them. Even small things, such as proper recycling, reusing items, remaking clothing, and using cold water, are things that can made a HUGE difference! We’re not perfect, and don’t always remember, but we try our best to do our part :)
It’s time for this week’s Winsday! Today we are giving away our Sea Life by Heather Rosas FQ Bundle on our Facebook Page. Sea Life is our wonderful sea-inspired collection of adorable sea life creatures – fish, starfish, turtles – in a turquoise, green, and grey color scheme. This aquatic collection makes us want to take a vacation to the beach, with the warm sand and salty ocean right by our side. Because we’re feeling all nostalgic and want to take a vacation right now (anywhere tropical, take me please! haha), we’re keeping the theme with our giveaway question. Find the Giveaway Image on our Facebook Page, “LIKE” the image, and comment letting us know what YOUR ideal vacation spot is. See below for full rules!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a fabulous day. It’s National High Five Day, so here’s a high five from us haha! *virtual high five*
It’s time for this week’s Thankful Thursday on the blog. Today we are featuring one of our favorite ribbon enthusiasts, May Arts Ribbon! May Arts Ribbon started out in the early 80s in Riverside, Connecticut, and is a family-owned and operated company. They started out by producing high-quality silk flowers that were decorated with pretty ribbons. The ribbons became such a big hit, that May Arts eventually became a dedicated ribbon wholesaler. They have now expanded their selection of beautiful ribbons, from lace to 100% silk to other fun trims & embellishments. We especially adore their pom-poms and scalloped trim! From their solid, bright colors to their funky patterns, we are such fans of May Arts’ ribbon selection – they’re great to pair with our fabric projects (…we’ll be sharing some with you soon!).
We decided to do a fun, crafty swap with May Arts Ribbon! They recently posted a lovely Vintage Style Apron tutorial, featuring their ribbon and our Folklore Collection – and we adore it! Charlene Driggs created this easy apron tutorial for the May Arts Ribbon blog, a project that any leveled sewer could master and have fun with. The hardest part comes from choosing a favorite fabric and ribbon, and from there – a bit of sewing and you’re done! In the end, you’ll have a super cute apron – with an adorable bow detail – for your next cooking or baking adventure. Love this one! You can find the full, free tutorial on their blog.
How pretty, right? :) You can find all of your ribbon and trim needs at May Arts Ribbon. As well, be sure to find more fun projects on their blog, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Thanks so much, May Arts Ribbon, for the awesome tutorial and for sharing. We can’t wait to share what we’ve got planned with our new ribbon! Have an awesome day, everyone. I know I will…psst. it’s my birthday ;) hehe

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday! And, Happy March everyone!! Wow, we can’t believe it’s already the beginning of March. Here’s to a month of new beginnings, new adventures, and warmer weather. As well, we’re hosting our No-Sew Pillow Cover Kit Giveaway (in collaboration with May Arts Ribbon) this week, so be sure to head on over to our Facebook Page to enter.
It’s time to kick off this month right, with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring one of our Winter 2015 Collections, The Kitten’s Meow by Heather Rosas for Camelot Fabrics. The Kitten’s Meow is one of our most adorable collections ever, complete with friendly kittens, butterflies, pretty florals, and hearts in a mint, amethyst, and grey color palette. So sweet and precious, The Kitten’s Meow is the perfect collection for our fellow girly, kittie-enthusiasts. We adore the idea of a playful kittie circle skirt or headband, so proudly show off your love for kittens and pastels!
Wildfox’s Fall 2014 Runway Collection was on point! Wildfox is known for their funky slogans, raglan sweatshirts, and grunge-feel lounge wear. Their Fall 2014 Collection definitely encompassed this, with their awesome “Mr. Darcy” t-shirts, loose knit sweaters, tasseled cardigans, and pretty florals. We also have a love affair for their sheep print. Too cute! We also adore their heavy use of toile, in spring pastel blues and pinks. It was reminiscent of our toile print in our The Kitten’s Meow Collection. So pretty and light! You can also check out the full Wildfox Fall 2014 Collection here.
We hope we have inspired you with today’s Moody Monday! We’d love to know what outfit was your favorite from the Wildfox Collection. Also, have a peep at the rest of our The Kitten’s Meow Collection for lots more adorable-ness. Have a wonderful rest of the day!

The Kitten’s Meow is the sweetest, most adorable collection of little kitties, butterflies, hearts, and florals in a pastel and girly color palette. The cutest of kittens in baby blue, pink, and yellow are happily playing and enjoying life with their butterfly friends…and there’s even a little kitten with glasses! This collection is for all our fellow cat-enthusiasts – we just can’t get over how incredibly adorable these kitties are!!

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday!! We hope you all had a fantastic weekend, working on some sewing projects or just taking it easy. We are hosting our Paddington Bear Fabric Giveaway this week on our Facebook Page. Because Paddington is such an adventurous little bear, we want to know what your greatest adventure has been.
Starting off the week with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our Sea Life by Heather Rosas Collection – a sea-inspired collection of fish, starfish, and seaweed in pretty blues and greens. This collection gives us that nostalgic feeling of being at the sunny and warm beach, a place we would love to be right now (instead of the frigid cold). Sea Life is happy and vibrant, a perfect collection for a beach house, sea-inspired room, or for kids’ clothing! We also love the idea of a simple, modern pillow for a beach-y vibe. Oh, our Wallace the Whale would love to dazzle in some Sea Life!
Valentino’s Spring 2015 Collection is the epitome of femininity and pure luxe. There are two distinct styles in this collection; one ethereal and the other boho-inspired with its geometric and block patterns. The dresses are flowy and loose, the perfect outfits for a vacation in the Mediterranean, to throw on after a day in the sun. We especially adore the sea-inspired prints – seafish against chiffon = the prettiest thing ever. We especially adore this dress, reminding us of our Sea Life Collection. You can check out the full collection from Valentino here.
We hope we have inspired you with our weekly Moody Monday!! Here’s to dreaming of a vacation by the sea. Have a fantastic day, everyone! :)
