Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday, the weekend is just upon us. If you are still recovering from the holiday celebrations, oh we hear you…because so are we! We cannot believe that the holiday season is officially over for 2013, but that also just means we now have all year to come up with creative and fun ideas for the 2014 celebrations ;)

It’s time for another Fan Friday post! Today we are taking the time to share with you a fun and creative shop, PK Stuff. Pam Kellebrew, owner and product extraordinaire of PK Stuff, started up her shop after many years delved in the crafting world. It only seemed like the natural, next-step to take – to share her passion with others – and is now behind a very successful online shop! PK Stuff sells all sorts of wonderful things, from stuff for your home to stuff for your bag! Pam loves to create “stuff” that are not just functional, but also pretty to look at..and she definitely does just that.

Amongst all her lovely items, she has used Camelot Fabrics in the mix! Our favorite is her PK Go-Go Wristlet and Tote About with our Simply Fashionista by Jackie McFee collection. By the way, how cute is the name of this wristlet? We adore how the floral fabric looks, styled as this sweet wristlet that is perfect to take with you on the go! Beautiful style and great choice in fabric, Pam!

Thank you for sharing with us your wonderful wristlet and for loving our fabric designs! If you would like to check out her wristlets, and all the other wonders she carries, click here for her shop! She also sells fabric, and you can follow her on Facebook. Thank you so much for reading this week’s Fan Friday! If you have a project using our fabric and would like to share it with us, please email us at info@camelotfabrics.com – We adore seeing all your fan projects! :)

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! We hope everyone is having a fantastic day. We definitely are having a great day in the office today! Christmas presents and a cookie exchange…we’ve now got a sugar rush but in the best way possible. Yum! What is everyone else up to for the day? :)

We have a Freddie’s Friends and Fabric Giveaway on our blog too! Click here to enter :) You can win an Olive the Owl sewing pattern and the accompanying fabric.

And it’s also Fan Friday on the blog. Today we are sharing a crafty Etsy shop, Thread Lightly Designs. Thread Lightly Designs is run by a mother/daughter team, Elaine and Erin, who create handcrafted, stylish accessories, book covers, bags, and more! Erin and Elaine choose fabric designs that are trendy, fun, and brightly eye-catching. What had started as a side project in 2010 has now expanded to a multitude of new products, a strong customer base, and the place for all your gifting needs!

Some of the stylish fabrics chosen were that of ours, such as our Birds of a Feather by Allison Cole collection! The feather and bird designs look especially darling as weekly planners…so sweet and functional!

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! The weekend is just about here, so we hope everyone has a great one. This weekend we’ve got some Christmas shopping and decorating planned; still lots to do with less than three weeks left till the big day!

And keeping in tune with the holidays, we’ve got our daily holiday question! Today the question is:  What is your favorite holiday drink? Let us know your answer in the comments below! My favorite holiday drink would definitely be Starbucks’ Skinny Peppermint Mocha (with soy milk)…ohh soo nummy! I’m an avid green tea drinker at Starbucks, but when the holiday season comes around it’s all about the peppermint mochas (and red cups!). Let’s see what our Design Studio team’s favorites are:

Marion: Hot cocoa with cinnamon, and a tiny bit of vanilla!

Valeria: My dad makes the most amazing Kir Royale every year for me! I love it!

Juan: Aguardiente!!

Andra: Homemade hot cocoa – melting my favorite store-bought chocolate with hot milk, and whisking them together with Bailey’s!

Shannen: The first, freshly brewed cup of coffee on Christmas morning before opening presents!

For today’s Fan Friday we are featuring a very sweet and crafty lady, Sam from Edie & Me! Sam started her crafting phase when she was pregnant with daughter Edie, but since then her hobby has only grown. Soon after, she opened up an Etsy shop (named after the mother/daughter duo!) to share her creations with others. Edie & Me specializes in baby essentials, from change mats to wipe cases to bibs in beautiful designs and fabrics for the trendy mommies and babies out there! All her products are adorable, well-made, and of course easily practical for the every day.

Edie & Me has chosen some of our fabric for her snazzy products, and we absolutely adore them!! We definitely concur with babies looking chic while struttin’ their stuff. A couple of our favorites are using our Simply Fashionista and Hot Chocolate (both by Jackie McFee) collections! Check below to see the beautiful designs:

06 December

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! We are super excited that it’s just about the weekend. We hope everyone has had a fantastic week. We can’t believe that December is just about here, though our weather isn’t denying us of the winter weather (we’ve been hitting below 0°C and have gotten snow already!). You know what they say: if you can’t beat ’em, then join ’em – here’s to the upcoming months of skating, skiing, and tobogganing! :)

Today is another appropriate blog post with the American Thanksgiving being amongst us with our Fan Fridays! Our Fan Fridays are dedicated to all our loyal supporters who share their beloved projects with us using our fabric designs. We ADORE seeing all the crafty projects! :)

Today we are sharing with you someone who equally loves all things “geek”, Ellie from Vampire Bunnies. We also have a current Star Trek fabric giveaway happening right now too! You could win 6 yards of some pretty incredible Star Trek fabric…click here to enter!

Aside from her absolutely incredible name, Ellie adores both a vintage-esque style and the geekery world, and combines her two loves in her store. She designs and creates sweetheart dresses and accessories using fun, colorful prints…including many of our designs such as Star Trek, Girl Power (DC Girl Comics), Marvel, and Star Wars. Check out some of our favorites:

Hi everyone!

It’s Friday!! We hope everyone has had a lovely week…but cheers to the weekend!

Today we’ve got another brilliant fan project to share with you all, Becky from Sew Becky Jo! Fabric-enthusiast, Becky, created the most awesome {and incredibly practical!} tote bag, using our Star Wars Greenprint fabric. She used a pattern from Fresh Lemons, called the Farmer’s Market Tote, and after seeing pictures…we are oh-so jealous!

The super-handy tote is beautifully lined and has extra storage pockets (who doesn’t love pockets?!) on the outside, an essential for any farmer’s market-aficionado (ahem, or for those who throw just about everything into their bags…we are guilty!). We applaud Becky for her fantastic craftsmanship on the tote!

Becky also sewed some uber cute bibs with our Superman and Batman flannels for a couple of superhero-worthy babies. Love!
