Happy Wednesday! We hope everyone is having a splendid week so far. Only 35 more days till Christmas. It seemed as though this year has flew right by, and now we must start preparing for the holidays…not that we’re complaining though! ;)

It’s Wednesday, so that means it’s time to announce our Winsday winner! Last week we hosted our Fresh Solids FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page, one that we were super excited to share with you all. We were so amazed by the wonderful replies of our new solid colors, and are so happy that you love them as much as we do. They are all so gorgeous and bright that we really wanted to know which was your favorite! We definitely can’t choose just one, so it was fun seeing which you liked best! :)

Happy Tuesday!! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. So much wind here today! The sun is out and there’s snow on the ground…but it’s freezing out there, so we’re glad to be inside. It’s the last day to enter our Fresh Solids Giveaway on our Facebook Page, so be sure to enter if you haven’t yet. It’s a good one, guys!

And speaking of our Fresh Solids…this week’s How To’s Day features our stunning solids in our New Bohemian Quilt by Sarah Laws Made. Sarah Laws created a couple of wonderful exclusive free quilt patterns for our Free Projects Program, which we are so incredibly enthused to share with you. Sarah’s style is modern and fresh, characteristics that embody who we are at Camelot Fabrics so we were thrilled to work with such a creative pattern designer. Our New Bohemian Quilt is a quilt of triangles sewn together to create a really cool pattern of intricate details and geometric shapes. The colors from our Fresh Solids are vibrant and exuberant, and work perfectly together to create this boho-inspired design.

Our New Bohemian Quilt is a stunner, and would look amazing as a bedspread or even as wall decor. We love this one, and are so happy to have gotten to work with Sarah. Click MORE to see the full tutorial for this quilt!

Time for this week’s What We Love ♥ We cannot believe that we are already halfway into November – another month and a half, and it will be Christmas!! There definitely has been a nip in the air, and we have gotten warnings of flurries coming next week. Yup, we officially cannot deny it any longer…winter is coming. But even so, that does not mean everything has to be cold and dreary. We have been inspired by our new Fresh Solids collection and all of our new, beautiful cotton solids. All the pretty colors have definitely inspired us this week…

Happy Thursday! We hope everyone is having a terrific day so far. We are inching closer to the weekend, which means it’s just about Quilt Market time!! If you are going to be there, be sure to stop by booth #1824 to say hello! Come check out our new collections, our wonderful projects & set-up, and our designers. It’s going to be so much fun! Today we are bringing to you our Thankful Thursday! We are featuring an amazing quilting magazine, the only Canadian quilt-based read… Quilter’s Connection Magazine! Quilter’s Connection is all about sharing the latest and greatest there is in the quilting world, from new fabric collections to featured project tutorials to perfecting techniques. They will share upcoming, Canadian quilt shows and festivals, and share their current favorite fabrics, notions, and supplies. They have a lovely mix of quilt projects in both modern and more classic fabrics. As well, because they are Canadian-based and proud, they like to highlight Canadian companies and designers…a wonderful treat for fellow Canadian, sewing enthusiasts! And as their motto goes, “we are a truly Canadian magazine – for quilters, by quilters.”

Quilter’s Connection featured our Fresh Solids in their latest issue for Fall 2014 in their “Favourite Finds” Section. Our stack looks oh-so pretty in print, almost as lovely as they do in real life. We are so thrilled that Quilter’s Connection adores our Fresh Solids Collection! And as a bonus, we’re also Canadian…so it is even more special to be featured in a home-based publication for quilting!
