What a trip! The show was full of inspiration, as always, and our heads are still spinning a bit. Before we lose that after-show-glow, here’s a quick recap of booth highlights from Portland.

Along with our new collections for Winter 2016, we’re also introducing a new Fresh Solids color + mixology… the sweet and soft Pastel Lavender. This light and feminine hue is also part of our new Lavishmint by Jack!e McFee collection, which is a beautiful combination of lavender and mint. Along with being a solid, we have also introduced Pastel Lavender in two of our Mixology prints – honeycomb and woven.

Pastel Lavender is getting us excited and ready for the springtime. You can see the Pastel Lavender swatches and designs here. Stay tuned for some exciting launches tomorrow…

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. We haven’t updated you all on any national food days in a while… so Happy National Baklava Day! ;)

Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Framed Quilt, designed by Chris Hoover of Whirligig Designs. Framed is a fun and modern quilt design, consisting of connected “frames” in vertical lines. This quilt does not have a border, so it has a cool look of the frame repetitions continuing off the quilt. You can have a lot of creative fun with this one. We chose to feature our sunset-inspired Fresh Solid colors, with a line of Wildberry, Geranium, Grapefruit, and Chamomile. To add a pop, we chose our Tide and Amethyst colors for the background. We love how our Solids Framed quilt looks like modern art!

Along with our Fall 2015 Collections, we’re also introducing FIVE new Fresh Solids colors. First up is a robust and rich yellow – Tumeric, which is available in our Herringbone and Woven Mixology prints. Lavender – a soft purple – is also available in our Herringbone and Tonic Mixology prints. We have Cotton Candy – a pretty bubble gum pink, that can also be found in our Herringbone and Woven Mixology prints. Next up is Brown Sugar – a warm and soft brown – is available in our Honeycomb and Tonic prints. And last, but not least, Marina – a cool blue – can be found in our Herringbone and Woven prints. YAY for new colors!!

Happy Tuesday!! I hope all of our fellow Canadians had a blissful and relaxing Thanksgiving weekend. We are filled with love, good memories, and lots of turkey & apple pie!

Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Chevron Quilt by Vanessa Fromm of Fabric Confetti. The Chevron Quilt is a simple, yet modern quilt pattern of horizontal chevrons. Playing with geometric shapes, the chevrons cut cool geometrics in the background which look really fun using similar-toned fabric designs. We chose to showcase our Chevron Quilt with our Fresh Solids, and love how the midnight blue chevrons pop against the sunset-colored background. This would be beautiful to decorate a bed or wall space!
