Hi everyone!
Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. It’s the last day to enter our Frolicking Forest Giveaway on our Facebook Page. Be sure to enter HERE if you haven’t yet.
It’s time for our weekly How To’s Day!! Today we are sharing another one of our fantastic project collaborations with you. Jennifer Hagedorn from Tie Dye Diva Patterns created the most adorable Tunic Dress and Bloomers Play Set for us, for our Free Projects Program, and we are launching the pattern for you today on the blog. Our Tunic and Bloomers Play Set is perfect for your little girl to play around in and be comfortable, while being absolutely adorable and girly at the same time. We absolutely love the bow and ruffle details on the tunic…and pockets? Yes, please! The bloomers are just as sweet, with the added ruching and bows – oh so cute!! We chose our Petite Plume Collection because it reminds us of Spring and Summer – we can imagine a little girl playing at the park in this play set, but then also strutting her stuff at a garden party or BBQ.
Because this tutorial includes two pieces, we thought it would be easier to split it into two posts. We are going to share the Tunic Dress Tutorial in this post, and the Bloomers Tutorial should be following suite. We are so thankful that we got the chance to work with the incredibly talented Jen from Tie Dye Diva – thank you SO much for creating the sweetest of play sets for our projects. Be sure to check out all of Jen’s other patterns.

Hi everyone!
Happy Thursday! We hope everyone is having a fantastic day so far. It’s the Fourth of July for our American friends tomorrow, and we’ve posted our last minute DIY gift ideas last week. Be sure to check it out HERE if you haven’t for lots of festive DIY gift and party ideas! :)
It’s time for this week’s Thankful Thursday, and today we are featuring one of our quilt pattern designers…Jessie Kurtz of Harding Hill Designs! Jessie Kurtz is the incredibly talented pattern designer and founder behind Harding Hill Designs, a pattern company dedicated to creating unique and vibrant project patterns that are easy to follow & fun to make! Her stunning patterns can be found on Etsy and Craftsy, as well as some quilt shops!
We had the absolute pleasure of partnering with Jessie of Harding Hill Designs to create a quilt design for our Free Projects Program! Jessie created this beautiful and modern digital quilt pattern with our Petite Plume by Andrea Turk from Cinnamon Joe Studio Collection called Crossroads. We adore the simplicity of the over look, with the cross pattern, and the intricate triangle detailing within the cross. It makes for a very interesting and eye-catching quilt, and would be beautiful as wall décor! You can download the free PDF for the Crossroads Quilt on our website HERE! :)
You can find Harding Hill Designs’ patterns on Etsy and Craftsy, and you can learn more at Jessie’s blog, Facebook Page, and Twitter. We want to say a big thank you to Jessie for creating such a gorgeous quilt design for us, and her wonderful partnership. We had an amazing time working with you!! We hope you really love Crossroads as much as we do – be sure to get the free pattern for it! Have a lovely day, everyone!! :)
Happy Sewing!

Hi everyone!
Happy Tuesday! It is also the first of April today!! And April Fools Day! Did anyone try pulling a prank on someone else or got a prank pulled on them? :) We love a brilliant joke or prank here in the office, as long as it’s all in good fun! Happy pranking! :)
We are starting off April with this week’s How To’s Day. Today we are going to share with you another one of our quilt designs – Our Flying High Quilt by Swirly Girls Design for Camelot Fabrics. This quilt design is playful and modernistic, with the triangles creating an awesome “flying high” pattern (almost like geese!) that works wonderfully with our Take Flight Collection. The tiered triangles also give this otherwise simple and clean design more of a bold statement!
This quilt design would look fantastic with any collection, and is perfect as a kid’s quilt or for snuggling with on the couch, but we especially adore it with our Take Flight Collection. You can get the PDF version of this tutorial on our website, in the our Free Projects Program section, but today we are going to share the tutorial with you on the blog. Be sure to also check out Swirly Girls Design for lots more, as well as their Facebook Page, Pinterest, and Twitter!
