Hi everyone!
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a lovey day.
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! New year, new beautiful quilts to be discovered!! Today we are sharing a gorgeous quilt pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Co. – Broken Bars! A version of the Broken Bars Quilt was created by Cristina Tepsick from Pretty Little Quilts. The quilt design reminded her of rows of books, and from that inspiration, created a Jane Austen-inspired color scheme with our Magnolia by Alisse Courter collection. She followed Jenny’s tutorial pretty much to a “t”, but changed the sizes of the strips to give an authentic bookshelf feel. We love her version, and how she even added strips of horizontal pieces to reference a real book’s spine. The Broken Bars quilt is such a great one, and we adore how Cristina revamped it! What a fantastic tutorial reboot.
Thank you to Jenny and everyone at Missouri Star Quilt Co. for the awesome free pattern, and to Cristina for choosing our fabric for her revamp. If you’d like to check out the tutorial reboot, you can click here. They’re also giving away a bundle of our Magnolia collection, so be sure to enter. Have an amazing rest of the day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! I hope everyone is having a great one. Have you entered our Make a Wish FQ Bundle Giveaway? Be sure to enter here!
It’s time for this week’s Fan Friday! Nikki of Seam Allowance Fabrics used one of our free patterns, our Wallace the Whale pattern, to create an adorable toy whale for her son. She scaled our pattern to 60% because her son wanted a baby whale, and we think that Wallace looks just as sweet. She chose a green and white design for the main body, and a white for the tale and tummy. He son looks so happy with his new whale friend!
We are so happy you enjoyed our Wallace the Whale tutorial! Thank you for sharing him with us on Instagram. If you want to create your own Wallace the Whale, you can find the free pattern on our website! Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day so far!! If you’re headed to Fall QM, we’ll be there too – be sure to by booth #414 :)
Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Cracker Lattice Quilt by Meadow Mist Designs. Cracker Lattice is a very pretty design of double lattices along the whole quilt. To add a fun twist, each intersection of lattices is a diamond block, which creates a look of interlocking squares and rectangle shapes. We chose to showcase Cracker Lattice with our Beach House Collection by Jack!e McFee. The mixing of coral prints keep the quilt feminine and sweet – perfect for a nursery or little girl’s bedroom!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a marvelous day!!
On to this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are sharing a project featured in the Sew Fabricated Quilt Shop – our Boxy Tunic sewn by the lovely Jess Zim. To showcase our Paradise by Alisse Courter collection, they chose our Boxy Tunic (a free pattern on our website!) as the front liner, and wow – does it look fantastic in person!! They chose the purple, medallion print for the bodice, the floral damask print for sleeve and hem details, and even added POCKETS!! An addition by Jess, that we absolutely adore. The dress is so cute, and makes for a wonderful walk-in to greet customers.
This dress definitely made us take a double-turn look when we saw it on Instragam!! Jess did an amazing job in creating the Boxy Dress, and we hope she had fun sewing with our pattern!
Thank you so much, Jess and Sew Fabricated, for the pattern and fabric love!! We want a dress of our own – pockets included!! ;) Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having an awesome day :) It’s the last day of Summer… but it’s also National Ice Cream Cone Day. Oh my!
It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring one of our free quilt patterns, our Deco Ritz Quilt by The Fat Quarter Gypsy. Deco Ritz is just as the name suggests – a super unique and glam quilt pattern that would fit very well in the 1920s, with its graphic and angular shapes. We first introduced Deco Ritz with our Nightfall collection, which the quilt pattern was inspired by, but we adore it with our other collections as well! With our Fresh Solids, this quilt pattern has a fresh and pop art-like feel. Love!
