It’s our Winsday! This week we hosted our Botanical FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page. We wanted to know which of our Winter 2016 collections was your favorite. We love doing these mini surveys, so see what you all love and would want to see more of. We always have trouble choosing our favorites, as each collection is equally special to us, so it’s great to hear feedback from our fellow fabric enthusiasts. And now, of course, the winner! Happy Friday!! YAY – we’re ready for the weekend! Wishing you all a great Valentine’s Day – hearts and love all ’round!

Ending our week with one of our loves… Fan Friday! Today we are sharing a super fun, Clamshell Baby Quilt by Serena Bean Quilt – featuring our Spectrum collection. We absolutely adore how she mixed the orange, mint, and blue prints together to create such a vibrant and playful look, almost like a scenic view of the sunset amidst the mountains. So gorgeous!

On to one of our (and hopefully yours too!) days of the week… our Winsday! Today we are giving away a bundle of our Botanical by Alisse Courter collection. Botanical is a rich and luxe collection of ornate floral prints, in a brilliant green and navy colorway. It reminds us of the springtime… ahh, glorious spring. A season that we’ve almost seemed to have forgotten, amidst the blankets of snow we are all too familiar with now (haha). But for now, we have our Botanical collection to remind us of warmer days….

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!! :)

On to our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our Equestrian Collection by the Camelot Design Studio. Equestrian is a neutral, warm collection of western-inspired prints in a grey, black, and brown colorway. The beautiful, noble horse prints are accompanied by pretty rosette, stripe, and arrow patterns. These strong and fun prints make for a great background to a dress or bag!

Stella McCartney’s Pre- Spring/Summer 2016 Collection was a mix of citrus hues and bold patterns. Oranges, yellows, mints, and pink flowed among this collection, complementing the neutral tones and horse-patterned & floral jumpsuits. It is a super fun collection, that definitely is inspiring us for the springtime. We were so obsessed with this jumpsuit, that was reminiscent of our Equestrian collection.

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our fantastic pattern designers, Joanne Hillestad of The Fat Quarter Gypsy. We have previously featured Joanne in a Thankful Thursday, but we wanted to share some new, fabulous projects that Joanne had been working on. And, we’re also introducing an honorary member to The Fat Quarter Gypsy – her son! Joanne’s son designed a pattern for our Free Projects Program, and we think that he is the coolest ever. On top of that, his quilt is just as amazing!

Inspired by Star Wars, his “The Force” Quilt includes a lightsaber-esque pattern to create a super neat look. Our “The Forces” Quilt definitely looks fantastic in our Star Wars Collection, but we think it will look great in a modern collection too (ie. Gypsy Lane). You can create your very own “The Forces” Quilt – find the free PDF printout here. A big thank you to Joanne’s son! 

Another fun project is one of Joanne’s latest quilt designs – Sweet Ups and Downs. This beautiful quilt is a chevron pattern, with a chevron-ed edge that we are in love with. Such a stunning look! The pattern also includes two different sizes, twin and baby-sized, so lots of options to create. Joanne made a Sweet Ups and Downs in our Design Studio Collection, and it’s really just so pretty. We love the contrast between the black and blue in the chevron design!
