Happy Monday! And, Happy March everyone!! Wow, we can’t believe it’s already the beginning of March. Here’s to a month of new beginnings, new adventures, and warmer weather. It’s time to kick off this month right, with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring one of our Winter 2015 Collections, The Kitten’s Meow by Heather Rosas for Camelot Fabrics. The Kitten’s Meow is one of our most adorable collections ever, complete with friendly kittens, butterflies, pretty florals, and hearts in a mint, amethyst, and grey color palette. So sweet and precious, The Kitten’s Meow is the perfect collection for our fellow girly, kittie-enthusiasts. We adore the idea of a playful kittie circle skirt or headband, so proudly show off your love for kittens and pastels!

Wildfox’s Fall 2014 Runway Collection was on point! Wildfox is known for their funky slogans, raglan sweatshirts, and grunge-feel lounge wear. Their Fall 2014 Collection definitely encompassed this, with their awesome “Mr. Darcy” t-shirts, loose knit sweaters, tasseled cardigans, and pretty florals. We also have a love affair for their sheep print. Too cute! We also adore their heavy use of toile, in spring pastel blues and pinks. It was reminiscent of our toile print in our The Kitten’s Meow Collection. So pretty and light! You can also check out the full Wildfox Fall 2014 Collection here.

Happy Monday! Wishing everyone a fantastic start to the week. We woke up to flurries, and it is currently still coming down. Time to bring out the parkas and winter boots!! It’s time to start off the week with some inspiration, with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our gorgeous Wildflowers by Alisse Courter Collection. This whimsy collection is full of dainty floral prints, fluttery vines, and lovely sprigs in comforting chartreuse, grey, turquoise, and coral hues. So elegant and pretty, this collection would make for a sweet little girl’s dress or full circle skirt. As well, we love the idea of adding a Wildflowers quilt draped on a couch or bed to add a touch of femininity.

Vera Wang’s Spring 2015 RTW Collection was brooding and dark, but the prints and silhouettes were far from simple. Keeping the color palette relatively simple – blacks and neutral floral prints – Vera chose to focus on silhouettes and texture. Lots of ruffles, brocade, floral, and sparkle, as well as flowing draping textiles. Such a stunning collection! We especially loved this dress, which reminded us of our Wildflowers Collection, with its dainty coral florals. You can see the rest of the collection here!

We’re inspiring you with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring one of our out-of-this-world collections – Outer Space by Vita Mechachonis for Camelot Fabrics. This collection is awesome for any little astronaut-in-training who wants to dream with the planets and stars. It’s the next best thing to the real universe! This collection features spaceships, astronauts, rocket ships, planets, stars, and more…and you want to know the best part? It’s glow-in-the dark!! This is an older collection of ours, but we do have our Ad-Fab™ in Outer Space Astronomy Lesson and our Outer Space Plush Fleece. These would make awesome projects for anyone who really loves all things outer space!

We absolutely loved See by Chloe’s Fall 2014 RTW collection of all things galactic! This collection featured bright, bold, and intricate details and patterns…including planet printed dresses and pants. Oh, how awesome!!

This whole collection stays true to the meaning of having fun with fashion. I mean, who wouldn’t want to wear an awesome pair of trousers with planet prints on it? This cool print reminded us of our Outer Space by Vita Mechachonis Collection, and we just had to share it with all our fellow space-enthusiasts.

The official, last Monday of August!! Today we are sharing our It’s a Bird’s Life by Heather Rosas Collection for this week’s Moody Monday. It’s a Bird’s Life brings you the majestic-ness of a beautiful and temperate field of fresh blooms. The sounds of the birds happily chirping, the smell of the luscious florals, and the feeling of the crisp air – that is all the things that It’s a Bird’s Life reminds us of. This collection is a mix of warm grey, coral, yellow, and mint hues in whimsical designs of birds, birdhouses, flowers, and geometric patterns. We could imagine a darling little girl’s half-circle skirt or little tot’s tote in this collection. And, how about a floral & bird infused quilt or two for your bedroom or living room? LOVE! One collection that reminds us of the prettiness of our It’s a Bird’s Life is that of Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2014 RTW Collection. Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2014 Collection  encapsulates a very whimsical, nature-inspired feel to it with floral vines decorating the clothing pieces and printed scenes from Greece. Gabbana describes the collection as “an unconscious dream”, as the clothing have a contrasting feel of real and what is irrational, which can only be found in dreams. We get that sense of fantasy and imagination in this collection, which inspired us with this week’s Moody Monday for It’s a Bird’s Life. Happy Monday! Here’s to the start of another great week – can’t believe that it’s almost mid-August. Where do the days go? We’re trying to enjoy the last bits of hot weather – swimming, going to the beach, refreshing frozen yogurt, and shopping were some of our plans this weekend. Let’s get inspired by this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are sharing our London Fog by Camelot Design Studio Collection with you. London Fog is a classic palette of warm mustard, navy, gray, and a splash of mint. Ruched, tweed, and pretty geometric patterns make this collection contemporary, yet playful. There is a rustic and cozy feel to London Fog, which reminds us of those rainy days spent indoors snuggling into a knitted blanket with a great book and some warm tea. We can imagine a beautiful shift dress or robe in our London Fog’s turquoise and navy print, a men’s tie in contemporary colours, and a modern geometric-infused quilt for a couch accent or bedspread. London Fog is one dashing and classic-feeling collection!

Even though we are still enjoying our summertime, we are starting to think about the transitional period between Summer and Autumn weather. During that time, colors will darken and become more muted. We love the idea of Fall textures and colors with a summer-appropriate outfit, such as a light blouse and a tweed skirt or a t-shirt dress and a utility vest. These simple changes can take your summer wardrobe into the Fall without completely changing your style, or disregarding your Summer items! By mixing and matching Summer and Fall pieces, you’ll get the perfect transitional outfits for Autumn weather.

The outfit below is a perfect example of that – a light, mustard-color blouse and a tweed & leather mini skirt makes this a great transition-into-Fall outfit. Add some black tights and over-the-knee boots and you’ve got yourself a Fall outfit! The patterns and colors in this outfit remind us of our London Fog Collection, and it has definitely inspired us to create our own transitional outfits using our Summer wardrobe.
