Hi everyone,
Happy Friday! I hope you’re having a good one. Wishing you all a fun-filled, maybe sew-filled, weekend :)
But before we go, let’s end the week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring some pretty makeup bags from Alex of godiesew on Instagram. From Alex’s feed, we can definitely tell she has quite the passion for sewing and fabric – we can relate hehe. She shares her latest fabric finds and sewing projects (and the occasional sweet kittie picture) on her Instagram, including these makeup bags featuring yours truly. We can spot two of our collections – Let’s Go and the Design Studio Collection! Each makeup bag features a coordinating zipper and metallic leather bottom, which really adds a fun element to them. Such sweet bags!
Thank you for the fabric love, Alex. And thank you for mentioning us on Instagram! If you would like to featured in a future Fan Friday, you can send your photos to info@camelotfabrics.com or tag us on Instagram. It always makes us smile to see the love that you all put in your projects & fabric choices. Have an amazing weekend!!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a wonderful day!! Weekend is just about here – any plans? :)
Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring some gorgeous clutches by Shannon Fraser of s/f designs. s/f designs is an Etsy shop dedicated to handmade & unique aprons, pillows, cosmetic bags, make-up brush rolls, lavender sachets, pet accessories, and more. As a longtime fabric lover, Shannon decided to take her passion and do something she enjoyed with it – making beautiful items to sell! She is inspired by nature and color in choosing fabric collections to sew with, and to create her designs. Her motto is to share her “love and passion with the world through [her] creative designs, one piece at a time.”
Shannon used a couple of designs from our Wildflowers collection for some feminine clutches, and we love how they turned out! She mixed our gorgeous floral prints with some textured, natural fabrics – which is the perfect balance. The simple foldover clutches include a top zipper to hold all of your belongings. And, how the floral prints add a pop of color to the clutch is perfect. Not too much pattern, but just enough. So pretty!
Thank you, Shannon, for the fabric love! We are so happy you enjoy working with our Wildflowers Collection. You can find more from s/f designs on Etsy, Facebook, and Instagram. Have an incredible weekend!!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! Woo it’s just about the weekend!! We’re also hosting an Emilia FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page, so if you haven’t entered yet, be sure to!
It’s also Fan Friday time! Today we are featuring a super sweet dress sewn by Kreated by Kate, with our Peacock Garden by Jane Farnham Collection. Katelyn Boehm, designer and creator behind Kreated by Kate, makes custom hair bows, dresses, tutus, and more for little princesses-at-heart. Her style is very feminine and sweet, which is her source of inspiration when designing and choosing fabrics for her clothing. She loves all the ruffles, all the tulle, and all the pink. Of course, we wholeheartedly think the exact same way. Hehe! ;)
One of Katelyn’s latest dresses is using a Create Kids Couture pattern – the Loretta Dress. The dress features gorgeous ruffle cap sleeves, an empire waist, and an adorable y-back detail. Loretta can also be made into a ruffled-hem maxi dress and top, but Katelyn opted for a shorter version and styled it with little cowboy boots on her daughter. SO cute! She chose our Peacock Garden collection for this dress, with the green prints as the main and some pink for the details. Such a sweet dress!!
Thank you so much, Katelyn, for the fabric love. We cannot get over how adorable your dress is, and of course, how adorable your daughter is wearing it!! And with that, have a great weekend everyone! :)

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day!! We’ve been posting our Summer 2015 collections this week, and we’d love to know which ones are your favorite!
Ending another wonderful week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring some really awesome washable grocery bags that Karin, of Leigh Laurel Studios, made. Using the Grocery Bag pattern from Michelle Patterns, Karin said that the bags were so fun & easy to make…that she made 7 of them! The bags are lined, reversible, and washable so they are super convenient and durable to use for all of your groceries.
She chose to use our Fruit Stand by Jane Farnham collection, which is the perfect collection for a bag to take to the farmer’s market! She mixed up the prints, which made for some super fun totes – say goodbye to your plain canvas totes, when you can have one with fruits on it! ;)
Thank you so much for the fabric love, Karin!! We love your whimsy, grocery bags! You can find more from Karin on her blog, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram. Have an amazing weekend, everyone!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. Have you entered our The Kitten’s Meow Giveaway yet? You’re going to love this one! We’re paw-sitive ;)
Ending another wonderful week with our Fan Friday. We LOVE when you tag us on Instagram, whether it be your adoration for one of our fabric collections or sharing a beautiful new project. Thank you to everyone who has, it seriously makes our day! Want to join in on the fun? We’re @camelot_fabrics…and you can also use the hashtag #camelotfabrics. An – lovely mother of 3, fabric addict, and lilac hair rocker – enjoys sewing adorable dresses and skirts for her girls. But of course, she also sews for herself!
She sewed the Lilou Dress, from Tilly and the Buttons’ “Love at First Stitch” book. The dress features a fitted bodice, thicker straps, and a full skirt – the perfect vintage/50s-inspired outfit. An chose to use our Botanical by Alisse Courter Collection, and we adore how the navy and mustard leaf-printed design looks as a full dress. The muted colours allow for a playful, yet classy look. An paired her dress with a mustard cardigan, and she is looking super stylish!
Thank you so much, An, for the fabric love…and for sharing your wonderful project with us! This is An’s Instagram too, if you’d like to see the other beautiful things she has sewn. Have a fantastical weekend, everyone!!
