Happy Monday! And, Happy March everyone!! Wow, we can’t believe it’s already the beginning of March. Here’s to a month of new beginnings, new adventures, and warmer weather. It’s time to kick off this month right, with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring one of our Winter 2015 Collections, The Kitten’s Meow by Heather Rosas for Camelot Fabrics. The Kitten’s Meow is one of our most adorable collections ever, complete with friendly kittens, butterflies, pretty florals, and hearts in a mint, amethyst, and grey color palette. So sweet and precious, The Kitten’s Meow is the perfect collection for our fellow girly, kittie-enthusiasts. We adore the idea of a playful kittie circle skirt or headband, so proudly show off your love for kittens and pastels!

Wildfox’s Fall 2014 Runway Collection was on point! Wildfox is known for their funky slogans, raglan sweatshirts, and grunge-feel lounge wear. Their Fall 2014 Collection definitely encompassed this, with their awesome “Mr. Darcy” t-shirts, loose knit sweaters, tasseled cardigans, and pretty florals. We also have a love affair for their sheep print. Too cute! We also adore their heavy use of toile, in spring pastel blues and pinks. All of their patterns are easy-to-follow because they know how frustrating a confusing pattern can be. Making things handmade should be a fun and enjoyable hobby, and AllFreeSewing.com provides you the best resources to do so!

AllFreeSewing.com also shares tutorials from around the web, and ours have been included! They featured our Half Circle Skirt Tutorial on their website, and we are super excited that they really love it as much as we do. We adore our Half Circle Skirt because it is relatively simple to make, and you create a beautiful and stylish skirt that you can twirl around in! It’s pretty much a win-win. Happy Friday! We hope everyone had a great week – any fun plans for the weekend? We’re hoping for some mild weather, with a touch of pretty flurries, so that we can go skating! Yup, the winter can be horrid…but there are definitely a lot of fun that comes with it too. Getting excited for all the winter activities!

It’s time to end our week with our Fan Friday! This week, we are featuring an awesome project from Isabelle Lachance. Isabelle loves making things with fabrics of fun, bright colors and nostalgic cartoons. She is a fabric enthusiast and enjoys making things & sewing, and decided to open up an Etsy Shop to share her creations. Creationilo is the name of her shop, which perfectly encapsulates her love for being creative and unique, handmade items.

She adores our Betty Boop Collection and decided to use our yellow filmstrip design to create a fun, placemat pouch. It is such a great and multi-purposed idea – you can carry your utensils in your lunch bag and use it as a placement, all in one!  We love the convenience of her placemat pouch, and adore the vibrant, yellow Betty Boop print she chose. The pop of hot pink is a fantastic touch too!

Happy Wednesday!! We hope everyone is having a lovely day so far. We are halfway into the work week, and we received a lovely surprise last night. Snow!! And not just any kind of snow, but the best kind of snow to make snowmen and have snowball fights with. Oh, glorious white confetti! It’s unfortunately turning into slush this afternoon, but we’re crossing our fingers for more pretty white stuff soon!

It’s time to announce this week’s Winsday! We hosted our bi-weekly giveaway on our blog this week, and were so enthused by all the amazing people who participated. In the midst of Thanksgiving, we wanted to know what you were most thankful for this year…and we received the most heartfelt, “feel good” replies that truly made us smile. So thank YOU for making our days, by sharing your wonderful stories and memories with us.
