Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is bundled up and warm today – it’s another chilly one for us. As well, it’s the last day to enter our Elixir FQB Giveaway! You can enter here.
It’s time for our How To’s Day! Today we are sharing one of our projects from our Free Projects Program. One of our pattern designers, Kristy Daum, created a beautiful quilted pillow pattern for us called Around the Block. Create a couple of these pillows to add a pretty and modern flair to any bedroom or living space, and you will be living in a comfortable paradise! We love our Elixir Collection with this pillow too, the collection that we just so happen to be giving away this week! As usual, Kristy created an easy to work with and beautiful pillow pattern for us…thank you, Kristy :)

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday!! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. Today is Groundhog Day and from the looks of it, according to Phil the Groundhog, we’ve still got another 6 weeks of winter ahead of us. Seems about right, as we woke up to a cozy -32 °C with windchill this morning. Brrr…
Time for some weekly inspiration with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our Scented Collection by the Camelot Design Studio. Our Scented collection features delicious and bright fruit prints; watermelon, lemons, apples, peaches, strawberries – as well as other yummy things, such as honey, coconut, lavender, vanilla, and crisp linen. You’re probably thinking of how delectable all of these things sound…now imagine a strawberry fabric design, that smelled like sweet strawberries! Our Scented collection is bursting with wonderful scents; you’ll not only fall in love with the pretty designs, but the scents too.
Our Scented Collection would make for some awesome projects. Who wouldn’t want to twirl around in a yummy, apple printed skirt? You can also make a lovely quilt or pillow with our Scented Collection, which would also leave a very light and fresh scent in the room.
FFWD, a fashion week-style event in Dubai, has featured so many incredibly talented designers and their designs. In their third season last Spring, one designer we were particularly fond of was Jo Baaklini. His fresh and vibrant style translated into his summer-inspired collection. His ensembles were bursting with color and liveliness, from bright turquoise pants to fruity prints. Every outfit was so fun. We especially adored his watermelon and lemon prints, which were reminiscent of our Scented Collection. This collection is definitely get us ready for Summer!!
We hope we’ve livened up your day with our Moody Monday! We’re definitely thinking about warmer days, despite our “six more weeks of winter”. We can still daydream. Have an awesome day, everyone! :)

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! We hope you all are having a brilliant end to the week. Know what we’re craving today? Flaky, buttery croissants. YUM! And it just so happens to be National Croissant Day. So down for one, or some, haha. We are also hosting our Elixir FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page, so you can enter here.
It’s time for this week’s Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a darling quilt we found on Instagram by Jessica Ewing of Always a Crafty Lady. Jessica started her blog, Always a Crafty Lady, at the start of 2015 – a goal to share her handmade projects & inspirations, after seeing the tag “A Year of Making” going around on Instagram. From quilts to clothing for her adorable girls, Jessica shares her passion for handmade items on her blog and gives her experience/tips with each project.
Jessica chose our Fairyville Collection for her super sweet Fairies Quilt that she made as a nap blanket for her daughter. She used a quilt pattern she found on Cluck Cluck Sew. It was also her first time machine quilting, first time binding a quilt, and first time sewing with minky. And the best part? Her daughter adores it!! She also made a second quilt using another of our Heather Rosas’ collections, Folklore.
We are so in love with your Fairies Quilt, Jessica, and are so glad you love our Fairyville Collection. You can check more from Jessica on her blog and Instagram. And if you’re loving our Fairyville Collection, you can check it out here. Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!

It’s time for this week’s What We Love #33 ♥ It’s the last week of January, and with that, it gives us a glimmer of hope that warmer weather is upon us. Wishful thinking. In the meantime, while we snuggle up in our jammies and hot tea, Pinterest is our best friend on cold winter nights. We’ve been inspired by adorable and pretty things, as per usual. See what we have been loving most this week…♥

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday!! We hope you all are having a lovely day. Have you entered our Elixir Giveaway yet? We want to know what your favorite Pantone 2015 color is. You can enter on our Facebook Page here :)
It’s time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring Needle Travel, a fantastic fiber & fabric travel guide that is super useful for anyone who loves fabric. Needle Travel is a reference book of quilt & craft shops in the United States (we hope they expand!), complete with contact information and addresses. The shops are organized by state and are in alphabetical order, so you can easily find the shop nearest you (super convenient when you travel and want to peruse shops in an unknown area!). As well, Needle Travel features a legend to easily guide you on what each shop specifically carries (fabric, yarn, needlepoint, etc). The travel guide is updated each year with added shops & changed information, and they now offer an app for smartphone users!
We think the Needle Travel guide is a brilliant concept. We often get asked where our fabric is sold, so this is the perfect reference because many of the quilt shops who sell our fabrics are featured. And if you flip through the book, you may come across someone familiar…yup, us! ;) *sigh* our fabrics are looking oh-so pretty…
We really wanted to feature Needle Travel on the blog because we think it’s awesome! Compact, super convenient, and up-to-date – all the information you need on local quilt and craft shops in one place. You can check out their website and Facebook to see where you can find a copy. Have a great day, everyone! :)
