Today we are sharing our first felt tutorial with you all! When we think of Summer, we think of sunshine, BBQs, pool parties, and delicious drinks. What’s more summer-y than lemonade or a lime refresher? Yum! We love all things citrus – beautiful, bright, and happy colors that liven any space! We are sharing our Felt Sliced Citrus Party Tags Tutorial with you today, which will be perfect for your upcoming Summer party!
These tags are absolutely adorable, and while they help you tag items, they also add a wonderful splash of decor to your table. Use these to label your food, drinks, or for seating arrangements – keep your party organized and festive!! Our felt makes these tags stylish and modern, and the chalkboard fabric segment makes them reusable.

Onto this week’s How To’s Day. As you know, we have been excitedly updating our Free Projects Library on our website these past couple of months, and cannot be more proud or pleased with the current projects. They are a great mix of in-house patterns and outsourced projects from some very incredible & crafty pattern designers. Today we wanted to feature the tutorial from one of our outsourced projects by Sweetbriar Sisters because they are just the cutest things. They have been happily hanging out with us here in the Camelot Design Studio office, and they definitely make our days a little brighter. They are just too adorable!
Today we wanted to debut our Endearing Elephants Tutorial by Sweetbriar Sisters. This super sweet mother/baby elephant duo makes our hearts swoon with their lovable faces, soft and delicate ears, and bright designs. We absolutely adore how the trunks can hook onto one another, to showcase the love and bond between them. We decided to use our Fruit Stand by Jane Farnham Collection, which makes these elephants modern and pretty, perfect for an elegant nursery or kid’s room.
We have seen “fancy” toy animals in many retail stores, and they are very exquisite, but they can also be very costly. Our elephants are perfect for creating a contemporary, but fun kid’s space – great for decorating and for playing with! These elephants are truly endearing, and the girls at Sweetbriar Sisters did an incredible job. We absolutely love our new office friends, and want to thank Sweetbriar Sisters for an amazing pattern! Be sure to check out all of their other patterns here.

Hi everyone!
Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a lovely day. It is the last day to enter our Itty Bitty FQB x coordinating Aurifil Spools Giveaway on our Facebook Page, so be sure to enter if you’d like. Good Luck to everyone entering!! PS: We’ve been excitedly going through all the new summer song suggestions, and have been loving them in the office…so thank you so much! :)
It’s also time for this week’s How To’s Day! We absolutely adore Burda Style, and are often found perusing on their website and magazines for sewing and style inspiration. They have a ton of creative and beautiful content each issue, there’s always something new, and we’re always inspired! As well, their patterns are always on-trend and such an ease to work with. They have a fantastic webisode dedicated to sharing sewing tips & tricks, as well as fun project tutorials for everyone. They have an online forum and gallery where fellow sewing enthusiasts can post their newest creations, either using a Burda Style tutorial or one that they made themselves…such a great place to share!

Hi everyone!
Happy Tuesday!! How is everyone today? We hope you’re feeling awesome! Have you seen yesterday’s post? We were inspired by one of Jessica Biel’s outfits, which was reminiscent of our Kate by Camelot Design Studio Collection, for this week’s Moody Monday.
It’s DIY time!! That’s right, today is Tuesday…so it’s time for another How To’s Day. As always, food seems to be a very popular topic at the Camelot Design Studio, so today’s tutorial is one near and dear to our hearts…and tummies! Last week, we shared with you our adorable, and scrumptious-looking, plush macaron pillows tutorial. This week’s tutorial? …also food-related, but hey, we’re good with that! Today we are featuring our Hostess Apron Tutorial.
Our Hostess Apron is a very pretty, ruffle-trimmed apron that is perfect for all your baking and cooking adventures…while still being in style! We also love a good party (glitter and confetti streamers required!) and we love to bake & cook, almost as much as we love to eat all the delicious foods, so why not put all three favorites together? Host a sewing/baking party with your closest girlfriends: sew your own hostess aprons and then bake some yummy cookies as a reward! How fun! Our What’s Cookin’ by Allison Cole is absolutely brilliant with our apron; the kitchen-inspired prints work so great, and are so fun & bright together.
We cannot wait to have our own sewing or baking party soon; we’ll all be rockin’ our fabulous aprons and eat scrumptious food….what could be better than that? :) Want to create your very own Hostess Apron? Click HERE to see the full tutorial!

Hi everyone!
Happy Tuesday everyone!! Happy Canada Day to all our fellow Canadians! We hope you all are having a great day. Our #PetitePlume Pinterest Giveaway ends this Wednesday!! Be sure to enter HERE if you haven’t yet :)
It’s also time for this week’s How To’s Day! It’s no secret that we love all sorts of sweets and yummy food here at the Camelot Design Studio. Have you seen our What We Love Board? :) We enjoy baking sweet treats, and more importantly, eating them…it’s always a good day when someone brings in something delicious to the office. So inspired by all of our sweet tooths, we decided to make macaron pillows with our fleece…and boy did they turn out exceptionally sweet!!
Our Macaron Pillows are soft, comfy, adorable…and almost good enough to eat! We can imagine a bunch of our macarons, in different pastel colors, decorating a daybed or little girl’s bedroom – oh how cute, right? Because we used our plush fleece, they are perfect for cozying up with, either with a good book or for a little nap. We used our rose, turquoise, and white fleece making our macarons a cascade of pastel confectionary!
