Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are sharing some more of our Quilt Market projects; these sewn by Carrie Burnett of Beri Bee Designs. Carrie sewed two projects for our Fall Quilt Market booth, and adore them so much! The first was an adorable growth chart for our Mickey Mouse & Friends section. We chose the growth chart tutorial from the Bowls of Cherry blog, and love to fun and nostalgic feel using our Mickey collection. It would be the perfect addition to a little kid’s bedroom.

She also designed a palette pillow with buttons, our Nordic section. We didn’t have a specific tutorial for this one, but wanted to create a cozy corner with a palette seat. We stacked a couple of our palettes, and put the palette pillow on top and it made for the perfect nook.

Thank you, Carrie, for sewing these projects for us! We received so many wonderful compliments on our booths at Quilt Market. We have also now transferred the Nordic palette seat to our office ;) SO cozy and the perfect spot for an afternoon nap. Have a great day!

Time for this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our With Love by Jack!e McFee collection. With Love is a soft and feminine collection of luscious floral, damask, and heart prints in a brown sugar and blush pink colorway. The colors together create a wonderful warmth and elegance, that would look beautiful as a subdued pop of print, in any interior space.

Marchesa Notte’s Spring 2016 collection was luxurious and boldly floral-infused. From bright fuchsia and royal blue to softer pinks and caramel tones, this collection was full of statement pieces! Marchesa is known for lots of bedazzlement and floral, and this collection definitely impresses! We especially loved this dress – the damask print reminiscent of our With Love by Jack!e McFee collection.

We are SO excited that we can finally share with you our newest fabric license: DISNEY!! We hope you love the three new collections we’ll be sharing for Fall 2015. These beloved characters are a part of the childhood of so many, both young or old.

Complete the look with an iconic Minnie Mouse polka-dot bow, and you’ll be ready for a day at the happiest place on Earth! And how sweet is this Mickey Mouse & Friends version of our Herringbone Quilt?

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone is having a wonderful First of September!! It’s also the last day to enter our Flannel FQB Giveaway, so if you haven’t yet, gogogo and enter!

Let’s start off the day with our How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Tumbling Jewels Quilt by The Cloth Parcel, the wonderful mother-daughter design team. The Tumbling Jewels Quilt is a gorgeous quilt design, composed of lots of different sized triangles and squares to create a “jeweled” effect. We love the randomness of how the shapes are placed, but together, create a super cool and neat pattern. We have fun playing around with this quilt pattern, and loved how it turned out with our Nordic Collection. The grey tones, muted pink, and black prints look so good together in this quilt.

Sharing this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our awesome quilt shops, Nana’s Quilt Cottage in Colorado Springs. Nana’s Quilt Cottage is a local, family owned quilt shop filled with lots of modern & pretty fabrics, project patterns, and notions. As well, they offer wonderful sewing classes, with a range in skill levels to be taught. Among the many fantastic teachers at Nana’s Quilt Cottage, is Nikki Rainey who joined nana in business in 2014. One of the bag patterns in their shop features our Paradise collection, which creates an absolutely stunning bag – featuring a fun bow detail! We love the Paradise prints that were chosen to create this stylish tote.
