It’s time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of the many wonderful projects we had sewn for our Spring Quilt Market booth. Carrie Burnett of Beri Bee Designs sewed a clutch with our Elixir collection, using the In a Clutch Cosmetic Case pattern by SewStitchingHappy. We loved the simplicity of the clutch pattern, and wanted to feature our feminine orchid hues from Elixir in a chic way. We chose our orchid ikat print for the clutch’s body, complimented by the orchid honeycomb print for the top trim. The cosmetic case turned out beautifully; the perfect pop of color to have in your handbag.

Thank you so much, Carrie, for sewing this clutch for us for our Quilt Market booth. It looked wonderful in the Elixir section! You can find more from Carrie on her Facebook, where she creates and sews children’s clothing and accessories. Have a fabulous rest of the day!

Happy Tuesday!! I hope you all are doing fabulously. Quilt Market weekend is officially over, and we’re back to work today. A bittersweet moment, but we have so many incredible memories from the show that we will forever cherish. What a great Quilt Market!

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring the stunning Glenda Clutch Pattern by Swoon Patterns, with our Coraline by Camelot Design Studio collection. Coraline is feminine and cool collection of coral, navy, and grey hues in bold geometric patterns. This modern and girly collection would make for the perfect decor for a little girl’s room, complete with tabbed curtains and tossed pillows! The patterns are also wonderful for accessories – a cute cropped jacket or clutch (like the Glenda clutch).

The Glenda Clutch is perfect for a Girl’s Night Out – it perfectly fits your wallet, powder and lipstick, and your phone in a cute little clutch. The simple snap detail gives the clutch a clean feel, with a detachable shoulder strap. We chose a subdued grey drops pattern, and a fun surprise of coral inside. Such a stand-out clutch!

Happy Tuesday!! We hope everyone is having a lovely day. You can definitely feel the frost in the air today. We’ve had a couple of “sweater weather” days, but now have been abruptly hit with the cold haha. Oh well. There are so many exciting things ahead – Quilt Market, Halloween, and Christmas. It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! We have been excitedly packing up everything for Fall Quilt Market, getting all our projects (in-house and outsourced) ready for the booth. We cannot wait to share all of our projects, but we have decided to give some little sneak peeks. Today we are featuring our Foldover Wedding Clutch in our Nightfall Collection. This absolutely stunning foldover clutch is the perfect little accessory for a Girls’ Night Out, Date Night, or any other glam event. Perfect in size to fit all your essentials – cell phone, lipstick, and money – this clutch will add some extra pizzazz to any outfit. The foldover design makes it super easy and convenient to use, and the wrap-around string is another unique detail.

We have previously shown this foldover clutch with our Neon & On Collection, which is a perfect statement piece for the summertime, but as we transition to fall and winter, our clothing choices and accessories are, in correlation to the weather, also getting darker.

We love our foldover wedding clutch with our Nightfall Collection because it’s so chic and glam, especially with the gold detailings. This clutch would be perfect with an LBD, but also with any other color because the gold really does pop! This clutch would be a perfect bridesmaid’s or birthday gift, especially along with our Trellis Edged Robe (free tutorial here).

Happy Tuesday! We hope you are all having a lovely day. Unfortunately, we’ve been getting some pretty yucky and muggy weather here as of late. We were surprised with a heavy downfall this morning, and some hail (yes, hail!) in some parts of the city this weekend. Let’s hope June will bring some more sunshine!!

To brighten up a gloomy day, we are here with our weekly How To’s Day! And this is a fun one, with colors that will surely brighten up any rainy day. And that is just what we need! Today we are sharing our Foldover Wedding Clutch Tutorial, featuring our Neon & On by Jackie McFee collection. With Summer approaching, it also means that party and wedding season are here too! And we couldn’t be any more excited!! Gorgeous floral arrangements, stunning gowns, delicious food, and heartwarming nuptials…we LOVE it all!  Plus, who wouldn’t want a reason to wear a cocktail dress and pretty accessories? :)

Our foldover wedding clutch is the perfect compliment to an even more perfect day!! This beautiful clutch would be a wonderful gift to show your loving bridesmaids how much they mean to you, or an added accessory to hold all your wedding day essentials! It would be great for a night out with the girlfriends or as a makeup/essentials pouch too. Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having an amazing day so far. There are 15 more days till Christmas and there is still so much to do (eek!). As much as I adore the holidays, I always tend to plan to do too much (Pinterest…I’m looking at you!) and as a result, some things may be put to the last minute. DIY projects are perfect for those meaningful, yet fun and simple gifts to give to all your loved ones. We’ve got lots of free projects on our website and blog that you can use this holiday season; be sure to have a look around our sites for your favorites! Today’s free project is our Beaded Clutch Tutorial, using our Mint to Be collection. We also created this clutch in a couple of other collections, including our Penelope Collection! A clutch is a wardrobe essential; it can be used as a bag divider for all your loose products and then interchanged for nighttime. The style of this clutch is beautiful and elegant, especially with the scalloped edges and added beads for that extra touch of glam. If you’re thinking of making this clutch for a friend this Christmas, we definitely suggest getting some extra fabric…we’re pretty sure you’ll want to make one for yourself too.
