If you’ve read my Moody Monday blog featuring our Disney•Pixar Cars Collection last June than you know how much I love the movies.  Now you were probably wondering why it wasn’t followed by a How To Tuesday right?  That’s simply because I had to make it!  It’s now ready and the timing couldn’t be more perfect since we have to get these kids ready for back to school!  So without further ado, here is a cute pencil case!

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. Guess what? It’s almost the weeeeeekend. And with the gorgeous Summer weather, we’re ready for a pool day!

Ending a great week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring an embroidery case that Katherine sewed, featuring our Wildflowers by Alisse Courter collection. Katherine chose This and That‘s Tag Along Embroidery Bag, which is a fun whimsical bag that cleverly makes use of a charm pack. The feminine colors and floral prints of Wildflowers work so well together, to add the perfect amount of brightness and bloom to this useful bag!

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Tablet Case Tutorial from Hypernoodle, a case that is equally protective and stylish for your tablet. Long gone are the days of those industrial-looking and plain cases that, yes, are functional…but really not that pretty to look at. We’ve solved that problem with our fabric case so that now you’ll want to carry your tablet with you everywhere! The slight padding adds support, and the size will fit a standard tablet. Happy Tuesday!! We hope everyone is having a lovely day. We are trying to embrace the milder weather, as we are supposed to be getting more rain in the next coming days. Sigh. We just want sunshine!! :)

In the meantime, we’ve got something else to brighten your day – it’s time for this week’s How To’s Day post! We’ve got a fantastic new tutorial to share with you all, our Easy Pillow Slip! We are all about simplicity and convenience here, so if we can make something…why not right? :) Bedcovers and sheets should be interchanged every couple of weeks, and there is honestly nothing better than the feeling of going to bed in fresh linens. However, buying extra bed wear can get pretty expensive, especially for something that can easily be made yourself, so we are going to share our tips & tricks with you today on just that!

Another awesome thing about bedcovers is that they are just that – covers for your bed! It’s the simplest way to change up a bedroom look; keep the rest of your bedroom décor neutral and add pops of color with your linens (ie. pillows, bed sheets, and curtains!). In a manner of minutes, you’ll have yourself a completely different looking room. It’s a great way to decorate on a budget (such as for a dorm room!), or for those who just like changing things up!
