It’s time for this week’s What We Love ♥ The fall season has definitely inspired our moods and interests this month. November is the transitional month from autumn to winter weather, where we go from our light jackets to being bundled up like a snowman (hehe). The earlier nights aren’t fun but the piercing, bright stars are brilliant against the dark sky – such a beautiful sight. See what we have been loving this week…

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a great day! Today is National Doughnut Appreciation Day… so get to appreciating and have a doughnut! ;)
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our lovely sewers who made some projects for our Fall Quilt Market booth, Denita Walker of HattieLu Handmade. Denita is a sewing and fabric enthusiast, who shares her latest creations on her blog and has an Etsy Shop to sell her goodies. We were connected with Denita as a Pattern Revolution contributor, and had an amazing time working with this lovely gal. She sewed two projects for our booth – the first, a stylish two-piece dress – the Vanamo Dress by Named – with our Nordic Collection. It was truly a stand-out piece in our Nordic section, and our “Val” mannequin was rockin’ it!
Denita also sewed the super cool London Backpack by UpCraftClub with our new The Alchemy: Indigo Collection. We adore the vegan leather she chose, which is a perfect compliment to the blue hues of the Alchemy prints.
Thank you so much for being such an incredible person to work with, Denita!! Our booth was fabulous, and we have you to thank for that. Have a fantastic rest of the day, everyone!
Happy Sewing!

Another Disney collection to share for our Fall 2015 Collections Launch Week! Twirl, sparkle, and shine with our Disney Princess Collection! Our soft and pastel-hued Disney Princesses Collection features the timeless Disney Princesses we have grown up admiring – Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White – as well as one of the newest princesses, the spirited Rapunzel!
Create an adorable circle skirt for your little princess-in-training, or a cozy Princesses bed quilt, such as this precious Box Trot Quilt – full of nostalgia and charm!
We hope you adore our Disney Princess Collection as much as we do. We’d love to know who your favorite Disney Princess is. What would you create with this collection? :)

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday!! How was everyone’s weekend? Any fun projects that you’re working on? We’d love to know!
It’s time for our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring Carbon – one of our latest colors to become a part of the Fresh Solids collection. Carbon is a moody and broody, dark grey color that meshes well with a lot of different palettes. Warm a bright project with a bit of carbon, or create a neutral-colored quilt. And with the fall time coming soon, carbon is one color that is sure to keep all of your projects (and you!) feeling oh-so cozy. Our carbon color is available as a solid, as well as in our herringbone and honeycomb prints.
We are obsessed with how fresh and modern Calvin Klein’s Fall 2006 Collection is. Even almost 10 years later, his ensembles are all pieces we still see on the streets, in the magazines, and as upcoming trends. We love the neutral palette he chose – a classic look for the autumn weather. We adore this outfit, which is reminiscent of our Carbon herringbone print. Simple, classic, but that skirt is incredible.
We hope we have inspired you today! We’d love to know what fall trends you are looking forward to trying. Especially since NYFW has been underway! Have a great day!!
Happy Sewing!
