Happy Monday! I hope you had a fantastic weekend!! I spent a lovely day at a greenhouse, which housed gorgeous orchids and cacti, among other plants, a bridge, and majestic fountain. A perfect, sunny afternoon!
Time for some daily inspiration with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring the last of our Mixology prints, our Woven design. Woven is a lovely textured, “cross-hatched” pattern, that works wonderfully with our Fresh Solids and newest collections. The simple design allows for it to easily be incorporated, with other designs, for any project you want to create. We also love mixing our Mixology prints among one another, the others being Herringbone, Honeycomb, and Tonic. We love the idea of a Mixology quilt – such as New Bohemian – so modern and clean!
Prabal Gurung’s Resort 2015 Collection was all about clean-cut lines, with a sports-inspired flair. Each piece was feminine and elegant, but had a fun edge to it – whether it be a zipper detail or cut hem. Prabal Gurung said his inspiration for his Resort Collection was a “one-stop shop from morning to evening.” We can definitely see the working woman go from the office to an event in all of Gurung’s latest designs. We’re also obsessed with the shoes he used for his show – the horizontal lines looked fab! One outfit that particularly sparked our interest was this dress, with the design being reminiscent of our Woven. It is the perfect day-to-night look!
We hope you have enjoyed this week’s Moody Monday! We’d love to know what trends you’re looking forward to trying for Spring. Have a great day, everyone!

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a wonderful week. Who’s ready for weekend? I surely am! The weather is supposed to be pretty milk, so I’m thinking a trip to the farmer’s market sounds like the perfect weekend adventure :)
Time to our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a stunning bag, sewn by Erin Morris of Diedelbug Handmade, featuring our Nightfall Collection. Nightfall is our gorgeous black and white collection, featuring metallic gold designs. From dots to chevrons to herringbone, our Nightfall Collection is sure to glam up any project that comes your way! A stay-at-home mommy to two boys, Erin is also a craft and sewing enthusiast, who loves to make things for her boys. She also has a Facebook shop, Diedelbug Handmade, where she sews custom purses, bags, wallets and clutches. As well, she sells some patterns on Craftsy!
Erin decided to create a convertible Glenda Clutch by Swoon Sewing Patterns, using our black and gold, tassel design from Nightfall. We love the use of Nightfall, as an accessory, because it can really pop against a neutral outfit and be that added “oomph”. We love that the inside is just as pretty, such a fun surprise!
Thank you so much, Erin, for the fabric love and for sharing your clutch with us on Instagram! You can find more from Erin on her Facebook Page, Craftsy, and Instagram. You can always send your Camelot Fabric project pictures our way, either by email or on Instagram. We LOVE seeing them, and you could be featured next! Have an awesome weekend, everyone!

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a fabulous day. It’s National High Five Day, so here’s a high five from us haha! *virtual high five*
It’s time for this week’s Thankful Thursday on the blog. Today we are featuring one of our favorite ribbon enthusiasts, May Arts Ribbon! May Arts Ribbon started out in the early 80s in Riverside, Connecticut, and is a family-owned and operated company. They started out by producing high-quality silk flowers that were decorated with pretty ribbons. The ribbons became such a big hit, that May Arts eventually became a dedicated ribbon wholesaler. They have now expanded their selection of beautiful ribbons, from lace to 100% silk to other fun trims & embellishments. We especially adore their pom-poms and scalloped trim! From their solid, bright colors to their funky patterns, we are such fans of May Arts’ ribbon selection – they’re great to pair with our fabric projects (…we’ll be sharing some with you soon!).
We decided to do a fun, crafty swap with May Arts Ribbon! They recently posted a lovely Vintage Style Apron tutorial, featuring their ribbon and our Folklore Collection – and we adore it! Charlene Driggs created this easy apron tutorial for the May Arts Ribbon blog, a project that any leveled sewer could master and have fun with. The hardest part comes from choosing a favorite fabric and ribbon, and from there – a bit of sewing and you’re done! In the end, you’ll have a super cute apron – with an adorable bow detail – for your next cooking or baking adventure. Love this one! You can find the full, free tutorial on their blog.
How pretty, right? :) You can find all of your ribbon and trim needs at May Arts Ribbon. As well, be sure to find more fun projects on their blog, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Thanks so much, May Arts Ribbon, for the awesome tutorial and for sharing. We can’t wait to share what we’ve got planned with our new ribbon! Have an awesome day, everyone. I know I will…psst. it’s my birthday ;) hehe
