Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! We hope you all are having a lovely day so far. Today is National Parfait Day = Yum! Of course, we love our parfaits anytime and any day…but today just gives us all the more reason ;)
It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day!! Today we are featuring our fantastic and stylish Yoga Bag Tutorial on the blog. With all the upcoming holiday parties (and thus, all the delicious food!!), we’re going to need to prep by being gentle to our bodies. We love yoga as a form of exercise, as it is also great for stretching muscles and flexibility. As well, it is a wonderful stress reliever so it’ll also be great after the rush of Christmas shopping! (and we’ll definitely need it for that!!)
What better way to carry around your yoga mat than with our pretty bag? With a convenient, zippered pouch for your mat and adjustable strap, our Yoga Bag is the perfect companion for carrying to your classes. We adore our yoga bag with our What a Gem by Allison Cole collection; the bright blue is a fun pop to your bag…and you’ll always know which one is yours!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! We hope you are having a wonderful end to the week. We are looking forward to spending our weekend working on some projects and drinking hot cocoa by the fire! :)
It’s time for this week’s Fan Friday, and today we have a really awesome one to share. Plus, there’s a great giveaway too…so keep reading till the end ;) Today we are featuring two fantastic people: Companie M., pattern designer of the Lotta Skirt, and Fruits de Mère, who made the Lotta Skirt in our Nightfall Collection! The Lotta Skirt is a beautiful, gathered skirt with fun pocket details and a relaxed-fit waist. The pattern features two variations for both little girls and adults, and can be made unlined to wear during the warmer months.
This stunning Lotta Skirt was created by the wonderful pattern designer, Marte of Companie M., who creates patterns that are easy-to-follow and accommodating for everyone. As well, her patterns are featured in both English and Dutch. Marte started her business by sharing her creations on her blog, an adventure that eventually became a successful, new venture! She has the so many amazing patterns too, which you can check out here.
Annelies, from the blog Fruits de Mère, created a Nightfall version of the Lotta Skirt and it is just absolutely stunning. We love that she chose the herringbone print, which makes it the perfect festive skirt for all your upcoming holiday parties!! We also loved how she styled her outfit, keeping everything else neutral to have the Nightfall skirt be the “showstopper”.
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to Marte because we are hosting a blog giveaway to win her Lotta Skirt Pattern!! As well, Marte is offering our readers a coupon at her shop – use the code CAMELOT to receive a 10% discount (ends November 30th, 2014). See below on how to enter our Giveaway:

Thank you so much for the wonderful giveaway, Marte! Check out more from Compagnie M. here. Good Luck to everyone entering! And have a great weekend!! :)

Time for this week’s What We Love! ♥ Before the start of the “hustle and bustle” of the holiday season, we have been taking some time to relax and enjoy the pretty (and yummy!) things the season has to offer. This week, we have been intrigued by beauty artwork, enticing color palettes, and delicious holiday drinks, to keep our minds inspired and happy during the colder months. A fun day at the museum, followed by a warm drink sounds absolutely wonderful to us. Onto more of what we have loved most…
Marion: Haunted Forests by Betteo
Vanessa: MMFA’s Van Gogh to Kandinsky Exhibition; Franz Marc, Stables, 1913
Valeria: Sunshine / Lavender / Mint Color Palette
Juan: Rebel Alliance Guitars
Shannen: Spiced Chai Tea Latte
You can find even more prettiness on our Pinterest! We would love to know what you have been loving most this week. Stay warm and cozy! ♥

Hi everyone!
Happy Thursday!! We hope everyone is having an awesome day so far. Sew Sisters Quilt Shop is hosting their annual Blogathon Canada and we are proud to be one of the sponsors. They are giving away our Kate FQ bundle as one of the prizes – the giveaway ends tomorrow so be sure to enter :)
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our incredible pattern designers, Melissa Corry of Happy Quilting Designs. Melissa is a wife and stay-at-home mommy of five by day, quilting enthusiast by night. Melissa and her family have moved several times across the country, but before the first move, she asked her mom to teach her how to quilt. She wanted a new hobby to keep her busy, and through it, found a new love. She began sewing baby blankets for her friends, and her passion for sewing only grew. She started Happy Quilting in 2010 and, soon after, started to design and sell her own quilt patterns.
We had the opportunity to collaborate with Melissa for our Free Projects Program, and Melissa created two fantastic projects for us. The first is our Hang Time Quilt (above in our Fresh Solids), which is a unique and modern cross quilt that features different fabric patterns and colorways perfectly. We love the intricacy of the design, which would make for a stunning quilt as a bedspread or wall decor.
As well, Melissa designed a Peaks and Valleys Table Runner for us which is a fun zig-zagged table runner that would add a bit of oomph to any coffee table or dining table decor. It looks so pretty in our Opposites Attract by Jackie McFee Collection.
Thank you so much, Melissa, for the wonderful collaboration and for the gorgeous project patterns! We are excited for what’s to come. You can find the free PDF printouts for both of Melissa’s patterns here. As well, be sure to check out more from Melissa at Happy Quilting. As well, check out her Facebook Page, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. Cheers to a great rest of the day, everyone!
