Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday!! We hope you all are having a fantastic day so far. It’s the last day to enter our Coraline FQ Bundle Giveaway, so be sure to head on over to our Facebook Page to enter!
Time for our How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Echo Pillow Tutorial by Kristy Daum, from our Free Projects Program. Our Echo Pillow has an architectural feel to it, with the fabrics creating angular lines throughout. We love how the linear designs stand out against a more neutral background, to really give that pop of color to any space. We chose to feature Echo with our The Kitten’s Meow Collection, to showcase how versatile this pillow is. How adorable would this pillow look in a little girl’s room? Another fabulous design by one of our faves, Kristy!!

Hi everyone,
Happy Fri-YAY!! We hope you all are having a great day. We are definitely looking forward to the weekend. Woot woot! We’re also giving away a Coraline FQ bundle this week, so be sure to head on over to our Facebook Page to enter.
It’s time to our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring some stunning dresses made by Lucy Made, with our Beyond the Backyard by Jane Farnham Collection. Lucy Made is a blog by a creative gal named Lucy, who shares her love affair for fabric, wool, and sewing on her blog. She is inspired by color and pattern, creating with a sewing machine named Daphne – how fantastic!
Lucy Made made a couple of Geranium dresses (by madebyrae) for her friend’s little girls, using our Beyond the Backyard by Jane Farnham Collection, and they are just the sweetest. Big sister got a tunic-style dress with cap-sleeves and pockets, featuring a more bold, floral print from Beyond the Backyard. A sleeveless option, with a fuller skirt and a pink design, was chosen for the little sister. Both are just as adorable, and we hope the girls enjoyed their new outfits as much as we do! Lucy did such an amazing job making these dresses…we wish there were adult sizes in these hehe.
We also had a Geranium Dress made up in-house, with our Pastel Me More Collection, so we thought we’d also share it here. This dress truly is so versatile, and looks uber cute in both bold and soft prints.
Thank you so much, Lucy, for the fabric love!! We found your adorable dresses on Jane Farnham’s blog and just had to share. Too much cuteness!! (ps: congrats on the bundle on the way!) You can find more from Lucy on her blog, twitter, and flickr. Have an amazing weekend, everyone!
Happy Sewing!

Inspired by pastel colors, Easter (which is coming up next week!), and ___, this is what we’ve been loving most this week…

Hi everyone,

Time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our absolute favorite quilting magazines, Love Patchwork & Quilting. Full of modern projects and fabulous color inspiration, Love Patchwork & Quilting is bringing on a new wave to the quilting world. No longer a hobby that is seen as “uncool”, quilting has definitely taken a new direction into being a fun, fresh, and creative craft. There is so much that can be created in quilting – not just your standard square patchworks – and Love Patchwork & Quilting is the place to find that inspiration. Based in the UK, this modern quilting magazine features favorite fabric collections, unique project patterns, and so much more!
Love Patchwork & Quilting has featured our fabrics in a couple of their issues – it’s always fun finding our fabric, like a mini “where’s waldo?”. In their holiday issue, they featured our Peacock Garden by Jane Farnham collection in their “Love Fabric” section. It was so wonderful seeing the beautiful pink and mint-inspired spread. They included a little write-up on Peacock Garden, with love to the crisp color palette and the sweet peacock designs.
Thank you so much to Love Patchwork & Quilting for the amazing feature. We are so thrilled you continue to enjoy our fabrics! You can find more from Love Patchwork & Quilting on their website, Facebook Page, Pinterest, and Twitter. They’ve even got an app now. And with that, have a lovely day everyone!
Happy Sewing!
