Hi everyone,

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having an awesome day. Feeling a bit of a sugar rush this afternoon, but hey – it was Easter! Where else is all this chocolate going to go? Seems like a legit enough reason to us, haha.

Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are sharing a Bar Blocked Floor Mat Tutorial by Made by Marion. Simple, modern, and clean in this design, this bar blocked floor mat features our wonderful osnaburg, a textile that is like canvas but with a lighter weight (can be seen in our Basics Catalog). It is unbleached, like our Heirloom Collection, which is also featured in our project. With our Heirloom Collection, this bar blocked floor mat looks luxurious and regal.

The simple striped design makes it the perfect mat for any interior space – it would look lovely under a glass coffee table or by your bedroom door. Its smaller size makes it a great piece for adding a bit of pizzazz to a floor space, without the commitment of a large rug or carpet.

Hi everyone!

Happy Easter Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic Easter weekend, and that the Easter bunny was good to you. We definitely got our fill of chocolate, donuts, and macaroons today with our office Easter hunt! Yup, always will be kids at heart ;)

Today is our Moody Monday! We are featuring another design from our Mixology Collection, a group of designs that can be “mixed” with other collections for your projects. All of the designs in our Mixology Collection match perfectly with our Fresh Solids, and colors from our latest collections, so you’ll be able to find perfect blending patterns. There are four different designs, including our adorable honeycomb prints. In a range from cool blues to luscious sorbets, our honeycomb prints would work well on their own, or mixed with one of our collections.

Kiernan Shipka dazzled at People’s “One to Watch” Party last year, in a dark blue, honeycomb-printed ruffled-hem shift dress. We fell in love with this classic silhouette on the young Hollywood star, making her look sophisticated. Her dress was the “standout”, keeping her hair in a loose up-do and minimal jewelry. The honeycomb print was reminiscent of the navy colorway of our honeycomb collection. We loved how classy she looked in navy. Such a great alternative to the LBD!

We hope we’ve inspired you today! We are so excited for all the new Spring trends, coming soon! We’d love to know what trends you are looking forward to most. Have a great day, everyone! :)

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday!! We hope everyone is having a fantastic day. Easter is this weekend, and we are excitedly getting ready for Mr. Easter Bunny to arrive. Decorating eggs and baking cookies! Yum yum! :)

Fan Friday time!! Today we are featuring an adorable Let’s Go Quilt by Perry’s Plate, that we found on Instagram. Perry’s Plate is a wonderful food blog run by Natalie, who shares her favorite paleo recipes. She is passionate about feeding her family healthy foods, and lives a mostly paleo lifestyle. Her blog has been featured many times, including LDS Living, Gourmet Live, and being the blog of the month on Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution site. On top of being a blogger, she is a mom of 4 and loves to sew!

She recently shared her Let’s Go Quilt, that she made for her newest little boy, and we just had to share! The quilt is adorable, but I mean…her son makes the picture haha. Too cute!!

Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday! Hope everyone is having a great day. Today is National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. Brings us back to our childhood, when there was nothing better than a pb&j sandwich with milk. Mmmm.

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring an awesome quilt shop located in Utah, Just Sew Highland. Just Sew Highland has a wonderful selection of diverse fabric collections, from more traditional to more modern. As well, they have “blocks of the month” on their blog, where they feature projects made by their customers. They recently shared a stunning quilt on their Instagram, with our Wildflowers by Alisse Courter Collection. Eva took the challenge, and created Gigi Thimble’s Fresh Cuts Quilt. Fresh Cuts is such a perfect choice because of the lovely tulip designs. The quilt looks fresh, happy, and spring-y, getting us ready for the new season. We adore the mix of prints that Eva chose from Wildflowers, and that she chose to keep the background white so that the flowers could really pop! The quilt kit is also available at Just Sew.
