Hi everyone,
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It was HOT here, but we also unfortunately had some rain. Rain + humidity = not so fun :( How was everyone else’s weekend?
It’s time for this week’s Moody Monday! And in lieu of launching our Summer 2015 Collections last week, today we are featuring our Under the Sea by Heather Rosas Collection. Under the Sea is our fun and whimsical collection of beautiful mermaids, adorable sea creatures, and super-neat scale prints. From the cheery crabs to the happy fishies, this collection brings us all of the things we love most about the ocean in its coral, green, and aqua hues! We could imagine a little one’s mermaid costume, complete with her own mermaid tail or an “under the sea” inspired bedroom, complete with mermaid pillows and a cozy crab quilt.
Peruvian designer Jessica Butrich’s Spring 2014 collection was very much inspired by the beach. With its cool seafoam and coral colors, effortless crop tops and high-waisted bottoms, and pretty nautical stripes – we could imagine wearing all of her outfits on our next cruise or Mediterranean vacation! We especially adored the design and colors on this top, which was reminiscent of our beloved crab print. An absolutely stunning outfit! You can also check out the rest of the collection here.
We hope you have enjoyed today’s post! We’d love to know what your ideal vacation would be, and what your dream suitcase would hold inside. We’re going to keep dreaming, haha. Have a great day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! Woo it’s just about the weekend!! We’re also hosting an Emilia FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page, so if you haven’t entered yet, be sure to!
It’s also Fan Friday time! Today we are featuring a super sweet dress sewn by Kreated by Kate, with our Peacock Garden by Jane Farnham Collection. Katelyn Boehm, designer and creator behind Kreated by Kate, makes custom hair bows, dresses, tutus, and more for little princesses-at-heart. Her style is very feminine and sweet, which is her source of inspiration when designing and choosing fabrics for her clothing. She loves all the ruffles, all the tulle, and all the pink. Of course, we wholeheartedly think the exact same way. Hehe! ;)
One of Katelyn’s latest dresses is using a Create Kids Couture pattern – the Loretta Dress. The dress features gorgeous ruffle cap sleeves, an empire waist, and an adorable y-back detail. Loretta can also be made into a ruffled-hem maxi dress and top, but Katelyn opted for a shorter version and styled it with little cowboy boots on her daughter. SO cute! She chose our Peacock Garden collection for this dress, with the green prints as the main and some pink for the details. Such a sweet dress!!
Thank you so much, Katelyn, for the fabric love. We cannot get over how adorable your dress is, and of course, how adorable your daughter is wearing it!! And with that, have a great weekend everyone! :)
Happy Sewing!

What We Love time… #57 that is ♥ Lots of inspiration from the wonders of mother nature this week. From the deep blues of the Mediterranean waters to this captivating Victo Ngai illustration, see what else we’ve been inspired by this week… ♥

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a wonderful day!! We’re hosting an Emilia FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page, so be sure to enter!!
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a new pattern by Tie Dye Diva – the Jon & Janie Romper! Jen, pattern designer behind Tie Dye Diva, creates wonderful and easy-to-follow clothing & accessory patterns for boys and girls. The Jon & Janie Romper is an adorable little romper pattern for your little one, as it can range from newborn to 3 years old. There are two versions, the classic romper with straight legs or with a gathered-bottom bubble. The gentle curves and snap inseam of the romper make it comfortable with a diaper. And bonus! There is a tutorial that will also show you how to make a dress version from the same pattern.
Bibbity Bobbins sewed a version of the Jon & Jamie Romper to be featured with the Tie Dye Diva pattern, with our Let’s Go by Andrea Turk Collection! She chose the green design with adorable little foxes, and we love how sweet it looks as a full romper. Her son is looking very happy & dashing in his new playsuit!
Thank you so much, Jen, for choosing our fabric collection to feature with your new pattern! You can find the pattern for the Jon & Janie Romper here. Jen also designed a Tunic & Bloomers set for our Free Projects Program which you can find here & here. Have an awesome day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a lovely day. Today is Shark Awareness Day! Cool shark fact of the day? Sharks’ ears are located inside of their heads, and can hear up to 3000 feet away!! Wow. They’ve definitely got supreme hearing skills!
On to our How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our High Tide Pillow by Stephanie Palmer of Late Night Quilter. The High Tide pillow is a fun design, comprised of different sized triangles and trapezoids. Together they create an awesome, scrappy and whimsy feel. This larger, 20″ x 20″ sized pillow is perfect as an accent pillow for a serene living room space, or to jazz up some plain outdoor wicker chairs. We chose to feature this pillow with our London Fog collection, and had fun mixing the different teal & grey prints together. The finished pillow is fun, but would still fit perfectly into a contemporary space.
