Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!! We had beautiful weather here, perfect for lots of swimming and refreshing lemonade! :)

And speaking of bright and citrus-y things, it’s time to start off our week with our Moody Monday! Today we are sharing our wonderful Pink Lemonade Collection by Ciana Bodini for Camelot Fabrics. Pink Lemonade is our punchy, happy, and sweet collection of lemons, lemons, and more lemons! Delicious lemon wedges are combined with soft hues of pink & grey to create a super fun & cheery collection. Perfect for a summer party or citrus-inspired room, our Pink Lemonade would make a beautiful quilt. fabric napkins, and apron.

Kate Spade’s Spring 2014 collection was just a color- and print-infused as usual! Among the crisp teals, pinks, and red were punches of sweet lemon prints, combined with Kate Spade’s infamous super girly style. We fell in love with this outfit – because I mean, when life gives you lemons…wear a lemon-printed dress, with a matching pair of tennis shoes, visor, and bag, right? Right! ;)

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a lovely day. Today is National Vanilla Ice Cream Day… we’ll gladly have ice cream of ANY flavor, any day. If we could, of course haha ;)

Time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a fantastic quilting read, the McCall’s Quick Quilts magazine. McCall’s Quick Quilts is the McCall’s magazine dedicated to the beginner quilter, those who have just found an interest in quilting and aren’t quite sure where to begin or those who are looking for some easier-leveled quilt patterns. As the name suggests, this magazine is all about modern quilting, and focuses on patterns. Each issue includes a good number of quilt patterns to choose from, so you may have some future WIPs coming up ;) “Make fresh, fun, fabulous quilts” is this issue’s motto, and we couldn’t have summed it up better ourselves.

In the latest issue of McCall’s Quick Quilts, Tammy Silvers of Tamarinis (also one of our amazing pattern designers!), designed a quilt pattern for them called Morning Stroll. Morning Stroll focuses on a lesson on quick and easy curves, using templates to create pieced wedges. The quilt pattern features our Folklore Collection by Heather Rosas, with the pretty red and blue feminine prints creating such a stunning bed quilt.

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having a wonderful day. Today is National Summer Leisure Day, so if you’re lucky to have some summer vacation, enjoy today in the beautiful sunshine today!

It’s time for our Winsday! Last week, we hosted an Emilia FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page. It’s How To’s Day! Today’s tutorial is for a super pretty Bias Trimmed Pillow Sham by Marion of Made by Marion. This bias trimmed pillow sham is a fun twist on your basic pillow cover. Its diagonal design gives the pillow a modern feel, along with the trim detailing and easy back zipper closure. Make two (or more!) and spruce up your bed space – goodbye boring pillow cases, hello gorgeous pillow shams! We chose to feature our Emilia Collection, with its lovely purple and grey hues, which makes for a very feminine and soft look.
