Happy Friday! I hope you all had a lovely week – and are ready for some fun this weekend!!

Ending a great week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a gorgeous bag sewn by Valerie Higgins of Eldra Ann Designs. Valerie chose Swoon Sewing Pattern‘s Vivian Traveler Diaper Bag pattern to create this wonderful bag for a friend. She included the additional pockets and one long exterior pocket for a diaper changing pad. She decided to feature our Gray Matters by Jack!e McFee collection, with its vibrant yellow and grey tones, to create a modern and feminine diaper bag. Valerie also mentioned that she “loved making this bag, mostly because [she] never got tired of looking at these beautiful fabrics”. Aww, thanks Valerie!!

Ohhhhhh, the inside lining is just as pretty and fun!!

Thank you, Valerie, for the fabric love. We are also big fans of Swoon Sewing Patterns, so it was great to see our Gray Matters made into one of her bags. We hope your friend enjoys her new bag! There’s nothing wrong with getting the creative juices flowing by going to a museum or watching an interesting documentary. Being inspired by others is good and healthy. Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a wonderful day!! Today is National Lemonade Day, and what a perfect day for it to be… a cool, refreshing glass of lemonade is just what we need on this hot day!

It’s time for our Thankful Thursday! One of the coolest “retail shop” ideas we’ve seen… we bring to you Trailer Stash Fabrics! Just as the name suggests, this fabric shop is housed in a restored, Vintage 1963 Shasta 1900 Deluxe Travel Trailer. It doesn’t get any more awesome than that! Owner, Gina Allen, also has an Etsy Shop that she sells fabric and quilt kits. But a couple of times a month, Gina will stock up her trailer with her favorite fabrics, and head to different pop-up sales & sewing workshops.

She will also create quilt samples to showcase the fabrics on her trailer… and most recently, she had one created with one of our fabrics… and with one of our free quilt patterns! She chose our Crossroads by Jessie Kurtz quilt pattern, with our bright and fun Paradise Collection by Alisse Courter. It looks absolutely stunning, even before it has been quilted!

She also had one created with our Darling Collection, using our Plus Sized Free Quilt Pattern.

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having a fabulous day so far! It’s been so hot and humid here, all we want to do is be by the pool or beach – with a margarita in hand, of course ;) Especially since it’s National Sandcastle Day!

We are so thrilled everyone adored our rich, metallic collection and we were so glad to see the inspiration it brought in your project ideas. Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a fantastic, National Soft Ice Cream Day! Get yourself a delicious chocolate or vanilla soft serve (we love the duo kind!), kick back and relax, and enjoy today!

On to our How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Baby Blocks Quilt by Larene Smith of The Quilted Button. Our Baby Blocks Quilt is a lovely block-by-block pattern of squares that create a clean and contemporary design, perfect for a modern nursery. The different “squares” allow for you to have fun with different fabric prints, to create visual interest. We chose to feature our feminine Emilia Collection, and chose like patterns in a diagonal design. The border is our darker medallion print, which gives the overall quilt a nice warmth.
