Time for our Moody Monday!! Today we are featuring one of our beautiful collections from Spring 2013 – Mint to Be by the Camelot Design Studio. Mint to Be is an exquisite collection of orange, mint, and navy hues featuring modern prints of ombre, florals, and lovely geometric shapes. The three main colors in this collection – navy, mint, and orange – all strong and beautiful on their own, are equally stunning in contrast to one another. This collection is fresh, upbeat, and playful…and would make a beautiful playsuit for a little one or an on-trend dress for you!

One collection that is reminiscent of our Mint to Be collection is that of Michael Kors’ Spring 2015 RTW Collection. Michael Kors’ latest collection is packed with a punch of color, texture, and silhouettes that we cannot wait to wear for the upcoming Spring and Summer seasons. We love the bold floral prints and nautical feel of the whole collection, but we especially adore this pastel blue combo. It definitely reminds us of a design from Mint to Be, and we would most definitely sport this whole look! You can check out Michael Kors’ full collection here.

It’s time for our What We Love #10 ♥ Every week, we have been sharing with you all the things that ‘tickle our fancy’ here at the Camelot Design Studio, on our Pinterest. Today we are sharing some of the things that we have really been enjoying as of late. We love designing and creating, and are often inspired by our everyday lives and activities. Whether it is a day out with family, cooking with friends, playing our favorite game or instrument, or going on a picnic…there is so much to be influenced by. Take time to do the things that make you happy, because happiness is the true ingredient to success. On to what we’ve loved this week… ♥

To start off another great week, we’ve got this week’s Moody Monday to inspire you. Today we are sharing our Pastel Me More by Camelot Design Studio Collection from our latest Summer 2014 collections. Pastel Me More is a fun, upbeat, and girly collection of beautiful…yup, you guessed it, pastels. Pinks, greys, blue, and yellow come together to create wonderful swirl of geometric and floral patterns. With a mod-flair, these colors are perfect for spring and summer – throw on your favorite oversized sunnies, large floppy hat, and an adorable pastel dress and you will be all set for a picnic in the park or sunset bike ride! We were definitely inspired by Alexander Lewis‘ Resort 2015 Collection – full of sweet, pastel-y hues, mod-inspired cuts and silhouettes, and pretty patterns…we lovelovelove this one. It definitely reminds us of our Pastel Me More collection, so girly and vintage-inspired with a modern twist. We can never get enough pastels for the spring and summer! Happy Monday! We hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It’s not the best of days here today, dreary and a forecast for rain, but we are feeling great after our Summer 2014 Collections Launch Week. If you have not seen all five new collections yet, be sure to check them out here! We also have coordinating free projects for you all, which we are sure you will love. We are also hosting our Licensed Fabrics Giveaway on our Facebook this week, so be sure to enter if you haven’t yet. The giveaway winner will be announced this Wednesday!

It’s time to start off the week with our Moody Monday! We are featuring one of our empowering collections this week, our Girl Power II by Camelot Design Studio Collection. Our Girl Power II Collection features all of your favorite strong, independent, and gorgeous superheroines – Wonder Woman, Batgirl, and Supergirl. This collection is all about showcasing strength, determination, and drive…which is showcased brilliantly in this fun and vivaciously-colored collection. The red, blue, and turquoise hues are exciting and bold – characteristics of our favorite superheroines – and the designs capture these gals in action, together and in their dedicated skus. This one is for your own, little superheroines – we love the idea of a Girl Power circle skirt, or an empowering quilt.

Roksanda’s Resort 2015 Collection encapsulates a very comic-book inspired feel that perfectly fits with our Girl Power theme today. Roksanda’s Collection is bold and exciting in color, combinations, and print. We absolutely adore the use of bright colors together, and especially the splattered designs – SO fun and beautiful!! This collection gives off a very strong and powerful feel, and goes very well with our Girl Power Collection. It’s a SUPER exciting week because it is our Summer 2014 Launch Week!! We have FIVE new collections to share with you, and we will be launching one everyday this week. So be sure to stick around and see all the new & pretty fabrics we’ve got for you. It’s time for DAY ONE of our Summer 2014 Launch Week…

The first fabric collection we are launching is our very adorable and newest license…Paddington Bear by the Camelot Design Studio! The lovable Paddington Bear seriously brings us so much nostalgia, back to our childhood, and we are absolutely in adoration for this little guy. Our Paddington Bear collection encapsulates that sense of joy and happiness of childhood, and its muted, pastel hues makes this collection very soft and comforting. The collection includes beautiful illustrations of Paddington Bear, in his classic rain hat & wellies, and his adventures, making this collection the perfect choice for a nursery – themed curtains, crib bumper, rocking chair pillow, and baby quilt and your little one will have the absolute cutest of rooms!

Being the worldly traveler, all the way from Peru to London, Paddington Bear embarks on many adventures and, at times, mishaps. We think a Paddington Bear passport cover would the perfect fit, and would make finding your passport when traveling much easier. As well, a Paddington Bear quilt would be the perfect gift for a new mother or for a little on in your life; the narrative designs make this collection easy to incorporate into a quilt design, such as this one, this one, or this one.

 
And just in time, the Paddington Bear Movie will be released in the Fall of this year, and we are so thrilled! We cannot wait to see it in theaters. If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check out the trailer for the movie – it’s going to be a fantastic one! We really hope you enjoy our Paddington Bear Collection, and that it brings much happiness and nostalgia for you.
