It’s time for our What We Love #18 ♥ We cannot believe that it is already October! We are so excited for all that is to come for Fall – getting to wear cozy knits, picking apples at the orchard, and playing in all the colorful leaves. There’s nothing better than that crisp feeling and smell of fall air, walking in the splendors of all that is to be cherished by this amazing season. This week, we have been inspired by the wondrous colors of Autumn – the brooding blues of these pretty thread spools, the mustard tones of this adorable bear packaging, and the majestic colors of the “River of Five Colors”  in Colombia. It’s time for this week’s Moody Monday! We’re featuring one of our incredible licenses this week…our Ultimate Spider-Man II Collection by the Camelot Design Studio. This one is for all of our Marvel and Spidie fans – a collection of the iconic red and blue colors that showcase our main man brilliantly. Encapsulated in vivacious blue and red, Ultimate Spider-Man II features Spidie to the rescue, and of course using his iconic spiderweb.  All of the designs in our Ultimate Spider-Man II collection are great for a little (or not so little) man’s bedroom – imagine some Spider-man pillows and curtains, finished by an awesome blue- and red-infused quilt…perfect for a little superhero-in-training!

We were inspired by the classic red and blue colors in our Ultimate Spider-Man II Collection, and Dior’s Fall 2014 RTW Collection encapsulates a very futuristic and superhero-esque feel. We absolutely adore that this collection is color-focused, using bright and bolder colors as opposed to letting patterns voice the collection. We love color-blocking, and Dior’s collection does this brilliantly. Of course, we were inspired by the red and blue outfit (Spider-Man colors!)…two colors that you wouldn’t necessary put together in an outfit, but look fantastic! Happy Monday! We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! It was super sunny and hot this weekend for us; the humidity was definitely at its high…but it was the perfect weekend for sitting by the pool, with a summer cocktail (or jumping into the pool too!). Have you seen our What We Love post? We are starting a new feature on the blog sharing with you all what we, the Camelot Design Studio, loved most for the week! :)

It’s time to start off this sunshine-filled week with our Moody Monday! Today we are inspiring you with our Cove by Camelot Design Studio collection for Spring 2014. Encapsulated in a calm colour palette of powdered blue, tan, and muted grey…this collection is very ocean-inspired. The clear waters, the gritty sand, and the smell of the salty air…these are some of things we love most about the beach, and Cove brings us back to that place. Cove mixes calming colors with modern prints of ikats, fretworks, and hexagons and would be the perfect setting for a ocean-themed room. Think tide colored pillows, a cozy blue and tan quilt, and some decorative sea glass pieces to finish off the look. If you can’t get to the beach, then creating something or decorating with Cove is the next best thing! Check out all the full Cove collection HERE!

One collection that reminds us of our Cove Collection is that of M.Patmos’ Spring 2014 RTW line. Soft hues are always on-trend for the Spring and Summer, but we have been seeing a lot of powdered blues on the runways for Spring 2014, such as at the Nina Ricci and Marchesa shows too.

There is just something so calming and serene about this muted blue color that we especially adore, which is perfect for contrasting against the hot summer temperatures. M.Patmos’ collection is a mixture of blues, greens, and tans which reminds us of clear, tropical waters. This look especially reminds us of Cove, with the stunning woven sweater and accompanying tan & powdered blue accessories. Such a beach-y look! You can check out the full collection here.
