Today is our What We Love #9! ♥ This week, we have been inspired by all that is gold, brilliant, and encouraging. Fire is the element of life, passion, and newness…three characteristics that inspire us to take charge of our life paths. We adore this fire pit table that brings people together for a fun and delicious meal. One can never have too many shiny accessories, such as these beautiful earrings, golden keys, and minimalistic utensils. Lastly, we share this empowering quote that encourages us to take the extra step because the outcome will be wonderfully rewarding ♥
Shannen: Minimalistic Earrings
Vanessa: “Go the Extra Mile” Quote
Juan: Fire Pit Table
Valeria: Golden Keys
Marion: Simple Utensils
We hope that we have inspired you with this week’s What We Love. We are all about encouragement and ‘following your dreams’ here at the Camelot Design Studio, so we hope you find/have found that ‘spark’ in your life that truly makes you happy. Be sure to check out the other things that we love on our Pinterest Board ♥

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday!! YAY for it being almost the weekend! We have been busy launching our Summer 2014 Collections this week, and we hope you have been liking them!! We would love to know which is your favorite. As well, we are hosting our Facebook Licensed Fabrics Giveaway this week; be sure to enter to win 5 yards of some of our favorite licensed fabrics :)
It’s time for this week’s Fan Friday!! Today we are featuring a really awesome and cool Etsy Shop, The Apron Addict, that sells stunning aprons…and other little gems. Susan Dewolf, owner and designer for The Apron Addict, had been a teacher for over 30 years but has always had a love for fabric & sewing. She decided to follow her passion and do something that she loved – she started The Apron Addict, and it has only expanded in popularity since its open in 2007. Susan creates several different apron designs, all of which are very beautiful and functional. She also makes aprons for kids – so cute!! Susan chooses fabrics that are modern and bright, which makes all of her aprons stylish and fun to wear. These aprons are great for baking or cooking, or for holding all your crafting tools. We absolutely love the bow detailing, so feminine and girly!!
Susan chose our Petite Plume by Andrea Turk for Cinnamon Joe Studio Collection and we love the orange & yellow pops – it makes for such a beautiful and elegant apron. No longer are the days for drab and boring aprons; The Apron Addict has the perfect apron for you…and once you get one, you might just get addicted and want one in every design and color ;)
Be sure to check out The Apron Addict for all of Susan’s beautiful apron design, as well as check her out on Facebook. We hope you have enjoyed this week’s Fan Friday. Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!! :)

It’s the LAST DAY of our Summer 2014 Collections Launch Week!! We hope that you have been enjoying the four collections we have launched this week: Paddington Bear, It’s a Birds’ Life, London Fog, and Pastel Me More!! We’d love to know what you think and which is your favorite. Be sure to check out the full collections on our website, as well as their coordinating free projects and blog posts.
The last collection that we are going to share with you for Summer 2014 is our Opposites Attract by Jackie McFee Collection! Opposites Attract is striped down to the ‘basics’ of black and white – two colors that may be overlooked when it comes to ‘what your favorite color is’, but are the most used and loved. Black and white are minimalist and simple colors, but together create a very classic and modern feel in our Opposites Attract Collection. Using the basics, it allows you to be more creative and have more fun when it comes to texture, design, and patterns; our Opposite’s Attract does just that, letting its patterns speak for themselves.
We love wearing a black or white outfit, and then adding a pop of color in our accessories or shoes…or wearing a bright colored dress and toning it down with a black & white clutch. We love the idea of a black and white quilt, table runner, or pillow, because it allows you to have fun with your room decor and your quilt will always match! We absolutely adore this Diamond Sparkle Quilt by The Quilted Button with our Opposites Attract Collection.
We really hope you like our Opposites Attract by Jackie McFee Collection!! What is your favorite color? Check out all the free projects and complete collection on our website. And, be sure to check out our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for lots more. We hope we have enjoyed our Summer 2014 Collections Launch Week!! We’d love to know which is your favorite :)

Hi everyone!
Happy Thursday! We hope everyone has had a wonderful week so far. Have you been following our Summer 2014 Launch Week? There are 5 new collections for Summer 2014, and we have been launching a new one everyday this week. Be sure to see our latest collection launches on our Facebook, blog, and website. Let us know which is your favorite thus far! And while you’re on our Facebook, be sure to enter our Licensed Fabrics Giveaway – you could win 5 yards of some favorite licenses.
It’s also time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are taking the time to thank our wonderful friends at Westcott. Westcott has been one of the world’s leading scissors brands for over 140 years. Founded in 1872 by Henry Westcott in Seneca, New York, the Westcott Brand has gone through two World Wars and the Great Depression. Over the years, Westcott has expanded its product range to other cutting tools, office and school supplies, and craft supplies (such as lettering and trimming tools). Their wide range in products has allowed them to enter new markets, however what has stayed the same is their high-quality and well-made products. Westcott is a worldwide, trusted brand for all your cutting tool needs!
Westcott has been super generous and wonderful, as they had provided us with lots of goodies to try out with our fabric and crafting products (felt and ad-fab™). Some of the products that they let us test out were the Trimair Paper Trimmer, Multi-Purpose Trimmer, Titanium Precision Scissors, and extra blades. We have had the best of time getting to test out all the cutting tools, and we can definitely uphold to them being one of the best in the world! The paper trimmers cut through paper seamlessly, and we have been using their scissors for our fabric, ad-fab™, and felt.
Thank you SO much, Westcott, for being so sweet! We have also collaborated with them on a couple of past festivals, such as CreativFest and ScrapFest – we sent them our felt and ad-fab™ for their workshops. As well, look for more collaborations with Westcott and Camelot Fabrics in the near future – we cannot wait!! Have a wonderful day, everyone!! :)
