It’s time for this week’s Fan Friday! Nikki of Seam Allowance Fabrics used one of our free patterns, our Wallace the Whale pattern, to create an adorable toy whale for her son. She scaled our pattern to 60% because her son wanted a baby whale, and we think that Wallace looks just as sweet. She chose a green and white design for the main body, and a white for the tale and tummy. He son looks so happy with his new whale friend!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. The weather is absolutely gorgeous here this week, and we are loving it!

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Quilt Bars quilt by Tammy Silvers of Tamarinis. Quilt Bars is a modern and clean quilt design of layered rectangles to create a “multiplying” illusion of symmetrical space. It’s a great pattern for featuring a multitude of different fabric designs, because of the separating blocks. We chose to feature our Disney Princess collection with this quilt, and adore how the pink hues blend together. This would be such a sweet quilt for a little princess-in-training, tucked in and ready to dream about fairytales!

Happy Friday! And Happy Hallow’s Eve! What is everyone dressing up as this year?

Ending our week is our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring an adorable quilt made by TamTam Designs, with our Sea Life by Heather Rosas collection. TamTam Designs specializes in handmade, cozy baby blankets and plush play mats. More specifically, TamTam Designs’ blankets are puffed, so that they add extra comfort and support for little ones. It is such a unique technique and look, and can be created with lots of different colors and designs mixed together. One of their recent releases is a puff quilt with our Sea Life collection, and we adore how the green and blues look together! She added a cuddle border, and it is the perfect puff quilt for a little swimmer-in-training.

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. We had a wonderful Fall Quilt Market this past weekend… stay tuned for a fun recap!

Time for this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are featuring one of our newest Fall 2015 collections, Flourish by Ciana Bodini. Flourish is a soft and dreamy collection of pretty florals and streamlined prints. The inviting peach, mint, and mineral blue hues are a perfect combination for this romantic collection. The effortless femininity of this collection is reminiscent of a quiet spot in the outskirts of Paris – all you’re missing is a chic dress, classic french read, and a vintage bicyclette!

Red Valentino’s Fall 2012 Collection is so whimsical and sweet, just like Flourish! The whole collection is infused with blushing pinks, ruffles, florals on florals, and over-the-top bows – just as we like it!! This dress was reminiscent of our Flourish print; we adore the Marie Antoinette/doll-feel of the ensemble, especially how the model was styled. So fun!
