Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! And Happy First of May!!! We are just SO excited for all the awesome things that will be happening this month…one being Quilt Market! Wooo – see you at booth 101!

It’s time to end our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a beautiful tunic by the blog szycie i cala reszta, featuring our Iconic Collection. Iconic is our feminine and dainty collection of pink, taupe, and navy hues in gorgeous geometrics. When we look at this collection, we feel very 1950s inspired – mid-length dresses, fabulous hats, and elegant accessories. We can imagine a lovely tea dress in our navy and pink sartorial print, worn by the iconic Coco Chanel herself!

The blogger behind szycie i cala reszta created a lovely tunic top with the french knot design of our Iconic Collection, and it looks so good!! We love the cleanness of the tunic, really showcasing the boldness of the print. Such a wonderful, chic tunic!

Thank you so much for sharing your Camelot Fabrics project with us! You can find more on her blog, Instagram, and Facebook. Her blog is in Polish, but her projects are so lovely to look at (I believe szycie is sewing in Polish) :) Have a great weekend!!

It’s our What We Love #46 ♥ It’s going to be May this week, crazy eh? At least the weather is slowly matching up to the season – it’s been breezy, but temperate with lots of sunshine. The nice change in weather has definitely inspired our mood this week. We’ve been big fans of bright color – from beautiful photography to colorful wear, springtime has definitely been inspiring what we’ve been pinning. We love alllll the bright colors. See what else we’ve been loving this week… ♥

Hi everyone,

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a lovely day. It’s the last day to enter our Sea Life FQB Giveaway on our Facebook Page, so be sure to enter! :)

It’s How To’s Day time! Today we are featuring one of our wonderful free project quilt patterns by Melissa Corry of Happy Quilting Designs. Melissa created a couple of projects for us, one being her Hang Time Quilt. Hang Time is a very cool looking quilt, with 16 blocks together to create a window-like effect. If you choose one colour for the lattice design, it looks almost like “stained glass”. Sometimes with an intricate-looking design, less is more when it comes to patterns…so we love the look of Hang Time with our Fresh Solids. The bright colours gives the right amount of oomph to the quilt, and would look incredible on top of a bed or on a wall. It’s pretty much art! You can also find the full pdf printout here.

Hi everyone,

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! Finally got around to doing some Spring cleaning, starting with my mess of a closet haha. The result? Two bags full of clothing to donate. Woo!

Time to start off another great week with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring one of the collections we launched last week – our Star Wars: Immortals Collection. Star Wars: Immortals is our collection of bestselling Star Wars designs…back and ready to be created into awesome, new projects! This collection features 16 of our fan favorite Star Wars designs; you’ve asked, and we’ve listened! From our classic comic prints to our bold galactic-inspired designs, Star Wars: Immortals has got it all. See the full collection here.

Balmain’s Spring 2015 Collection was bold and beautiful. We love the drama that was embodied in this collection, focusing on the use of structure color-blocking instead of patterned fabric. Balmain definitely was inspired by the future and outer space, as the whole collection was very galaxy-inspired, with the caged details, choker necklaces, and cool cutouts. The graphic-feel of this collection was perfectly reminiscent of our Star Wars: Immortals Collection. We especially loved this black and blue number!

We hope we have inspired you with today’s post. We’d love to know what trends you’re looking forward to for the springtime. And be sure to enter our giveaway, if you haven’t yet. Have a great day!
