Hi everyone!
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a lovey day.
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! New year, new beautiful quilts to be discovered!! Today we are sharing a gorgeous quilt pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Co. – Broken Bars! A version of the Broken Bars Quilt was created by Cristina Tepsick from Pretty Little Quilts. The quilt design reminded her of rows of books, and from that inspiration, created a Jane Austen-inspired color scheme with our Magnolia by Alisse Courter collection. She followed Jenny’s tutorial pretty much to a “t”, but changed the sizes of the strips to give an authentic bookshelf feel. We love her version, and how she even added strips of horizontal pieces to reference a real book’s spine. The Broken Bars quilt is such a great one, and we adore how Cristina revamped it! What a fantastic tutorial reboot.
Thank you to Jenny and everyone at Missouri Star Quilt Co. for the awesome free pattern, and to Cristina for choosing our fabric for her revamp. If you’d like to check out the tutorial reboot, you can click here. They’re also giving away a bundle of our Magnolia collection, so be sure to enter. Have an amazing rest of the day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday!! I hope you all have a super fun Halloween weekend!! We may or may not still have candy leftovers from Friday that we are still munching on… ;)
It’s time for our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our Enchanted by Alisse Courter collection. Enchanted is a gorgeous and moody collection of rustic orange, purple and mustard tones to create lots and lots of enchanting florals. This collection reminds us of a scenic drive while the trees have been ignited by autumn’s colors. A cozy and beautiful collection, a perfect backdrop for all your cooler weather projects.
Andrew Gn’s RTW Spring 2016 collection was moody, broody, and fabulously decorated with lots of floral prints. Colors of nature – greens, blues, vibrant orange – were the main stars of this collection, and added a boldness and flair to the otherwise soft, chiffon textiles. We especially were head over the heels for this dress, which was effortless and very reminiscent of our Enchanted prints.
We hope you have inspired today! We would love to know what colors you enjoy wearing during the fall time. Do you like to switch to the darker, more moody tones or do you stick with your brights? Have a lovely day!

We’re sharing some more Fall 2015 Collections with you! Today we are launching our Enchanted by Alisse Courter Collection. Enchanted is our warm and cozy floral-infused collection in red-orange, marigold, and plum colorways. Each color reminds us of the richness of autumn at its peak. Together, they create a wonderfully unexpected and unique combination of hues.
Get your cozy on with an autumn-hued Enchanted quilt, such as our Whimiscal Quilt – make yourself a hot cup of tea and choose your favorite novel, and you’ll be set! They say warm tones boost the appetite; how about testing that theory with some marigold-yellow curtains and matching table napkins? Now we’re just missing the pumpkin spice muffins!
We’d love to know what you think about our Enchanted by Alisse Courter collection!! We’re ready to show you more of our Fall 2015 collections… are you ready? :)

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a marvelous day!!
On to this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are sharing a project featured in the Sew Fabricated Quilt Shop – our Boxy Tunic sewn by the lovely Jess Zim. To showcase our Paradise by Alisse Courter collection, they chose our Boxy Tunic (a free pattern on our website!) as the front liner, and wow – does it look fantastic in person!! They chose the purple, medallion print for the bodice, the floral damask print for sleeve and hem details, and even added POCKETS!! An addition by Jess, that we absolutely adore. The dress is so cute, and makes for a wonderful walk-in to greet customers.
This dress definitely made us take a double-turn look when we saw it on Instragam!! Jess did an amazing job in creating the Boxy Dress, and we hope she had fun sewing with our pattern!
Thank you so much, Jess and Sew Fabricated, for the pattern and fabric love!! We want a dress of our own – pockets included!! ;) Have a wonderful day, everyone!
Happy Sewing!
